The house is situated above the village on a south-facing slope with a wonderful view of the Tonbach Valley. Hiking trails in all directions start right outside the front door. Welcome to our lovingly and comfortably furnished Zwergenstübchen. The vacation home is idyllically located next to our typical Black Forest half-timbered house surrounded by forest and meadows. At an altitude of 680 m and away from the urban jungle and any everyday hustle and bustle, you can enjoy nature or discover it on your own. Explore local hiking trails or discover the Black Forest and the nearby mountain bike trail by bike.

Sauna, animals and nature in the "Lerchennest"

The "Lerchennest" is located separately on the upper floor of the rustic half-timbered house in 1890. The small village of Aach is only a 5-minute drive from the spa town of Freudenstadt and offers the ideal base to discover the Black Forest. But there is also a lot to explore around the Lerchennest: the natural garden, a fireplace for grilling, a sauna to relax, feed goats or hike together, cuddly hangovers and all kinds of more.

Our accommodation, true to the motto "small but nice," is located in the small Sasbachwalden surrounded by the breathtaking mountains of the Black Forest and offers a lot of relaxation, adventure and pure life. In the vicinity is the nearest ski resort just 15 minutes by car from the apartment. The beautiful Mummelsee is also a 14-minute drive away and invites you to take leisurely walks.

Our cottage is ideal as a starting point for hikes and as a vacation home for families with one to two children. The balcony and spacious living room offer plenty of light and panoramic views over the valley. The overgrown garden is almost adjacent to the edge of the forest, and the nearest hiking trail is less than a hundred meters away.
