A lovely cottage with idyllic surroundings. Very peaceful, right in the heart of the Morvan with an abundance of walks nearby. The dogs loved their break just as much as we did!

We booked for 8 people to celebrate our 60th birthday together and enjoy 4 days in a peaceful and green place. Beautiful region. Very nice home. Clean. Very well equipped in each room. Necessary in every respect. No neighbors. Very good Bedding. Very comfortable living room. Garden lounge areas, garden table area, BBQ, swimming pool turned on 2 days before the scheduled date to be nice to us… DAVE and DEBBYE are very attentive. I highly recommend this listing! The cottage is very atmospheric with its historic natural stone floor, natural stone staircase, ceiling beams, etc., a journey through time, yet at the same time with extremely tasteful current furniture and equipment ripe for "beautiful living". Details such as the kitchen equipment - cookware and sharp knives in good quality - prevent typical travel situations from arising in the first place. Naomi is helpful and communicative, as an English native speaker also for international audiences who have difficulty with French. Not only we, but also our two dogs felt very comfortable.

Beautiful and peaceful setting by the river. Great garden for the dogs plus kayak and paddle boards to explore the river for longer stays. Cecile accommodated an earlier check in which was very much appreciated. It's a shame we didn't have longer to explore the area.

Beautiful little house in a village close to Avallon. The house is very well-equipped and has a lot of charm. Sylvie and Patrick were lovely. They went out of their way to find us a nurse that my husband needed. We had a more than nice stay in Usy despite mixed weather. We recommend eyes closed.

Behice's house is ideal for a stay with friends or family. There's nothing missing. It is impeccable and perfectly equipped (everything is provided for everyone (babies, children, adults). In addition, it is very well placed in relation to activities and visits. Finally, it is an excellent value for the price. I would highly recommend it.

Very good stay of several nights in a quiet place. Well-equipped and functional accommodation, clean. Comfortable bedding. Very large landscaped and peaceful garden. Very nice Jacuzzi, especially at the end of the day, already ready for our arrival. Several lakes nearby for beautiful walks, swimming and water activities. Avallon 15 minutes by car and Quarré les Tombes 10 minutes with a convenience store open every day. I highly recommend this quiet accommodation with very good value for money.

Air bnb had beautiful views and was in walking distance to everything in town. The host gave us great recommendations and we ended up having a wonderful dinner at biztro highly recommend! We had some water issues with the shower, but the host said she would look into it!

Catherine was a very lovely and responsive host who always did her best to make us feel welcomed and feel right at home. Her cosy accommodation is a fantastic location to explore the quaint little town of Beaune. She was very accommodating and provided me with a lot of good recommendations and help while planning my visit. The accommodation is full of amenities and had everything we needed during our stay. The decoration was very cute as well! We hope to have the chance to visit Beaune one day and to stay at her apartment again in the future. 😊

The lock house of Urs is a true insider tip for all those who seek peace, nature and warm hospitality. The location is fantastic: surrounded by forest and canal and with the sound of the lock in the background, you immediately feel like you have arrived and slowed down. Urs is a very friendly and helpful host. Thanks to his many tips, we were able to discover the region in a special way. In his small boutique, we were also able to get to know some regional specialties. The accommodation is ideal for switching off and recharging. At the same time, the area offers numerous excursion possibilities. We enjoyed the days very much and can recommend the lock house without reservation. Thank you, Urs – we'd love to come back!
