Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Asheboro

Cary’s place was phenomenal. Walking in I felt as though I had walked right into my very own home. The pleasant aroma will meet you at the door. The home in entirety is immaculate. Very clean from the linens to the shower curtain. Those are the things I appreciate and look for in every Airbnb I stay in. Cary’s place checked every box. The lightning in the home is a huge plus. The beds are so comfortable. The kitchen is beautiful with plenty of space. Bathrooms are a great size. Luggage racks are provided. I could rave about this home all day. Please just book. You will not be disappointed.

Our stay here exceeded our expectations. The property is absolutely gorgeous and the pictures do not do it enough justice. Once inside, the home felt much larger than anticipated and had a warm and cozy feel to it. The owners went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and I can’t recommend a stay here enough.

First off Carson is an amazing host! We absolutely loved our stay here. My family of 4 felt right at home. The house and kitchen is well stocked with towels, linens, pillows, pots/pans, cups etc. I only brought seasonings and food. The beds are extremely comfortable and so are the pillows. We are an outdoor family so this spot hit all our outdoor needs. Ate outside a lot, the grill, the table, the fire pit and spacious yard was perfect for us! Now the dock and lake. That’s where we spent most of our time. Beautiful long dock with stairs at the end to jump in and cool off. Brought my own life jackets for the kids. The water is nice and clean as well. We also spent hours fishing here and got lucky with some nice catches. The surrounding neighbors are great we made friends with everyone near by and their sweet puppies especially Lucy and Braxton. DoorDash, Instacart and Dominoes delivery out there for days I didn’t want to leave. We enjoyed this stay very very much, we will be back.

Karen and Robert were lovely hosts - warm and welcoming, even though we never met in person. They were very responsive to all of our questions. The home itself is rustic and modern, and while only minutes away from restaurants, was a peaceful escape from city noise. Would absolutely love to stay here again.

Back Porch was my favorite spot in the morning, birdsong and coffee. practically a bird sanctuary. well appointed kitchen and bathroom. Living areas spacious and comfortable. Bedrooms clean and comfortable.

This adorable house and just what my husband and I were looking for. Close enough to Greensboro, to go to concert. But away from the city with the BEST backyard for privacy and relaxation. Thoughtful decor and thankful for the coffee provided for the morning. 5 stars.

We had an amazing time! The house was absolutely gorgeous and if we had any questions the host were super responsive! The house made us feel at home and the host left treats that made the stay that much better! We’d definitely come and stay again when back in Greensboro!

Adam is a wonderful host and communicator. His lovely updated Craftsman home is private yet conveniently located to shops/restaurants/downtown High Point. It has everything you need for comfort and relaxation. Being able to have my dogs with me while traveling to NC from out of state was generous and kind. Thanks again, Adam. I look forward to returning.

Kelly’s place was the perfect spot for our needs. Her communication and accommodating presence allowed us to feel really comfortable in the space. The location was gorgeous and we really enjoyed walking out back on the trails. Thanks for hosting!

We enjoyed our time at this Airbnb. Neat & Clean. Close to everything, but felt private. Enjoyed the front covered porch and swing, as well. Would stay here again.

We had a relaxing stay at Jeanette’s. Such a great quiet spot, yet close to downtown Carrboro. Everything was spot on. Would definitely stay there again.

Host was friendly and answered back very quickly when I had a question. Place was just what it looked like. Perfect for 1-2 people 3-4 if you use the futon fold out. Despite being in a busy city it was pretty quiet. The bed was much more comfortable than I expected. I had a hip replacement a couple of years ago and I was prepared to wake up kind of stiff and in pain like I do when I sleep in other places but I woke up with no extra pain. I was very pleased with the apartment. I had a nice little getaway and a great price.

Our stay was the perfect space for us to rest and relax while we were visiting our family. Despite being June the weather was a little too chilly to enjoy swimming. My favorite morning and evening spot was in the porch swing by the pool. There are friendly hosts and then there are Jill and her family. They were so gracious and made sure we had everything we needed. Quick to answer any questions but ensured we had our privacy too. We have never enjoyed our hosts as much as the brief time we spent chatting with Jill and her husband. There are lots of books, board games, and little amenities like a towel warmer in the bathroom. We had coffee for our mornings and bottled water already in the refrigerator when we arrived- nice after a long drive. We were gone most of the day but arriving at night and having the pool area lit up was so inviting. When we find our way back to the area we hope to find her property available so we can stay again.

Our stay was more than we expected. Lisa and Ginny were such accommodating hosts. We felt like family! We will definitely be booking again when we’re in town visiting our children.

The cottage was cozy, neat and exactly what my husband and I needed for a weekend getaway! The space is perfectly sized for a single traveler or a couple. We had a small issue with the hot tub and Scott got back to us and solved it quickly, which we really appreciated! Overall, was so peaceful, and we would absolutely stay here again!

Peaceful, private and clean. Met expectations and then some. We really enjoyed ourselves, as did our dog, and appreciate hosts allowing our furry best friend to be with us. Beautiful field and natural surroundings. A lovely escape. Road noise is detectable as per the information, but did not detract from our experience. The sound of songbirds in the morning was heavenly. Saw a Carolina Wren sitting on five eggs in its nest. Excellent communication via messages and written and app instructions. Love the outdoor lights. Very impressed the owners are aware of nature’s need of darkness, so turned off outdoor lights when not in use (outdoor lights confuse migratory birds, for example) and felt safe. Hoping to return soon!

This is a gorgeous property that’s even better in person. We loved the rambling layout, extra large rooms, and hand-built everything. (Windows, closets, bathrooms, 3” thick solid doors). The craftsmanship was super impressive and the decor is really well-done. The bookshelves were filled with many of my favorite authors and the cozy vibes and many comfy armchairs and lamps meant that reading breaks were frequently taken. We hope to be able to stay at the lovely property again.

This was not my first stay at the Scout House, and it will not be my last. Everything about it is perfection - from the location, to the property, to the sensational hosts (Marie & BJ). My stay was delightful in every way and I cannot wait to return!

Split Rock is one of the best experiences you can have, as it is both eye catching and breathtaking. Loads of amazing amenities and fun activity to pursue within the space. Jenny and Peter outdo themselves as hosts, creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere. I’m very appreciative to have booked my stay with them as they are very understanding and helpful. Please consider booking your trip at their lovely estate, you will really be thankful to both Jenny and Peter for opening up their home to you by the end of your trip.

While our stay was not a good one Carolyn was a great host. Very responsive and always communicated regarding our issue. While our stay was not a good one I am confident you will enjoy your stay. The home is very comfortable and super clean. We were only here three nights but the septic/main drain needed to be cleaned out. It wasn’t working for half the time. The bathrooms weren’t usable during this time. Carolyn was very quick to try and resolve the issue. It was pouring rain so it made the job that much tougher. Carolyn refunded 2 nights stay so I believe she felt really bad about our experience.Overall I would stay here again since I feel our issue was just a one off.

This was my 2nd visit to the Klump's cabin, and certainly won't be my last. The pictures and description of this site fail to do it justice, as words and images cannot fully convey the sense of peace just being here brings. And then there's all the "little things" that Gene & Connie provide and do that add so much. Little touches inside and out that just add to the rustic charm, yet modern convenience. Snacks, drinks, magazines to read, firewood cut, split, and stacked ready for use. And there's my favorite feature: the outdoor shower. Isolated, yet close enough in to enjoy the benefits of the city. If you need to sit a spell, breathe, and just relax, this is the place you need to go. Thank you, Connie & Gene!

This place was awesome!!! Robert and Claudia were extremely responsive and hospitable. The goats were so cool. We would definitely stay here again if the need arose!

I stayed at this cabin while my home was undergoing renovations and chose it over a hotel because of its charm and unique character. Built in 1812, the cabin has a historic feel with rustic details that make it one of a kind. Even in the summer heat, the air conditioning worked surprisingly well and kept the space comfortable throughout my stay. The cozy loft bedroom, clawfoot tub, and original wood staircase really added to the experience. There’s also a wood-burning fireplace, which I didn’t use because of the warm weather, but it adds to the charm. The host was incredibly friendly and gave me a personal tour when I arrived, which made me feel right at home. At night, the stars were absolutely stunning without any city lights—just a quiet, peaceful setting surrounded by trails, pastures, and a lake. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay.
