We loved this beautiful apartment, large bedroom and bathroom with great wooden ceilings. Lots of character with beautiful fixtures and fittings. Very comfortable bed. Great powerful and hot shower. Lots of lovely toiletries available to use together with some food and drinks supplied. Such a lovely touch to our stay. Shared balcony was great to sit on and have breakfast and drinks later on. Situated in a fabulous spot in Ortigia, right in the heart of everything, lots of bars and restaurants yet very quiet apartment. Host responds quickly to any questions.

The apartment is a light bright airy home, well appointed with pretty much everything you could want for a comfortable stay. The washing machine is available for an additional cost of €35 per week. A particular highlight of the property is the south facing veranda and pretty garden which cleverly provides both sunshine and shade at all times of the day with breathtaking sea views. The only disappointment was that the near-by swimming spot was not as described. The coast line is indeed 150m from the property but the sea is not accessable at this point. We watched some people clambering over rocks and boulders for about 200m to get to the steps down to the sea. Unfortunately this was not possible for us at our age and level of fitness. If you're young and fit it may not be a problem for you. Why 5 stars? The property is in such an idilic peaceful location. Sitting with your morning coffee or evening glass of wine, on the veranda, looking out to sea, you can't help falling in love.

We had a wonderful stay at Antonino and Morena's property, of exceptional beauty. At the end of a private flowered path, in the beautiful Sicilian countryside, you will find the porch of a superb stone house, on a huge and very private courtyard of Masseria. The house is full of charm, with all the modern comforts, very well appointed, and with a splendid terrace with sea views, and a shaded garden. The lighting, in the evening, adds a very romantic touch to the whole. What a beautiful place, with a soul and a very touching poetry. Morena has given us multiple delicate touches and... we are already planning our next trip❤️.

I would this property. Very clean, as described. Armando is responsive and always available for any questions and inquiries. Great view from the terrace with the pool which is a plus after or before a good day of sightseeing

A huge, well-kept house in a phenomenal natural setting.

We absolutely loved our six-night stay at the Calabernardo beach apartment. The unit was clean and well-organized with a spacious private patio. The host was friendly and responded quickly to any questions. Ceiling fans and windows kept the apartment cool, and we never used the air conditioner. Most of all, the location was amazing. We enjoyed beautiful sunrise over the water each morning. The apartment fronts a quiet sand and reef beach, which we enjoyed daily. Having a clothes washer and outdoor shower was nice too. The apartment is a short drive from the cute beach town Lido di Noto. There we found a great public beach, restaurants and groceries. Everyone we met was friendly. We can't wait to go back!

The place is exactly as described, everything new and well cared for, snacks and drinks are provided, as well as soaps and soaps. We were made to find a camping bed and high chair as we requested, nothing was really missing. Slightly "outside" the center but we reached everything very comfortably on foot. Directions were quick and accurate. We definitely recommend it.

The accomodation was perfectly, spacious and with a parking spot, inside of the yard. This was a big plus. Thank you, Carmelo!

Highlights • Excellent central location near the fish market, restaurants, and nightlife. • Clean, comfortable, well-equipped apartment, very comfortable beds, hot water will run out if you have consecutive showers of three or more. • Livio is an outstanding host who provided helpful recommendations and support throughout the stay. He followed up and checked in regularly to make certain we were comfortable. Considerations • Nightlife noise between 12-4 AM may disturb light sleepers. • Limited bathroom counter space for six guests (manageable but worth noting). • Parking is challenging through out Catania so this was a minor thing considering: a shared, uncovered patio about 800 meters away is available, but it requires precise maneuvering (parking with the back bumper against the wall). A Peugeot 5008 can fit, but a minivan would be too large. Overall Excellent stay. We strongly recommend this apartment and would stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay! The apartment is very big and spacious. Great layout of the rooms. The balconies are a dream. Great host. The place is easy to reach and perfect starting point for great excursions in the area. We will be happy to come back.

The apartment, or rather a huge apartment, is impressive, clean, tidy, quiet neighborhood and this view from the terrace to the sea and Etna is impressive. A good starting point for visiting Catania and the east coast of Sicily. The only thing missing was a dishwasher in the kitchen, although this in no way affects the positive assessment of the apartment and the host, I recommend it with a clear conscience.

We had a lovely four nights , and knew it would likely be noisy because of being close to the market, but had not thought about the possibility of smells from restaurant’s air conditioning- we got used to that but I think I am especially sensitive to smells unfortunately! We found a wonderful swimming place five minutes walk away with rocks to sunbathe on and clear water protected from the open sea by large blocks under the sea.A very enjoyable stay improved by Anna’s suggestions , and providing swimming towels as well as extra bath towels during our stay. She also offered for us to stay Saturday late but unfortunately we had to get a plane at midday. Thank you Anna,

Everything as per the description but one point worth noting. The internet access was outstanding. Basically 800 mb down and 300 mb down. Absolutely fantastic connection is you're having a working vacation and need access to video meetings and large files.

“La Casa di Nonna” yields a postcard-perfect view of the seaside harbor in Catania and Mt. Aetna to the northwest. The rooftop deck was perfect for us to sit and enjoy the sights and sounds of the boatyard and city. Carmelita offers convenient furnishings throughout the rooms. There is easy access to the entry door from street parking. The apartment was perfect size for two couples traveling through this region.

Andrea & Daria were great hosts. Our Italian is fairly poor, so it was great to have hosts with great English skills to tell us about the area, their farm, talk about Sicily, help enjoy our time in the region and book us into great restaurants (Andrea even helped us deal with an unfortunate dodgy credit card drama involving a rental car company). Our room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. For us the stay was not really about the accommodation as such (which was great), rather it was that we had great experiences sharing. Andrea had a pizza night and involved us in the experience (great to see the oven and kitchen in action). Andrea is a true B&B host, seems to love sharing, talking and helping guests. I think that is the key to what makes B&B Vinciucci so great. Plus breakfast was pretty awesome as well :)

We loved our stay at Tiziana's place! It was such a BEAUTIFUL property with lovely accommodations. Tiziana was super responsive and helpful and very accommodating of our schedule. We would recommend to anyone hoping to explore Siracusa (~20 minutes) or Catania (~20 minutes).

The room was exactly as shown in the picures. We staues for one night in mid july. Ragusa Ibla is a cute romantic Spot with beautiful views, good restaurants and surprisingly not crowded. Had a great Stay at Emilio’s place. Would definetly come back!

Roberto was immediately friendly and provided us with numerous tips and advice for spending unforgettable days. Roberto is an exquisite person, the apartment is very nice with a sea view, comfortable bed, private parking, pebble beach in the immediate vicinity and breakfast with a sea view. We spent a really pleasant weekend at the B&B Risveglio Ibleo, warmly welcomed by Mrs. Ondina and Mr. Vincenzo. From the first moment we felt at home: the hospitality was impeccable, sincere and attentive to every detail. The B&B's location is perfect, just a stone's throw from the Cathedral. The apartment we stayed in was very clean, very spacious and equipped with every comfort. A significant plus: the possibility of parking right in front of the structure, a very convenient detail. But the real heart of the experience was the breakfast: abundant, varied, prepared with love by the family and served on a private and quiet terrace. Mr. Vincenzo explained each dish to us with passion, also giving us a small glimpse of their life and local tradition. An authentic and genuine moment that we will carry in our hearts. Highly recommended for those looking not only for a nice place to sleep, but a warm experience!

Our stay in Catania was gorgeous. The apartment is in an old baroque palace. It has a great location, just 200 meters from Piazza del Duomo, so you can easily and safely go the old town even during the evening/night. Our host was very responsive. It is really worth staying at that place.

Staying at Marta's beautiful, modern house was just fantastic. The rooms were clean and stylishly furnished, and the pool offered a perfect way to refresh in the picturesque surroundings. Every morning there was a delicious breakfast, lovingly prepared by Marta and Fabio. The landscape around the house is breathtaking and invites you to relax and discover. Marta was super friendly, communication was quick and straightforward. I am particularly grateful for the many helpful tips and suggestions to explore the area. I will definitely return!
