To relax, there is a 3-person massage Jacuzzi under the veranda. The deposit for our house is €250. The area is ideal for peace seekers, hikers, cyclists and mountain bikers. In our beautiful fenced private garden, you will enjoy the many bird species.

You can stay in the front house of a monumental farmhouse. Located on the outskirts of the woods and only 2km from the picturesque village of Norg. The cultural village of Veenhuizen, Assen, Appelscha and Groningen are also within a stone's throw away. I will be happy to greet you and wish you a wonderful stay in advance!

Our guest house is located in a beautiful spot on the Hondsrug. Here you are surrounded by nature: ancient woods, sandy paths, rolling fields, squirrels, deer and a wide variety of birds. Within walking distance of the cozy Gieten with delicious fresh bread or a Gieterkoek at the bakery. Here you will find the supermarket and nice restaurants. By bike, you can reach the Drenthe state forests with the beautiful Gasselterveld, Boomkroonpad and ancient megalithic tombs.

Guesthouse "De Kraanvogel"

Guesthouse "De Cranvogel" The cozy log cabin can be found in the yard of a farmhouse and has its own driveway. Sheltered under a wooden wall, look out towards the Fochtelooërveen and in the beautifully maintained garden. During the summer, the view may be obstructed by the growth of corn or any other crop. The cabin contains a bedroom, bath and living room and the whole can be heated with a wood stove. You can make your own cup of coffee or tea in the log cabin.

In de winter zit je heerlijk knus binnen bij de houtkachel die de ruimte binnen no-time verwarmd. De tinyhouse is compact maar van alle gemakken voorzien!

You can use our large natural garden behind the house. It is wonderful to sit by the pond with the storks in the background.
