Villa holiday rentals in Auckland

We stayed overnight on a golf trip and had plenty of room and bedding, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped for the preparation of our cooked breakfast. The house is situated in a good location within easy reach of 2 supermarkets and a number of restaurants. William the host communicated well and we had clear instructions. If looking so stay in Whangārei again in the future we would definitely stay here again.

from start to finish this place kept on surprising us with details and deligbtful extras. as someone who notices detail, the scrumptious linen and towels, the kitchen additions could.plete with cake mixer and the best fridge and copper extras....mini treats in the decadent lounge and the ribbon on the keys....it was just all so delightful done with clearly an abundant heart wanting guests to have the very best experience. Robyn and Bruce welcomes us with open arms literally, despite us being held up and showed us around ck plate with history of this delightful place. gosb. hot to think of a reason to come back asap. thank you so much

As a group of 8 people we had a great time during summer here. The hosts were of great help when we had some “parking issues” with our trailer - they organized someone to pull us out of a ditch ;-) and that truly saved our vacation. That was amazing. Whatever was missing was quickly organized. Unfortunately an all-year fire ban on GBI meant we were not allowed to use the outdoor fire place, and since the nights get cold quickly we were looking forward to sitting in front of the outdoor fireplace in the evenings, which obviously did not happen. Also, the utility of the massive balcony is close to nil - it was either burning hot or freezing cold out there. In that regard, if you look at this place, consider that what you get is somewhat less than what you might expect from the pictures alone. Despite these drawbacks we would love to come back any time.

We absolutely loved this beautiful historic home and immediately felt relaxed and comfortable. The staff were extremely discreet but available if sought out. We were impressed with the access to chickens and consequent fresh eggs, and small vegetable garden. On arrival the home had every set of French doors thrown open. It was airy inviting and thoroughly enjoyed throughout our stay. The Fitzroy Port area is a little remote from the busier Southern part of the Island but with a rental vehicle this was not a problem,. and there are a number of walks available within the area to not require a vehicle should one use not to hire one. Food is expensive on Great Barrier and it is recommended to stock up and take supplies in a chilli bin with you. There is a store on the Fitzroy wharf which is well stocked however, should you run out of your supplies. The property also has a jetty of its own and can be booked and used to moor your boat should you arrive by sea.

Beautiful surroundings house is immaculate the area was perfect, would I book this property out again most definitely 😍. Stunning sea view as soon as you wake up loved everything about it, my family and myself enjoyed our stay was also surrounded by beaches close to property and surrounding areas. This place is amazing and beautiful. The house is very well maintained and as it looks in the pictures. The pool was clean and big and nice, hot tub was also great. The house is very spacious and has a great speaker system. Check in was easy and you truly have the entire estate to yourself. My only negative feedback was on the golf course. I booked this place so I could play golf and the course is unplayable. Still had fun hitting balls around but it’s not been well maintained. Also, the bbq wasn’t clean enough to cook on. Everything else was great.

The house is situated on top of a hill with a breathtaking view. Our families of 10 adults and 4 children spent four nights at the lodge. The house is like maze. Plenty of space for everyone. It's clean, fresh linen and towels and reliable wifi. The kitchen is very well equipped to cater for large groups. The outdoor BBQ and pizza oven were a bonus. Plenty of things for the kids too i.e. trampoline, table tennis, throwing darts and toys. Great communication from the host Daniel. He sent clear and easy to follow instructions a few days before our arrival. We want to go back again and would definitely recommend this place.

We had a 6 day family Christmas Holiday here and it couldn't have been nicer. Daniel and Angela met us when we arrived and explained the various systems such as pool, TV, internet, etc. They were available nearby in case we needed them (which turned out we did not), but did not intrude in our privacy. The actual facilities were even nicer than the photos and descriptions provided in the AirBnB listing. One of the special things about this home displayed was the care and art that the hosts have put into it. Everything is amazing. It is ultra-private and it seems as if you are alone in the forest overlooking a beautiful valley. The view from the upstairs master suite is awesome. Our two grandkids spent hours each day in this nice, clean, warm pool. The pool - patio area was well done and relaxing for lounging between swims. . I would HIGHLY recommend this property and hosts.

Five adults and six children had a wonderful weekend in Mangawhai, using Carolynn's house as our base. There was plenty of space for everyone to find their own corner, both inside and out. The kitchen was big enough for several cooks to work in at once and the dining table was big enough for us to all sit around so mealtimes were a treat, not a chore. Amazing view to the east, including sunrise across water and moonscape sand dunes. The spa at the end of the day was a special treat for our family, as was the large TV screen in the lounge. We missed a few books and board games but everything else was in good supply. Thank you for a special long weekend with my family Carolynn.

A beautiful house in a beautiful location. It was clean, had a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and sofa's. The living spaces for our group of 9 women was perfect. We loved our time here and will definitely be back.

I cannot say enough about how beautiful Gill's home is. The surroundings are so beautiful, short drive into town where you can find everything your looking for. Gill is such a wonderful and kind host, if you have a chance to visit her home, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for making my son's wedding so special, so lucky to have met such a amazing woman.

This is a very special place. Ponsonby and its spunky cafés right around the corner, yet totally private and quite. The appartment is large, open, bright. Interior done with great taste and care. The terrace, the Auckland skyline, hard to beat. Carl is professional, friendly and circumspect, wonderful host.

Had a great stay. Super helpful, easy and responsive communication. We had to swap unit as ours hadn’t been cleaned when we arrived, but they gave us a nice bottle of wine and a discount and the swap was super easy. So top service! Thanks Chillux.

What an amazing and Beautiful home, so many things to do, from pool table, pinball machine , big movie projector where it was so relaxing with the kids to snuggle in front of fire place. Daisy is of the best Host I have come across, so responsive to all messages, also she is very accommodating to requests we asked of her. Definitely recommend Daisy beautiful home to anyone who is looking for a place with all ammenities, feel real homely inside & even outdoors with pool & spa , trampoline for children & swing, big lawn outside where kids or family groups can run freely. We had a fantastic family holiday at Jeff’s place - such a spacious place in a peaceful rural setting with a lovely heated pool and conveniently located to everything Aucklands north shore has to offer.

Abi's home is a period style gem in a great neighbourhood. It is a particularly stylish house that also manages to hit that sweet spot of a very being comfortable and relaxing. The rooms are spacious and the living space is great, especially with the doors rolled back to make use of the outdoor deck. Being summertime in NZ, we took full advantage of the swimming pool, spending hours at a time chilling out there. The neighbourhood is perfectly located, with a supermarket and very appealing cafes and parks just a block away. Even better, it is only a 10 minute walk to the high street in Ponsonby where everything you could want is located in terms of shops, bars & restaurants. The kitchen is great and really well set up with everything you would need to cook a big family dinner which is exactly what we enjoyed. Abi was very gracious in all of her communications with us, being very flexible to our travel arrangements. This is the perfect stay in Auckland, with everything you need to either stay in and enjoy the space or get out and stuck into the cafe culture of Auckland.

Beautiful home & perfect to get ready for my wedding day. Bins were full on arrival, but we left our rubbish outside next to bins which was fine :) would come back again.

Our family Christmas at Nikky’s was made very special by a wonderfully equipped kitchen and space for everyone. She made us feel welcome and was always available to respond to any questions. The location is a private and quiet suburban area just 15min walk to the local park and waterfront which suited us perfectly. Thank you so much! 😊
