Sommartid går ibland nötdjur i närheten, och man kan då behöva öppna och stänga stängsel för att komma till stugan. Internet fungerar bra med mobilt bredband. VINTERINFO: Romme Alpin och Kungsberget är slalombackar 65 km bort. Ryllshyttebacken är en trevlig familjebacke 12 km bort.
