Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Avalon

This place was exactly as advertised. We spent hours sitting outside in the yard relaxing during our stay which is exactly what we'd hoped for. The location was perfect: right near the beach and restaurants but in a quiet community. I'd love to stay here again.

April was amazing!! Super helpful and the place was just perfect. If we stop by this way again we are definitely going to rent this place out. Pictures don’t do it justice and it is perfect for walking to the beach, shopping or just grilling outside.

David was an amazing host and very attentive to detail. His place was beautiful and very clean. He made sure we had everything we needed and was very communicative. The apartment is right next to the beach and in a quiet Neighborhood. I definitely recommend this place and will be returning soon.

Yvonne was responsive and no issues checking in. Provided clear instructions and responded right away when I had a couple of questions. The property itself was as described. It is nothing fancy, but had everything we needed for a short beach vacation and a good value! Really appreciated having chairs, beach towels and boogie boards available as well as the wagon to put everything in. It is very walkable to the beach (~10 mins.), though you can drive to beach parking lot in 2 mins. They charge $15 for the day. The kitchen was well equipped, and appliances were clean. Bathroom very small, but clean. It was nice to have the charcoal grill, but would be easier for travelers with a propane grill. Overall, my son's and I really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at the house again!

Perfect spot for our needs. Walking distance to beach, restaurants, grocery, and shops yet secluded and private. Darla was super helpful and responsive and helped make our first trip to the area a good experience.

The Starfish Cottage exceeded my expectations! Super cute and cozy, great location, and hosts were friendly and responsive. I really appreciated all the thoughtful details they put into the space, from providing a few snacks, to having blankets to use outside on a cool night. I will definitely look to book this property again if I am ever in the area.

Michael was very responsive leading up to the stay and during the stay. Definitely one of the coolest hosts we’ve had! The home was not only clean, but very well put together! The ladies loved the decorations & layout! If you’re a dog lover, this is above & beyond the place for you! This property will be the 1 & only place we stay at when visiting the area! This place is exactly what it says in the description. It is not a fancy place, but a very functional place and exactly what we need for the weekend.

We had a great time in Catalina, and staying at Mark’s house made the experience even better. The home is cozy, well-equipped, and made us feel very comfortable. My family and I truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

Our favorite things about this Airbnb as a family of 5 was 1) location in middle of town 2) room configuration. Everyone had a bed. Lots of room for their spaces. We make a lot of meals and the kitchen had everything.

I was in Catalina with a group of friends for a SCUBA trip, and the Big Blue House was perfect for what we needed. There were plenty of beds for us to spread out, the kitchen was well stocked for us to cook meals in-house, and the location was right in the center of everything. Allison (the Co-host) was very responsive and helpful with information, recommendations, etc. We had a great time and would definitely stay again!

The views from this property were absolutely stunning — we loved every moment! Jenny was an excellent communicator, always quick to respond and incredibly helpful. The place offers great privacy, a private beach, access to a beach club, kayak rentals, and a golf cart. The only downside was the door lock — it was difficult to open and often got stuck, which took up quite a bit of time. Should be an easy fix! Everything else was phenomenal!

You may have a life changing experience visiting Catalina staying at Brent’s location. It is truly special and it was worth every penny. Plan accordingly and use the resources given to you by Brent and the locals. 12/10

Great place to stay for a group - close to Avalon and the Vons

This is a wonderful place to stay on the island. You can easily take a taxi to and from the Airbnb. The taxis are stationed outside the ferry and will help you schedule a ride back when you are ready. The golf cart is wonderful and you absolutely need it to get down the hill. Beautiful view and the perfect amount of space. Very comfortable for two people and very much enjoyed it!

Blake is great host. Easy to communicate and quick response. House is clean and has balcony with beautiful view. And having golf cart he let us use was really helpful, we used for going to town and going around the island scenic route.

Our stay was everything we had hoped a more. The location was exactly what we wanted. The community is a 3 minute golf car ride away from Avalon. We enjoyed the pool, spa and the amazing views from the deck. We enjoyed being in Hamilton Cove, the setting made it seem like we were in our own little private island. The space was plenty big for our family of 6. We had 4 teenagers with us. 2 slept on their own individual sofa sleeper and the other two shared a queen bed, while the parents had their own master bed/ bath. There were plenty of bedding and covers. They supplied us with hotel size soap, shampoo and conditioner. The kitchen came equipped with all the essentials, including a collection of spices. There was a coffee maker, but we had to buy coffee grounds at the town Vons. The golf cart sat all 6 of us comfortably. It was so nice to have access to our own cart. Some of favorite activities we enjoyed were the aerial rope course and the helicopter tour of the island.

Kim was very responsive through the app and email. Allowing early use of the cart and letting us drop off our bags early were thoughtful. We would definitely stay here again.

There were a lot of stairs getting up so make sure to have good knees! The view was worth it! Very private and peaceful. Tom was always responsive and check-in was a breeze. Golf Cart was included was a plus!

Lamont and the staff were so friendly with great tips on things to do around the island. The property is breathtaking & steps away from the private beach, pool and gym. The golf cart included with the condo was seriously a lifesaver we explored the entire island with ease and sits 6 people. Bring a portable speaker for music on the go. The entire condo is pure luxe & so quiet and peaceful. The shower and kitchen design are my favorites- simply beautiful. Felt right at home!

The condo was exactly as shown and Blake is easily one of the most friendly and helpful hosts I've encountered and was responsive and accommodating when asked for assistance and information. Ideal condo for a comfortable family stay with no real negatives.
