Holiday rentals with lake access in Arendal Municipality

A great house with a lovely view and easy to find with a lovely outdoor area to watch the sun set every evening. The local area is a delight and plenty to do what with the local water taxi to the main town just across the water. We also enjoyed the local island on bikes that we rented locally at Hove. Marjon was very helpful and replied very quickly if we required any information, such a shame we never actually got to meet her.

Strict house with all amenities one needs. The house was clean, neat, modern and cozy. Good beds and peaceful neighborhood. Cheerful and accommodating host. We would love to come back here:)

That place is peaceful and quiet, truly providing an atmosphere of tranquillity. From the breathtaking sea view to the dedicated outdoor grilling area, perfect for a BBQ meal under the open sky. Moreover, its proximity to Hove made it an ideal spot for us windsurfing enthusiasts, especially given the frequent windy days. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a relaxing getaway!

We (two waxes and three children) had wonderful days in the lovely house of Margaret. Here it was incredibly cozy, with plenty of space both inside and out 😊 Large, nice garden with great forest area close by. The house is richly equipped with kitchenware. Here it was easy to enjoy! We would love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay in this accommodation, which perfectly reflects the peaceful and bright soul of Norway. Everything is thought out with taste, simplicity and comfort. The view is simply magical — a true living painting at any time of the day. The apartment was impeccably clean, very well equipped, and perfectly located to discover Grimstad and its surroundings. A huge thank you to our host for his attentive and discreet welcome. This place helped make our trip a calm, beautiful and inspiring break. We leave with a light heart, with the desire to return.

Perfect stay for us with someone of 2 years. Quiet neighborhood, lovely views. Great house with garden and patio with a nice play for children. Short way to the store and beach, and lovely end of the day with a run in the forest followed by a fresh bath in the water.

A great, small basement apartment to stay in while visiting Grimstad. We were at the short film festival, and there was no problem either walking or driving to and from the festival.

We stayed for three nights at Henrietta’s place and had a wonderful time. Apartment is recently renovated, everything is new and spotless. Very quiet surroundings, grocery store in a walkable distance.

What a wonderful place, clean and neat, incredibly nice host, central, walking distance to everything, recommend both the place Grimstad and the apartment was super, and with everything you would need. Great value! 😄

Nice apartment, perfectly suitable for couples with a child. Great location and lovely view right towards the water in quiet and cozy small house buildings, with small public bathing jetty with stairs just below. Well-equipped kitchen, bathroom and patio, good beds. Some small things could be improved: - It works bad to tell that the key is under the mat when there is no mat in front of the door, which had a little more accuracy in communication been preferable. I guess we got to notice help immediately when we called. - It smells a little musty from the kitchen sinks, something should be done about that. Otherwise, it smelled a bit of scented candles in the apartment when we arrived, we could have been outside. - We couldn't get the TV or wifi to work, and the contact person couldn't help, where guests should get clear instructions. However, these are small houses. You should be quite cross and difficult not to enjoy yourself here.

Sissel had just the most elegant apartment which fit exactly the needs we had for our attendance to the yearly Arendalsuka in Norway. Ample parking space, the flat squeaky clean with newly made beds and towels and load of storage place for clothes and food - Sissel had done all to make us feel welcome. It was like coming home! The hosts were absolute gems and we greatly appreciated the care with which they had made the flat ready. We strongly recommend the flat to anyone looking to spend some days in Arendal.
