Beach house holiday rentals in Ballyliffin

If you’re looking to get away from the world and enjoy endless sea views and slower pace of life this place is for you! It’s idyllic and we even got to see the dolphins. The house is homely with everything you could need. And the hosts were very responsive and friendly. Definitely one of the finer places in a very nice place of the country.

This is a lovely cottage at a very quiet beach just a 1 minute walk through a grassy area. Sea views from living room window. House was cosy and warmed up quickly when heat was on. There was everything needed for a short stay. I wasn't aware there was no WiFi until we arrived and mobile service was patchy. But this was fine as it was a relaxing stay we were after It would be good if there was somewhere to store sandy shoes etc outside rather than having to bring them inside when raining. It would also be great if towels were provided and there were blackout blinds in bedrooms. We hope to be back thanks

We had an incredible few days in Malin Head at Radharc Banbha. The location exceeded our expectations - it was beyond peaceful and picturesque. We could see waves crashing on the shore and sheep happily wandering around the fields. The local hiking and history were absolutely fantastic, as were the nearby pub and restaurant. We'd wanted to give our kids a feel for the Irish countryside, and Radharc Banbha delivered that in a most magical way. Geraldine was easy to coordinate with and left lovely touches to welcome us. We wound up arriving very late, and Geraldine wonderfully offered us a late checkout to offset that when we were leaving, which was really appreciated as no one wanted to leave this perfect spot!! We felt at home immediately and everyone wants to go back again soon.

Fantastic place with outstanding surroundings. We had a peaceful & relaxing family get together and the accommodation was perfect. Highly recommend!

The cottage was in a beautiful spot, lovely view looking out onto the river, the house was very comfortable & clean. Emma was very helpful & replied to any queries straight away. We also left something at the cottage which she kindly dropped off at our relations house after we left. We would definitely stay here again & recommend it to other people

I booked with Carmel as we had a wedding on in the hotel. But as there was a few of us it was just cheaper and better to have the weekend instead of one night. Carmel place was spotless clean and we just felt right at home when we walked in. There was also a little basket of treats for us when we got there which went done a treat with a little drink after the long drive. There is not one thing I could fault this place for. With the lovely weather and right by the water it was just stunning. Carmel got onto me within an hour off checking out to say someone left something behind and could she go to the hotel to see if anyone was still there to bring it back for us. She explained everything so well to use and the stay was just brilliant. Thanks again for everything

Wonderful few days at Cul na mara. Julion’s place is super comfortable and a great place to explore the area from. The location is amazing and plenty to do in the area. Incredible hosting and very clear communication at all times. Strongly recommend!

had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful Portstewart home! The views of the Atlantic and Portstewart Strand are absolutely stunning. The house is clean, spacious, and perfectly located—just a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. We loved strolling along the coast into town for coffee and shopping. It’s also an ideal base for exploring the Causeway Coast, with easy access to the Giant’s Causeway, Dunluce Castle, hikes, and waterfalls. Peaceful, scenic, and so memorable—we highly recommend! Helen was a great host and even offered that we could check in early that morning, but due to our travel schedule we couldn’t take her up on that. Loved our time here!

We had a lovely stay for 2 nights and the house was excellent. It was exactly as described and even more beautiful than the photographs! We will definitely return the next time we are in the area.

I stayed here with two adult family members and we were all delighted with the house and its surroundings. There are lovely views and the house is beautifully designed, full of light and character, with carefully chosen objects and pictures on display. Chris and Jude demonstrate that accommodation does not have to be bland and grey! The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and well supplied and we enjoyed relaxing indoors when not out and about in beautiful Donegal. The sheep in the adjoining field were a delight to observe! I have had a lifetime of visiting this area and this is probably the nicest place I have stayed. Our only criticism is that we couldn’t get the TV to work, but then we didn’t come to Donegal to watch TV, so not a big concern.

Michelle and Josie were incredibly welcoming and helpful before our stay, upon checkin and throughout. The house is located on a beautiful beach and is an amazing and unique place to stay in a beautiful part of Ireland. It was extremely clean and has amazing facilities. Would highly recommend.

Our stay in Dunfanaghy was really enjoyable. Donegal is gorgeous, the people are lovely, and Adam’s place was a perfect base from which to explore the town and the county.

Great dog friendly caravan, view is absolutely amazing. Stayed there for 2 nights,beach really close,pubs and restaurants short drive distance, place is like described with everything needed for relaxing stay (and little extras like coffee/tea/milk/buiscits..) Rory was really good at responding to any questions we had. We'll miss that view for sure and their doggie too ;) Would 100% come back again.

Connie's property was a pleasure to stay in and perfect for our family of varied age group. The teenagers loved the cinema group and the jacuzzi bath was a hit. The view from the living room is spectacular and the location ideal for both the beach and walks to Portstewart. The house is really well equipped. Perfect location for easy access to the promenade, the strand and everything in between. Gorgeous views, lovely period home which retains its character but is warm and homely. We really appreciated the clean linen, well kitted out kitchen, washer and dryer and big back garden. The living room is a standout - really comfy sofa and armchairs, beautiful bay window and fab views. Also very grateful for Sean’s support in accommodating our needs at the end of our stay. Would happily stay again.

We had a lovely May Bank Holiday weekend at Christine's place. Everything you need is in. Spacious living room with beautiful view, well equipped kitchen to prep meals for us and kids. Firepit outside to enjoy smores in the evening. House was clean and well prepared for group of 3 families with kids. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at this incredible Airbnb and can’t recommend it enough! The views were absolutely breathtaking, with panoramic landscapes that felt like something out of a dream. The location was perfect, just a short drive to nearby towns with fantastic bars, restaurants, and stunning beaches. The home itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. If you're looking for a peaceful escape with easy access to everything, this is the place to be! We will 100% be booking again!

This home is worth any price they ask! The magnificent view made us want to simply sit at the huge window and watch the days go by. But there were many other things to do in the area. Meeting the host was an enjoyable experience. Every possible convenience was available. The bedding was comfortable and exactly as described. We fully intend to go back again.
