Hippie Paraiso

The resort of Cala d'Or is located on the southeast coast of the island of Mallorca. Its name translates to "Golden Bay". The image of the place is shaped by the predominantly one- to two-story, whitewashed houses in the so-called Ibiza style, which fit into the surrounding landscape. The small cozy complex with only 24 units is located in the Cala Egos district, in the immediate vicinity of the sea. The individual bays with the turquoise shimmering water inspire us again and again.

This house is a project that began in 2005 and was completed in 2018. It was carried out in several periods but is now a project that has come to fruition. I am in love with Balearic architecture and this house is a sample of the traditional Mallorcan peasant house. It is decorated with antique furniture acquired in second-hand markets and some from my family. It is a house with lots of light, cozy where one feels well-being and peace in the middle of nature.
