Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Assens

We had a great stay again. The location is quiet, close to the sea and the house is just cozy.

All good, nice little cosy converted barn with everything you need for a couple of days in the countryside. Beach and forest nearby!

We drove through one all of the rapids with a view of the water. The cottage is close to the water, where we could go swimming and throwing rocks in the water. The cottage has many cozy nooks with chairs, tables and sun loungers. The backyard has some really beautiful tall trees. The cottage has both inside and out a special spirit that the good and responsive hostess has created. The hostess Majbritt Røn is very cooperative and helpful. I can highly recommend this summerhouse. We'd love to come again❤️. Thanks to Majbritt Røn for borrowing the summerhouse to us. The summerhouse will forever be a memory that we hide deep in our hearts because my oldest daughter married her husband while we were in the summer house with the beautiful surroundings❤️.

We had a lovely stay in Marstal. This house was perfect for us, great location and very clean!

Great weekend in modern, bright house! Unbeatable value for money. The area is rather quiet and if you want to do something bigger (visit the city, canoe) you have to drive 20 minutes. Beach just around the corner and within walking distance.

What a beautiful oasis of peace! It was really an arrival and feeling good!! In the morning to sit in the sun with coffee, let the view over meadows and fields and listen to the birdsong - wonderful! The apartment is as beautiful as the pictures show it: delicately decorated, bright, generously sized and excellently equipped with everything you need to feel good. The numerous and versatile walking and hiking trails along the water (our flati especially swimming :-), over meadows and through forest we discovered with great joy! And we also thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful terrace as well as the garden with wonderful sundowner cookies! Gyde is a warm host. We felt how much she loves this place herself! Also, thanks for the many valuable tips. We will be happy to come back!

Great stay at Steffen's, the house is super nice, very bright and functional. The terrace with the view of the field with the cows is very relaxing. The exchanges with Steffen were very nice.

The house is exactly as described. Great location on the water with private path to the Flensburg Fjord. Beautiful hiking trail in front of the front door that leads along the water. In the house are all utensils for a nice stay. We really enjoyed the long weekend!

Our stay at the apartment Glücksand was great! Great apartment, very tastefully and cozily furnished and equipped with everything you need. Great location, in less than 5 minutes you will be on the beach of Glücksburg. Detlef was very accommodating and friendly. We would definitely come back again! :)

Charlotte has been a very nice hostess, a cheerful person who you can ask for advice at any time. Your dog and mine got along almost immediately :) I can really recommend the house to anyone who wants to switch off. We would be happy to come back. Best regards, David and Inka

Nice place to stay at!

We stayed with Lars and Gitte from Friday to Sunday - and it was a real pleasure! The apartment was fantastic and with lots of personality and coziness. All the details were taken care of, and we immediately felt at home. And the view! Being able to enjoy the morning coffee with the view of the water was completely magical - both inside and outside. Lars and Gitte are amazing hosts, and we would love to come back!

Very nice and big apartment with everything needed. Huge living room, small sleeping room with comfy bed. Great view of fields and sea from terrace. Quiet surroundings. 5min to Aabenraa by car. Easy self check-in.

Lovely and spacious apartment with everything you need. Fully equipped kitchen and a clean bathroom with a nice shower. The location is also great, all the sights are in walking distance. There is a carport located right on the property. Annie was a great host!

We felt very comfortable in the Holnis customs house - you can immediately tell that an architect and an interior designer had their hands in the pot. With a keen eye for beautiful details, cool vintage furniture, and a creative yet restrained interior style, the host has created a very special place of well-being. Just a few steps through the garden, past the small sauna cottage, you are right by the water. Although not a fine sandy beach, there are many large rocks for climbing, our children loved it. The kitchen is fantastically equipped and the house was above average clean! We will definitely visit again!

The house is comfortably furnished, clean and very dog-friendly. We felt very welcome. We spent wonderful days in her house and the surrounding area. Ingeborg is a lovely and uncomplicated hostess. We are happy to recommend her.

it was very easy to find the house, which was located in a quiet neighborhood and had a lovely view and sheltered garden. we thought the place was bigger than what the pictures gave the impression of, same with patio and garden. it was walking distance to shop and a great playground, there was also football and tennis opportunities nearby. it was a great beach that Poul recommended, it was only a short drive away. We were 4 adults and 4 children who cost us a lot here and can recommend both house and host😊

We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful house! The nice beach is a food walk of 10 minutes away. The house is very big and beautiful!

I liked Claus’s house. Specious living room, TV with multiple channels. Kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Nice outdoor area with furniture. Bedrooms with soft mattresses. Grocery stores in a walking distance. Everything you need to have a good time. And to our surprise we found out history of Jelling stones, Harald Bluetooth and “Bluetooth” logo meaning. :)

dejligt hus, en god weekend

This place is simply amazing. We rented the house (#1) and we couldn't have wished for more. The place is huge, yet cosy and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is so well equipped that we could have prepared Christmas Dinner if we wanted to. And there's a large garden with a private area. And what's more: Jørg and Sünne were perfect hosts. They are very friendly and helpful and easy to communicate with. Definitely a highlight for our kids was the permission to make a campfire. We most definitely recommend a stay here if you are planning to visit Ærø!

There were eight of us there and everyone had enough space, a great room and the garden is perfect for the kids! Lots of great play options! The house looks exactly like the pictures. We felt comfortable right from the start. The hosts are super nice and happy to help. We will be happy to come back!😊

We had the most wonderful Ascension weekend at Vestergaard with Kirsten as host. It all went super easy. The house is very charmingly renovated and with many good rooms, where you can easily sleep many. The kitchen is well equipped and everything works as it should. Vestergaard is also very conveniently located if you have a car/bicycle with you. You are located in the middle of the island, so all edges of Ærø can be reached with short distance. Huge recommendation from here.
