Family-friendly holiday rentals in Avalon

It was great resort for my family vacation. The only thing is that my cellphone couldn’t get the signal from our villa, maybe it was the problem with T mobile.

Amazing resort and very well functioning apartment. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again.

We loved our stay at Roya’s home. First, the home is lovely and is in an amazing area. We loved how walkable it was to coffee shops, restaurants, a grocery store, etc. The outside patio with the fire pit and the large amount of seating was great. My husband and I were with our 2 daughters (ages 24 and 27) and their spouse and significant other. The 3 bedrooms each with an en suite bathroom was perfect. Personally we loved that the lights turned off (only during the daytime and only after 2 hours). Seems like a great way to conserve some energy if they aren’t needed and if they are needed it is easy enough to turn them back on. I would love to have them in our home! We also enjoyed the tile throughout the updated, upscale home. So much easier to keep clean. We found Roya to be very helpful and leave very detailed instructions. We also loved the local art she had on the 2nd floor. It truly is a lovely home in a great area. I recommend it highly and can’t wait to return.

Loved the space, having two bedrooms was perfect, the living space was a good size, and the kitchen was well-appointed. The balcony is wide and has a beautiful view of the whole harbor, with two seating areas (including an umbrella), and a grill. The washer/dryer right outside the unit was very helpful. The harbor-facing bedroom does get a lot of sun in the morning and, though the windows have full shades, I’d recommend a sleep mask (I slept great). The golf cart was indispensable and reliable though as other reviewers mentioned it’s been around the block a bit and can be clunky to operate. We messaged Tom once with an appliance issue (entirely due to our own ignorance; nothing wrong with it!) and he immediately responded. Check in and check out were straightforward. Would definitely stay here again.

Lamont and the staff were so friendly with great tips on things to do around the island. The property is breathtaking & steps away from the private beach, pool and gym. The golf cart included with the condo was seriously a lifesaver we explored the entire island with ease and sits 6 people. Bring a portable speaker for music on the go. The entire condo is pure luxe & so quiet and peaceful. The shower and kitchen design are my favorites- simply beautiful. Felt right at home!

Our stay exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and organized. Had all the “ extras” needed for a family getaway.

Perfect location for visiting downtown/shoreline and waking to 2nd street. Conveniently close to grocery store & restaurants. Neighborhood is peaceful and made sitting on the patio very relaxing. A lovely place to visit with our siblings!

Five stars, 100%, A+! If you have the chance to stay here at Tonya’s beach cottage, don’t miss it! Perfectly appointed, clean & spare but warm and welcoming design and furnishings. Darling neighborhood with lovely walkable streets and a flower-lined pedestrian bridge leading to the beach a short 10 min walk away. And Tonya’s hospitality is truly a gift that she enjoys sharing with others!!! Gorgeous charcuterie board and a bottle of chilled wine were waiting for us upon arrival. And, by some magical combo of a lovely mattress, crisp cool sheets and ocean air, I experienced truly great sleep! Thank you so much Tonya!

Jay’s place was a perfect spot on Newport Peninsula. We walked everywhere ! Beach only 5 min walk down the street. We loved it was right across the street from Pavilions grocery, lots of places to eat and also Lido Marina! Location perfect, clean, lots of space, loved the 3 bedrooms & 2 baths and big kitchen! We will be back for sure! Great spot for my family! Thank you Jay! 🌟👏🙌❤️😘

This is our second stay with Bill and we hope to stay again in the future. It's a great little spot with so much stuff to do within walking distance. Very clean, well stocked and a great space for us, 4 people one dog. Our dog loves the place as much as we do. Nice doggy door and patio area. Close to a dog beach and a beautiful neighborhood to walk around in. Highly recommended this place and Bill is a wonderful host.

We absolutely loved our stay at Margaret’s place! The location is perfect…2 blocks to Main Street and 2 blocks to the beach. Very easy to get in, and we loved having a garage parking spot for our car. We used the bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs, and beach towels, which made for a lovely stay near the beach. We would definitely recommend this place, and will hopefully be back in the future!!

This place was amazing! Perfect for a fam or group of friends! Clean and very comfortable and modern! Only thing would be the check-in /check-out times being earlier/later. Other than that, amazing location and place. Would stay here again and recommend to anyone! The beach chairs and bikes also saved us lots of money

Perfect spot for a quiet family weekend in the off season. It’s an easy walk to the beach. Recommend an early morning walk or run on the boardwalk. The place has everything we needed and the two patios are great for getting either sun or shade.

The house was very comfortable. We were busy and couldn't enjoy the games or the TV (so cool) as much as we would have liked to. Used the boogie boards and spike ball and beach pass, which was great. Beautifully decorated and homey. We cooked on the large stove/grill and there were all the spices, oils, etc, that we could want. Only 2 miles to Trader Joe's...very handy. Dori is very nice and we look forward to visiting again. Thank you for opening your home to us.

Kim was very responsive through the app and email. Allowing early use of the cart and letting us drop off our bags early were thoughtful. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place

Elizabeth's place was great! Everything was a described and Elizabeth was great to work with. She was very communicative and helpful before and during our stay. The place was amazing as well. Great amenities, great location and plenty of space for my family. I will definitely be booking with Elizabeth again.

We have been staying at Marriott Newport Coast Villas for years. It is a beautiful family oriented resort close to Orange County’s est beaches, restaurants and malls. Can’t go wrong !

Wonderful stay — highly recommend! I had a great experience staying at this Airbnb. The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was convenient and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The host was responsive, friendly, and made check-in super easy. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay.

The host, Beth, is extremely responsive and a great communicator. She added my wife to the discussion so that we would both be informed. The Casita is great with easy parking and central in the resort. We would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay at Terranea as you have all of the resort amenities that you would receive by booking through the resort directly.

Mikey's place was great! his communication was spot on. The location and surroundings are beautiful. More than enough space for our group of 6. The resort like amenities were perfect. Will come back whenever we are back in this area.
