In the winter, spend a cosy day indoors or enjoy time outdoors. Two cross country ski/snowshoe locales—Kawartha Nordic Ski Club and Silent Lake Provincial Park—are within a half-hour drive.

Stay beside the North River in our charming guesthouse cabin. Private riverfront to launch canoes or kayaks Public Boat launch across the road. Short drive to several lakes, the Trent Severn, multiple parks, extensive off roading & snowmobiling trails. Single loft with two twin beds that can easily be put together to make a king and a comfy queen size sofa bed on the main floor. Wood stove is the primary heat. Well cared for pets and their responsible owners are welcomed!

Your group will have the complete front side of the house (everything shown in the pictures), patio, private spa, fire pit etc. The back side of the house is a separate rental unit. There are 2 kayaks, a canoe and a paddleboat available for your use along with the recommended safety equipment.

Heritage barn turned zen-den! Our open-concept, loft style, timber-frame cabin has exposed beams, barn board walls, and plenty of windows to enjoy the lake view. Decorated with a beachy boho meets mid-century vibe, it's cozy and airy at the same time! The private deck offers the perfect place to listen to the birds and read a good book. The Nook is on our 1 acre, lakefront property, alongside our home. We hope you love it here as much as we do!
