great place to stay,close to many things with a car, and has the basics you'd need. highly recommend it.

Amazing! We’ve done this trip in various locations across costa rica and Brian’s place was by far the best, especially for larger groups. The dreamy outdoor kitchen had all the best appliances and tools you could ever need. The pool and lounge area felt like what you would experience at a high end resort. The music hookup and lighting at night was perfect for relaxing and breathtaking sunsets and nighttime conversations. Some of us could even get in a morning workout given the great gym area available and would end it with a cold plunge. I literally can’t think of anything else we could ever need! Beyond being an absolute paradise, Brian went above and beyond to welcome us and ensure we were comfortable. It’s rare these days that the host is as invested in their guests’ experience as Brian, and it’s clear that he really wants his guests to feel at home and welcome. He always promptly answered any questions and was eager to help and give recommendations. Can’t wait to come back!

The place was amazing, walking distance to everything we needed for a weekend scuba diving in Isla del Caño. Christoph was super responsive and attentive to whatever we needed. Would definitely stay there again.

This house is private and away from any crowds, yet a short drive to a large US style grocery store. The walk to the beach is so close you can hear the waves crashing at night in your bed. We woke up to Macaws, monkeys, parrots, iguanas, leaf cutter ants and many birds! We traveled with our children ages 14, 15 and 25. Our daughter walked to the private beach for yoga in the morning and the boys loved the pool, beach, hammock, and life-sized chess. My husband and I enjoyed coffee out back in the morning when the wildlife was ALIVE with sights and sounds of the true Costa Rica! Having space for our family to relax yet retreat to their own bedrooms for an afternoon siesta was perfect. The air-conditioning was very efficient and kept the house cool. The house was gated and secure with personnel on-site. Fatima and her family are the true gem of the home. Having her to help with questions was imperative and just an absolute treat. This home is a genuine home in Costa Rica! Pura Vida!

Our stay at Finca Mango was absolutely incredible! The house, grounds, and pool were all spectacular and even more lovely than the photos! Our boys were ecstatic to explore and pick fruit. We were completely secluded and well off the beaten path in this absolutely perfect spot! José, the property's caretaker, was very friendly and helped us get settled into the property. He was also quick to answer any pressing questions. Jan, our host, was very welcoming and provided lots of excellent local ideas for activities. At his recommendation we met with Fabián, a local guide who spent one morning taking us on an educational walk/hike through a small part of the refuge. It was the absolute highlight of our time in Costa Rica. Fabián was so enthusiastic and kind to our kids, who had many questions. We didn't realize when we booked the location that we were supporting the work of Refugio San Antonio, but we were so thankful and honored to be a tiny help to this project. We can't wait to return!

We spent an amazing week in Costa Rica! Bob and Loris place was amazing. The views were incredible! I loved spending mornings on all of the many decks drinking coffee and enjoying the sounds of nature. The howler monkeys sounded a bit scary(like a pack of growling dogs). Getting to the house was an adventure. I recommend arriving before dark. However, the concierge, Andres, was wonderful at guiding us in. Bob was an amazing host from the beginning. My MIL is handicapped and he went above and beyond to make sure the house was suitable and the tours we booked would accommodate her. It was such a relief that I didn’t need to plan everything myself. Bob sent a packet of tours and we selected the ones we wanted. He put together our itinerary, collected deposits and booked the tours. I highly recommend the tours serving a meal as that was the best meals we ate! Andres sent a pin of all the locations we needed to be at the night before. I cannot say enough about our incredible experience! ❤

impeccable facilities, the common areas very clean and tidy. With 2 large pools and 2 small ones for the boys. a very kind treatment and good initiative from all the staff.

Nice place to spend a few days working remote, Walmart 4 minutes by car and is a place away from the noise of the city. Hosts are friendly and responsive

Excellent location, very quiet, clean with all the amenities.

10/10. The host family is very kind, helpful and communicative. The space is beautifully bathed in natural light and surrounded by nature. There is hot water, generous space, good reception/wi-fi, and everything you might need in the kitchen. The climate is cool at night so we slept great. Great neighborhood with good restaurants and stores walking distance. We stayed for five weeks and would absolutely do it again! Highly recommended.

Cabana Chirincoco was so perfect we didn’t want to leave. Juan and his family are amazing hosts-friendly, proactive and inviting. We loved the cabin especially how open it was to nature: the outdoor kitchen, bulls across a gentle stream and so many hawks, toucans and chirincoco birds. You can walk to General Viejo our take a short drive to Rivas, San Isidro and other local cities. Plenty of food options whether you eat in or dine out. We will definitely return next time we find ourselves in the area.

The place is very nice, safe, clean, fully equipped. Grisel and his family are excellent hosts, very helpful. I would definitely come back and recommend it. Very grateful.

Beautiful well-kept cottage in the middle of beautiful nature. Very good communication with the host. Be careful with getting there: From the Pacific coast only accessible via San Isidro.

We had a wonderful stay at Ivonne’s house. The garden is beautiful and the wooden house is very well designed and pleasant to live in. There is no air conditioning, but plenty of fans keep the place comfortable. The beautiful beach is very close and there is a direct path to it, which is super convenient. Ivonne is a fantastic host, always ready to help and full of great advice. We really appreciated her kindness and her efficiency. The house is well decorated, there is a nice terrace and the kitchen is very practical and fully equiped. There are supermarkets and restaurants within 5-10 walking time. Highly recommended!

we absolutely loved our stay. location couldn't have been better if you are a beach person who loves super easy access to the beach, long walks at low tide, surfing, being in the water. The jungle was delightful. we saw macaws and monkeys. The rain helped us fall asleep at night. we slept better than we have and a very long time. we loved our stay. it was walkable to many things including where we rented our surfboards. highly recommend. hopefully we will be back because we loved it that much. we loved her parents who were very generous and kind, occasionally opening a coconut for us or providing a home-cooked meal. Thank you for a wonderful stay. everything about it was fabulous.

We feel blessed to stay at Ronald and Christina’s lovely cabin. The views are truly amazing. We stayed for 4 weeks and enjoyed every minute of it. Our hosts were very gracious and hospitable. Internet worked great which is a must. We also enjoyed their farm tour that comes with a delicious brunch. If you want beauty and tranquility, look no further.
