The Anchorage, Arrochar, was built circa 1913 and has been newly upgraded in December 2019 giving the cottage a luxurious interior with gas central heating and beautiful wood burning stove. Two ensuites and a beautiful bathroom provides guests with plenty of room whilst the large garden with pizza oven and BBQ has amazing views where guests can relax on the decking or seek shade in the lean to. Everyone can use the fire pit, games room or play area to keep occupied or use the Kayaks provided.

This self contained modern Annex is situated in the picturesque village of Arrochar, on the banks of Loch Long, with stunning views of the "Cobbler" amidst the Arrochar Alps. It is an ideal base for walkers, cyclists, swimmers, kayakers & those wishing to experience the Scottish Highlands, within easy reach of Glasgow & Stirling. The mature gardens have extensive bird life, with red squirrels and deer visitors. The village has good train and bus connections and a few lovely old local pubs.

We have 2 listings at the rear of our cottage (double or twin room) each having their own entrance & en-suite shower room. Freesat tv, mini fridge, kettle, toaster,crockery & cutlery. We provide coffee, tea, sugar & milk sachets & couple of breakfast items. We are within walking distance to Tarbet pier, Tarbet bus stop & Tarbet & Arrochar train station.I like to give guests privacy & it’s self check in. PLEASE NOTE This is a small bedroom & small ensuite with NO cooking facilities or lounge.

Open all year. Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers and pets are very welcome and stay at no extra charge. There are many activities in the area for the outdoor enthusiast and Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. Yatin was AMAZING. We needed a new place to land at the very last minute after a car mishap and another Airbnb that was prebooked but so disappointing. Yatin responded to my day of stay request within 5 minutes, and then called to personally communicate a few last helpful things about the house. The house was beatiful, welcoming, and spotless. We all especially apprecaited the QR codes posted that allowed for direct log in access to the WIFI. Little touches were all over the home. The viallage was easily walkable and the local pub and resteraunts were wonderful. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful, homey, spacious place to stay with a larger group or dogs.

Linda was a great host who provided a lovely stay for us. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a private and peaceful retreat with friends or family. The cinema room with the board games was a big hit. It comfortably slept 9 adult males and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our trip.

Lovely location and David was very responsive. We had a wee problem with the hot tub and David came out to rectify it early morning when the weather was at its worst. Great hosts and take pride in their accommodation and facilities. A great break in homely accommodation with the hot tub as a lovely addition. The weather didn’t spoil our stay and enjoyed the peace and quiet of this great location.
