We had a wonderful stay at the curragh. The weather was fabulous, so we ate on the patio and went for long walks every day to Ardgroom and the local pier. The whole place is very peaceful it’s really off the beaten track. The views and scenery are incredible. The house was clean light and airy with a lovely kitchen / dinning area. Thank you Rory for a wonderful stay we look forward to coming back again next year.

Unique Old Stone Cottage

JuliaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What an amazing experience. We stayed at Michael’s cottage for one night during our honeymoon, and it was definitely one of our favorite nights. The views are spectacular and include sheep! There is a wonderful beach nearby as well. It was so relaxing and cozy. The accommodations were perfect. Michael is a a great host. He is so friendly, and we feel like we made a friend during our stay. He also gave wonderful driving directions when we left.

Carrig House

Here's a possible review: Absolutely loved my stay here! The location is stunning, with breathtaking views that exceeded my expectations. The surrounding area is serene and peaceful, perfect for unwinding. But what really made my stay special was the host - so friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway! 5 stars isn't enough 😊

Shoemaker’s Rest , Ardgroom, Beara , West Cork

RosieRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Ardgroom is a fantastic little village with a wonderful shop /cafe and a great traditional pub. It's the perfect location for exploring the beautiful Beara Peninsula and beyond. Brendan's house is right in the centre of the village. It was warm and comfortable and had everything we needed. Communication with Brendan was easy and he offered us lots of great advice and recommendations, as well as ensuring we had a warm welcome with local goodies.

White cottage, real wood fire

OliverRating, 5 stars1 week ago
In my many years of Airbnb accommodation, I've never felt as welcome as I did with Maggie and Paddy. Both are always concerned about their guests' well-being, always helpful, and always available with time, advice, and support. The little cottage offers everything you need for a wonderful and relaxing vacation. Quiet yet centrally located. I will never forget my time with them.

Our stay in Gerry‘s cottage was splendid. The cottage has all the comfort you need, offers great views and is in a remote and quiet location within beautiful nature and a walking path nearby. Gerry is a very friendly host and gave us great advice for activities during our stay. We really hope to get back to this very special place one day!

The Cuckoo’s Nest

SophiaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Five stars is not enough for this amazing stay. The tranquility and peace of this place is what makes it so special. The view is breathtaking. The Cuckoo's Nest is modern yet cosy. Because of the big windows you can see much of the surrounding mountainside. The decorations and paintings show that it is owned by people who have an eye for art und design. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with several spices, tea, coffee, sugar and oil. The house had everything you needed and was spotless. The attention to detail made it feel like home. Other then some places in Ireland the tap water from the well was very tasty. Although the accommodation itself is amazing on its own the welcoming nature of Georgina and Tim is what makes it even more special. It felt like staying at a friend's place. They were very helpful and we spent a great evening chatting and visiting Tim's art studio.
