A house built in 1778, which has recently been renovated, while retaining traditional building materials, is for rent. On the ground floor there is a living room with a dining room, kitchen, bathroom with toilet, sauna room, and in the attic there are two bedrooms and an anteroom (total 105 m2). Parking and a covered barbecue with a terrace are provided. The house is surrounded by beautiful nature, so it is ideal for nature lovers, hunters and fishermen. Nearby is the Opeka Arboretum and the Vindija Cave.

Ban house in Barabásseg

The Bán family were nobles who determined the everyday life of Barabásszeg and Zala counties for centuries. The family left the house and the village and no one even remembered that its painted ceiling, spacious interior, old furniture, cellar and huge garden were the miracle itself. The deer are used to it, and the walnut, pear and plum trees are burial grounds for them. The renovation has preserved everything possible, we are also at peace with the deer and share the garden.

The original part of the cellar is made of stone and well over 100 years old and was supplemented by a modern annex made of wood and glass, resulting in a perfect symbiosis of rusticity and modernity. The exceptionally beautiful view over the vineyards to our neighboring country of Slovenia is also convincing.
