Woodland Cabin - Margot Bed & Breakfast

Our cozy cabin comprises of 3 small separate buildings set in private woodland next to a 200 year old poplar tree & a gentle rocky stream clattering in the background. The cabin is essentially off-grid meaning the water comes from the stream originating the “chalambelle” on the Ardeche plateau. There is electricity, hot water, shower, a compost toilet and a wood-burner. It is suitable for 2 people. Breakfast is included and brought to you in the morning. Dinner can also be arranged onsite.

"Le Coeur de Marguerite" has been converted into a cottage in the heart of the Combrailles in an old barn. On the ground floor you will find a pleasant living space with access to the kitchen area and the bathroom, upstairs, a sleeping area with beds in alcoves. This accommodation is close to the Sioule (at the bottom of the property), the Queuille meander, Châteauneuf-les-Bains and its thermal baths, Vulcania in the Chaine des Puys and many other possibilities for visits and activities.

Close to all amenities, no need to rent a vehicle for your shopping or to go to the beach, everything is on site. The house is 90 m2 in duplex with a 30 m2 terrace overlooking the sea. Ideally located 5 minutes from Nevers and surrounded by 1500 ha of Amognes state forest directly accessible on foot. Calm and nature predominate in this preserved place out of time.
