Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Australasia

So comfy and warm, this is a wonderful place to experience Tasmania's south. Louella's home sits on a small rise overlooking the Verona Sands beach, and this view changes continually with the weather, daylight and tide. At night, the stars are amazing. The home itself is comfy and cosy. We stayed in May, and the air con and fireplace meant we were always warm. Beds are great with lovely linen sheets, and one bedroom has a window seat for quiet book reading. The beach is so close and an easy walk, as is another walk along the coast starting in the reserve next door. Cygnet is 20 minutes away with its cafes, galleries, shops and grocers - all of high quality, and if you'd like lunch at a winery, Home Hill is a 40 minute drive. So good we lunched there twice. The kitchen is fully equiped, and while the oven is a bit tricky to operate, there are instructions and Louella is a phone call away. A great place to turn off the world and relax. (well just a bit, the wifi is great!)

Absolutely stunning views, you walk outside the sliding doors that overlooked the pool and it is breathtaking. The house was in very clean condition. I was able to take my children to the stables that’s on the property to feed the horses, donkeys and dogs. The kangaroos came to the front of the property each morning. Honestly a 10/10. Hosts were very helpful too, were super responsive and helped me find a private chef that came out to the property. Thanks again

Sadly only a quick one night stay but we loved every minute. Jacqueline has thought of everything and kitchen is well stocked to cook a great meal. We were happy sitting outside to eat & relax and enjoyed the butterflies & birdlife. Looking forward to a return visit, just needs to be longer. Thanks Jacqueline

We had a wonderful stay at Quarry Hill Lookout. The house was incredibly well-stocked, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed and more. There were plenty of books and games that kept our family entertained throughout the trip. I especially enjoyed the coffee machine, which quickly became part of my morning routine and a calming start to each day. One thing that really stood out was the thoughtful placement of clear, specific instructions around the house. Whether it was using the fire heater or operating the coffee maker, everything was meticulously explained to make our stay easy and enjoyable. The indoor heating worked very well and kept us warm and comfortable. There was also a large area for parking, which made it very convenient. Nicola was a super friendly and thoughtful host who made us feel right at home. Highly recommended!

It's actually magical, we felt like home. Sean and Vuong are great host. Everything is well thought, and the location is absolutely beautiful.

This was the first time we went to a Winter Holiday with the family. Elbert was ABSOLUTELY stunning from inside out. Kate has really hit the nail on the head with everything, from cleanliness, to design, to the homely feeling, all the way down to surprising us with little gifts, and snacks. I honestly don't think I will enjoy a Winter getaway without staying at Elbert, it really made our experience even more enjoyable. Will definately be back. Thank you so much Kate & Jeremy.

Lovely getaway! We really enjoyed our relaxing mid week stay - lots of walking, sitting by the fire, and the home was comfy and spotless. Definitely would agree that you should pack your cheese platters and most meals for ease. Would love to come back again soon!

We had a wonderful stay at this cosy little place for our long weekend staycation. The home was super cute and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The bed was incredibly comfortable and warm, so we slept very well! We especially loved the fire pit which was perfect for enjoying a hot chocolate under the stars (the marshmallows provided were to die for). The heated bathroom (as well as the luxury bath linen) was such a bonus and made getting out of the shower so much nicer on chilly mornings. Her guidebook and local recommendations were perfect, and we discovered some great restaurants that we wouldn’t have found otherwise. And meeting her adorable fur babies was such a treat! Would absolutely stay again.

Michelle is the best hostess I've come across in a long while. The kitchen was well equipped, even down to a box of bandaids! Everything was so comfortable and the location is great for everything you want to do on the Penninsula. We'll definitely return. Thank you!

Excellent cabin, had everything we needed. Hosts were very responsive to all of my questions. Nice and cozy and warm with the air conditioning , extra blankets and having a fire pit under the starlight was very heartwarming. Great location, 8mins to the centre of Jindy. The lake is also walkable from your cabin which was quite picturesque.

Overall a nice place to stay. Peter was super responsive and he replace the shampoo immediately when I told him it ran out.

My favourite AirBnb we've ever stayed at! Convenient location, incredible view over the ocean, cozy vibe. The house was also well stocked with everything we could need, which made a huge difference. We hope to be back soon!

Maria's Little Gem is just that, a little gem. Everything you could want for a quiet overnight or a long stay. It's a short distance from Bowral CBD which is nice to have the quiet :)

Friendly host, homely place with clean and comfortable bed linens, overall spacious and kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the olive oil tasting!

Medlow Bath is a fantastic, peaceful location near to Leura, Katoomba and Blackheath. Denise was a wonderful host and provided us with many recommendations for the area. The space was quiet and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great stay – the place was clean, comfortable, and matched the description. Communication was smooth, and check-in was easy. It had everything we needed.

Came for a switch off reading week and the property was absolutely perfect for exactly that. So many spots (couches, day bed, hammock, outdoor seating) to relax and read with the sounds and sights of birds and nature around. The kitchen was big and had everything we needed to cook. The fire kept us toasty in winter weather. Justine kindly gave us a heads up about an early morning moon set that we’d be able to see from the property which created a memorable 6am experience for us to cherish. Drove to the nearby National Park and did a hike down to Blowhole Beach which was lovely with incredible views, although prepare to be tired on the way back up!! We had a great experience staying at this peaceful and cozy cabin! The space was extremely clean, well-maintained, and felt very comfortable throughout our stay. It’s tucked away in a quiet, secluded area, which made it perfect for unplugging and relaxing away from the hustle and bustle. It rained and was cloudy for most of our trip, which added a certain charm to the stay—even if we didn’t get as much sunshine as we hoped for. There were a few brief power outages during the heavier storms, but nothing too disruptive. Just something to be aware of depending on the season you’re visiting. One thing to note: the cabin is quite isolated, so unless you have a scooter or car, there’s really nothing walkable nearby. We had transportation, so it wasn’t an issue for us, but it’s worth keeping in mind for planning purposes. On a fun note, we met a super friendly dog on the property who made us smile every time he came by—such a sweet little surprise! Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable

We had a wonderful time at Serendip Shack! The place is stunning and the sunrise flooding in through the bedroom was really something special as well as the kangaroos greeting us every morning. We loved the outdoor shower - especially in the rain and the big outdoor bath tub is something we aspire to have on our own property one day. 5 stars for this perfect long weekend getaway!

Juniper Grove is absolutely beautiful! The perfect place to get away from the city, and reconnect with nature, and yourself. Chloe is a very attentive, thoughtful, and caring host.
