Family-friendly holiday rentals in Arçais

The house is absolutely in line with the listing. All the comforts are there to accommodate a family or friends (kitchen equipment, games and accessories for children, barbecue and smoker). The land is beautiful, very well maintained by Cathy and her husband. In addition, Cathy was very welcoming, attentive, sharing, always ready to answer the slightest question with a smile and the utmost precision. And finally, a big thank you to her for the afternoon spent gently removing splinters from our little Eden's hand. We'll be back for sure!

We had a wonderful week. Fred and Sabrina could not have made us feel more welcome. Would highly recommend this for a couple looking for a relaxing break close to many areas of interest. Every need was catered for and more and went way beyond our expectations. Very nice people.

We had a great weekend with friends at Roz's. The house is very beautiful, clean, spacious. Everything is provided (bed linen, towels, etc.). Small touches were waiting for us, it's a plus that we really appreciated. The many activities available on site occupied us well, we did not leave the weekend house: pool, jacuzzi, billiards, ping pong, darts, etc. Small dedication to Bob who welcomed us very warmly!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place. The description is completely in line with reality and the welcome is managed efficiently, allowing you to make the most of a great holiday. Contact with the owners is easy and pleasant, we recommend without hesitation!

Great stay at Cathy and Marco's! The place is beautiful, peaceful and ideal for nature lovers. Birdsong replaces the hum of cars, as few vehicles circulate nearby. A true haven of peace! Hosts are warm, flexible and available. The house is full of charm and reflects the personality of its owners! Well-equipped, cooking is a pleasure. The jacuzzi works well, is very clean and well equipped in a closable glass roof. The view adds to the SPA experience! The outdoor area and garden is very pleasant: covered table, deckchairs and ping pong are available. Our cat also enjoyed it a lot, and in complete safety even outside! We had a splendid time at Emmanuel's place. Our family of five stayed for a week and felt right at home. The house had all we needed to feel comfortable, and it was very clean. We loved the beautiful garden in particular. Also, the location is great. It's a very pretty residential neighborhood, in close walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants, and all the central port area has to offer. Wish we had stayed longer! We had a wonderful time, and we would gladly return to Marie and Emmanuel's place and to La Rochelle.

Nice family house with a big garden, we and our dog loved it. The patio and terrace are relaxing. The open kitchen is large and well equipped, the sitting area is comfortable and spacious. The house is very close to the village center, easy access to the beach and local restaurants. There’s a market twice a week, and local grocery stores. We rented bicycles just around the corner and did not need the car at all. All in all we had an excellent and very relaxing stay :)

Thank you to Elisabeth very welcoming for this stay in her beautiful and large residence with her beautiful garden. She has bcp of merit in maintaining this beautiful house alone. There were 9 of us and we were able to live together while we were at ease and the youngest enjoyed the pool after their day at Futuroscope and the family outing at the Marais Poitevin. thank you also to her for accepting the doggies, which is a plus from a host and thus allowed our doggies to do their christening in a boat. Calm, relaxation guaranteed in this pretty little village.

Julie and Aurélien are lovely hosts. The welcome was perfect (thank you again for the brioche which was delicious). The place is perfect in every way (quiet, beautiful, entertainment for adults and children and bike access to Puy du Fou is a major asset). Great stay, we will recommend to our families and friends wishing to come and visit the Puy du Fou.

Very nice house, pleasant, comfortable, well decorated and well equipped. The outside is as beautiful as the inside. Very friendly welcome from Estelle, which doesn't spoil anything. Remote village but not far from the beaches and La Rochelle. I recommend it.

Absolutely loved our stay at the 'Farm house '..... beautiful surroundings, enveloped in a gorgeous sense of French countryside...loved hearing the rural sounds, brought a real sense of contentment. Claire was the perfect host, dealt with any issues immediately and when I needed to change my hire car booking, she was able to assist with the French speaking agent. Offered heaps of suggestions of places to see and specific restaurants to visit. We would go back again in a heartbeat. thanks Claire and team.

We had a lovely stay at the Priory this summer! The house is beautiful, the garden and pool are perfect for both kids and grownups. The house is well equipped, you will find all you need for your stay, and if you need anything else, you can always reach out to Paula. She was an amazing host to us, very responsive and helpful, friendly but not intrusive. She even had a few nice surprises for us, which I won’t spoil for the others :) Definitely recommended for a relaxing stay in the French countryside.

Beautiful and stylish house very near the beach. Utterly peaceful and quiet yet 7mins walk to restaurants, bakery and shops. Also the garden is fully enclosed so the dogs could run freely. Easy to also hire a bike and see the beautiful island. Thank you to the Travel Paradise team!

We had a family stay at La Flotte the week of Christmas in 2024. There were 7 of us. The house is very pleasant to stay in and matches its description. The central living room is very large and overlooks the garden. We have a nice unobstructed view from the living room. The house was very well heated in winter. We had an excellent and attentive welcome from Catherine from the Concierge. I particularly appreciated the absolute calm at night for sleeping. There was no noise. The location of the house is perfect, in the very pretty village of La Flotte and an 8-minute walk to the city center where many shops were open for Christmas week. La Flotte is the most beautiful village on the island. But thanks to the bike paths, we enjoyed other villages such as Saint Martin and fell in love with Loix. The Île de Ré is very pleasant in winter with few people. We also saw a very nice concert at the Church of St. Catherine.
