Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Avarua

We decided to go with an Airbnb instead of a resort being a family. Was so pleased we did. The villa is so spacious and fitted our family perfectly. Couple minutes walk to the beautiful beach. Was perfect for snorkeling or just chilling. Rachael and Tom were great hosts. If we had any issues (which we didn't) we could call anytime. Miss 3 1/2 absolutely loved the pool.

Great place with a great view on the mountains! Muri lagoon south end was a 15min walk arriving at a nice, quiet cafe right at the beach. Our favorite spot Titikaveka (not even needed to bring a snorkel as you can just wade in and see amazing fish) was close (bus or car). That week in February was very hot and humid and we were cautious with mosquitos, so we closed doors ost of the time which made it a few times warm inside. Other than that the ventilation is great given the construction of the cabin and windows covered with mosquito nets. Amenities of the cabin are great, the bist is amazing! We had a superb week on Rarotonga!

Tama Is an amazing Host!! So well at communicating and always checking up on you even before you arrive to see how everything is or If you need anything and is super flexible with working around you. The Airbnb itself is absolutely beautiful, you feel at home (literally home away from home) it’s down a very private road and it’s a very private home! Can walk around in your toggies all day ! You are next to locals who are so friendly and will come over and say Hi but never invade your space, there dogs are so beautiful but shy my toddler loved them! I can’t flaw this place honestly, no mosquitoes inside no sort of creepy crawles just the beautiful sounds of trees blowing and chickens in the morning(The best kind of alarm). I highly recommend and we will be back! Tama your the man

This place is absolutely stunning. The location is amazing with a beautiful beach right out in front and a gorgeous double balcony to watch the sunsets. So peaceful and relaxing!! Made use of the outdoor water equipment and outdoor furniture. Would throughly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful 2 bed house. Constance’s consideration and thoughtfulness to our late arrival was so appreciated. Treats on arrival was the icing on the cake. Hope to return again x

Loved staying here. Would stay here again. Host was super responsive and helpful. The property is super close to the shop, restaurants, car/scooter hire and to lagoon.

We enjoyed our stay in Rarotonga at Addrienne's Air bnb. Firstly was greeted by Tama at the airport and we followed him back to the house. So was a smooth checkin. It was very peaceful, beautiful scenery over looking the airport and ocean. Rooms were very spacious, big kitchen, out door area was great and the pool.was a bonus with the hot and humid weather. Bambam and Evie were such beautiful dogs and were very placid and enjoyed the company. They would always greet you in the morning or when you return home. Overall we all had a fantastic stay and definetly would recommend it.

If you’re planning a trip to Rarotonga I highly recommend staying at Sharon’s. Located right on a beautiful beach and walking distance or a short bus ride to Muri where there is a beautiful lagoon and lots of restaurants. The house was beautiful and clean, and lots of touches like plenty of filtered water left for us which was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately we didn’t get to use the kayaks whilst we were there as the sea was rough after a storm, but I would definitely stay there again just so we could kayak and explore the reef off the property. Our little one loved wandering down to the beach in the evenings to look for crabs. The kitchen had everything we needed, with a shop and Villis burger joint across the road - best burgers ever! The Cook Islands Coffee co is located right next door with the most delicious coffee and pastries. Waking up to the view of the palm trees and sea was a pleasure every morning. We did not want to leave!

Place was just as you see in the photos. Beautiful view, great location up on the hill. House has everything you need and Rose was great at communicating throughout the booking and our stay. Would definitely stay here again

Jacqui’s place was fantastic! The location was amazing: just a quick drive from the airport, near (within a short or long walk) nice restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops, but set far enough from the main road where it’s very peaceful and quiet. And it’s right on the beach! And on the west side of the island - the sunsets were amazing, and the stars at night were unlike I’ve ever seen! The unit itself was great: clean and modern with every amenity you could need. I highly recommend if you’re in Rarotonga. Worth every penny and then some! Thanks Jacqui!

Fantastic!! What more can we say..just a great quiet loacation and everything exceeded our expectations. Perfect spot to relax and reconnect with mother nature. Walking out the front door and being greeted by an amazing view of the lagoon would be one of our highlights. The accomadation was a nice size with modern appliances to cook meals if you desire along with a water filter. Eateries and a store 2 minutes walk. Both Sarah and Adam are wonderful down to earth hosts We would definately recommend ..

We came for a week with our daughters and had a lovely stay. The backyard was great to play in and the beach right there amazing for hunting for shells, coral and hermit crabs. Seeing whales from the deck each day was amazing too!

We had a wonderful stay at Carlos' unit-we stayed in the 2 bedroom downstairs.Set on a lush property, with massive garden at the front, large living areas (2 living areas inside) and a front patio and back patio! My 2 kids (9 and 6yrs) played endless games around the property and thoroughly enjoyed the space. We also enjoyed coffees on the front balcony surrounded by trees, birds and ever present chickens and roosters! It was quiet but well placed in the west of the island right next door to Edgewater resort where there are meal options and acitivities we could join. The walk to the beach/lagoon is only few mins, but reef shoes are a must - Carlos has kindly provided these along with snorkels etc.There were countless thoughtful touches, such as DVD's, board games, library of books, CD/AV/USB/phone connections (connectivity was not a problem!) Carlos also respected our privacy but was always around (and welcome) for a friendly chat - he knows his island home extensively.Hope to be back!

Great value for a couple. Wonderful location with proximity to Wigmores store, Vaima on the beach and The yellow hibiscus. Also on main road so good access to bus and absolutely beautiful beach right across the road.

Julie and I would like to thank Lotu from the moment I booked the communication was first rate . The property was perfect for the two of us and was exactly as described and only had to walk out the back door to be on the Lagoon The fruit basket coffee tea even milk in the fridge was appreciated Also a big thankyou to Sala who called in regularly to see if we needed anything We couldnt have been any happier and didnt want to leave after our 4 week stay Once again Thankyou. This accommodation had everything I needed, I would definitely stay there again and recommend this to anyone else. I have no complaints. so private, just around the corner from muri Beach and night market. Very quiet are, tidy and clean. Thank you to the host for keeping an eye on my Father when I returned back to NZ. communication was on point. out of all the accommodation this one will have to be a A+++
