Holiday houses in Bad Rippoldsau-Schapbach

Uncompromisingly best stay we have ever had. The warmth of the hosts made it feel like staying with close friends/family but the setup grants complete privacy and a secluded mountain-hut feel (though the cat loves to visit!). We constantly felt that the hosts had considered your every possible need in advance and provided for it. The flat itself is purpose-designed and renovated with careful thought and luxurious elegance. Everything is of highest quality, well-thought out and easy to keep pristinely clean (so clean we almost felt bad using it). Extremely functional (eg. best oven I have ever used, great shower), well equipped for all our needs - if we needed anything more (we did not) we felt v confident it would be provided. Wonderful location, with beautiful walks starting from the garden, alternatively short drives to other exciting locations. Very accessible roads even in winter. Will undoubtedly recommend to friends/family, and try to return ourselves!

The flat was clean and had a lovely balcony overlooking the river, there were many walks to choose from which went directly from the house. There is tourist information in the next village along which can be walked to as its about 3km away. It was not made clear that there is only one bedroom, this is large and has lots of storage so is a nice room, the second bed is actually is a fold away one in the lounge area. This was not a problem for myself and my friend but just something to be aware of if you were wanting more privacy. The flat is self contained but it is within the house itself, there are a number of other flats within the building, if you are expecting it to be separate its not. There was occasionally a small amount of noise from the private part of the house where the host lives but this was not intrusive, just the children playing. Be aware that you will need to pay tourist tax at the end of your stay, its about one euro per person per day.

A spacious and very nicely furnished apartment. Everything you need is there. The apartment is quiet, cozy and warm. A great extra point are the books, for all ages, as well as the many toys. The beds are comfortable, the workspace is also good. Highly recommended for families, you feel like home and not like in a cold apartment.

Karin and Wolfgang welcomed me very warmly and I immediately felt welcome in your house. They are very helpful and always available, wonderful conversation partners and tipsters and you feel comfortable and arrived from the beginning. It's all absolutely straightforward and it's the perfect place to relax or be active in the immediate vicinity. The apartment is optimal. Super clean and tidy, friendly furnishings and flooded with light. The sunny balcony offers a magnificent view of the surrounding nature and invites you to relax. The kitchen and bathroom leave absolutely nothing to be desired. The bed is very comfortable and guarantees a good night's sleep together with the incredible silence. You can park right at your doorstep. For me, it was the absolute right decision. I'd love to come back. Many thanks, Karin and Wolfgang, for the exceptionally beautiful week!

We had a great family weekend at Maria's house, we would come back! The location is simply fantastic and idyllic, surrounded by lots of greenery. We were able to start a great hike directly from the accommodation. The apartment offers plenty of space over two floors. Two bathrooms and a separate toilet were very convenient. The facility is rustic, old but cozy. Maria was friendly and helpful and always there for questions. We felt like at home. The only criticism: the refrigerator is unfortunately a bit outdated. It does not cool as efficiently as one would expect from a modern device. I would also recommend a new one for energy reasons. But that's it - otherwise everything was tip top! We would book this accommodation again at any time and can recommend it to all nature lovers. The beauty of the surroundings and the coziness of the house more than make up for the little quirks.

Our year 2025 could not have started better. Thanks for that 🙏 We were greeted personally by Milla & Grace, and we immediately felt welcome thanks to the brief introduction from the two. For us, it was the perfect place to relax, the incredibly beautiful panoramic windows invite you to do yoga or linger. Two other pluses were the sauna and the great free-standing bathtub. We will be happy to come back and can recommend the spacious apartment to anyone looking for something special.

Excellent stay. Super clean apartment with many utensils in the kitchen. Easy to access with a bus stop at the bottom of the house.
