Charming boathouse at the waterfront

Welcome to our newly purchased boathouse on idyllic Vassøy – a small and quiet island just a short boat ride from Stavanger city center. Here you literally live by the sea, surrounded by beautiful nature and with access to the beach, hiking trails and local shop. We have recently taken over this boathouse and are looking forward to sharing it with our first guests. The place is perfect for couples, small families or friends who want a quiet break from everyday life – with sea air, simple comfort and proximity to nature.

Gamlahuset by the sea - near Stavanger

"Gamlahuset" from around 1880 is rented out. The house is located on a small courtyard in Gardsvågen on Talgje, 100 meters from the lake. Here there is a beach, and there are hiking trails around almost the entire island. From Gardsvågen it is 1 km to the speedboat dock. From here it is 20-50 min by speedboat to Stavanger. It is 35 minutes by car to Stavanger city center. At Talgje there are also opportunities for frisbee golf and sauna rental (Anker Gaard) and there is a sand volleyball court 1 km from the house.

Beautiful cabin by the sea in Sokn, Stavanger

Great and small summer cottage with closed winter garden, almost at the edge of the lake at Sokn Camping. Lovely view over the fjord, 180 degrees. The cabin was completed in 2022. Here you will find a large jumping pad, football pitch, volleyball court, playground equipment, kiosk and restaurant with all rights. Only a short drive of 15-20 min to Stavanger and 50 min to Kongeparken. 55 minutes to Pulpit Rock parking. Guests can rent canoes and kayaks at the campsite. Campsite quiet hours: 11 pm - 7 am

The cabin has a great location in rural and peaceful surroundings, with beautiful nature and many nice hiking opportunities just outside the door. Velkommen til Fjordbris! Her kan du få en overnatting i det naturskjønne området Dirdal med en uforglemmelig utsikt. Med kun noen få meter til fjorden får en nesten opplevelsen av å sove i vannet. Alt av fasiliteter er tilgjengelig enten i minihuset eller i kjelleren til butikken Dirdalstraen Gardsutsalg like ved. Gårdsutsalget ble i 2023 og 2025 kåret til Norges beste gårdsbutikk og er en liten attraksjon i seg selv. Rett ved siden finner du en badstue som kan bookes med like god utsikt.

Åmøy er også et godt utgangspunkt om en ønsker å besøke kjente steder som Utstein Kloster, Prekestolen, Sola strendene, Ørnhaug besøksgård, Kongeparken osv.

Boathouse by the lake in Sokn, Stavanger

The boathouse is brand new and part of the seaside house environment towards Soknasundet. There is a jetty with fishing opportunities. Buildings and furniture are made by the renowned architect Espen Surnevik. If you come by boat there is plenty of room for the boat at the jetty. The boathouse is part of Sokn Gard (see fb) which has many animals you can visit, and the farm has 5 km of hiking trails.

Welcome to our family cabin. You can enjoy the nice view over the Lysefjord, special from the terrace. It is just a few minutes from the see, where you can take a bath. The cabin has a perfect location for a lot of hikings in the area: Preikestolen, Flørli, Kjerag and a lot of other places. It is only a few minutes by car to the Forsand quay, and departures for Flørli and Lysebotn.
