Cabin holiday rentals in Battle Lake

If you are looking for a place that is beautiful and has lots of room to spread out, this one is for you. Our large family gathered here for a fun filled family vacation. We loved loved loved the hot tub! It ended up being a cooler weekend so it was perfect. We rented a jet ski from a place in Detroit Lakes to add to the fun. All of the outdoor levels were wonderful! Also, there was a very comfortable bed in the master bedroom! I highly recommend it!

This was just what we needed for a girls getaway. We did a little bachlorette party for my daughter. We had a great stay, the hot tub was amazing, and very easy and communicative host. We will definitely stay at this cabin again! Thank you to the host and hosts family for being amazing and the property was absolutely beautiful and cozy!

This place was awesome. A group of 10 of us stayed and had a great time hanging out in the very private location. The log cabin was very cool. The hot tub was massive was able to fit everyone comfortably. Unfortunately it was negative 6 degrees the entire time we were there so we couldn't use the fire pit outside but it was perfect for hot tubing, hanging out inside and playing games. There was a couple of cool towny bars closeish that we stop at on the way up but once there didn't feel the need to leave. We went hiking down the frozen river for 2 of the days and it was very cool. The way down to the river is a little steep so highly recommend good boots. We went slow but everyone felt comfortable getting down there. The other recommendation is to plan ahead with meals cause it about a 20 min drive to the nearest grocery store. We had a great time during our stay at the Gilmore cabin in Nevis! Evolve added a lot of nice touches that made our stay more enjoyable, such as a s’mores kit, plenty of coffee pods, and beach towels. Angie, the cabin owner, made sure we had everything we needed to check in and offered for us to reach out to her if we needed anything. The cabin was a perfect fit for four adults and two kids. All of the beds were comfortable and clean. The pantry and kitchen had lots of cooking supplies for us to use. We really enjoyed the enclosed sitting area out back for eating, reclining, and watching tv. Access to the lake was easy and there were lots of inflatable items in the boat house with an electric inflator/deflator. The cornhole boards and jacuzzi with lake views were a big hit with everyone. There was a booklet with local restaurant and recreation recommendations, but we stayed at the cabin all weekend because we enjoyed it so much!

This cabin was an outstanding group get away for my birthday! In our 4 day stay we never ran out of things to do as the amenities were great! The furnishings were clean and comfortable. Any questions we had our Host was quick to respond and extremely helpful. We are already planning our return!

Where do I start, beautiful home, awesome outdoor area, wonderful neighbor, was very relaxing for our time there. We also rented the pontoon for the day and was very informative on how to operate it. Thanks so much to Josh for everything.

The cabin was exactly as advertised, very clean and comfortable and had everything a group would need. Chad was responsive to questions and offered an early check in if needed. The stairs down to the lake were steep but he warned about those as well. Hot tub was wonderful and outside amenities were fun! Great place for a big group and families. The only hiccup we had encountered was, after we cleaned thoroughly and checked out I was told there was a small stain on the sheets and we would have to purchase new sheets, even though we did a deep clean and walk through of the house like it was my own. There was a dispute over it as I didn’t see it and felt it was unnecessary to expect that of a guest especially since washing them should take care of the problem, and I was surprised to say the least that he wanted to charge us for a full king set. We did not end up replacing them but it was an unexpected exchange. Due to that conversation it gave my group and I a reason to not rebook.

Great place to stay with an awesome environment we had absolutely no issues! Only thing for us was a misunderstanding on my end when I booked it on air bnb, it says you can bring up to 12 guests but we had 2 people who had to sleep on the floor. I’d say it fits 10 adults very comfortably with people sharing beds something I should’ve just looked more into!!

House was just what we needed for the large group of Veterans we hosted foe a turkey hunt. The fridge is small for large groups; however, we made it work. Beds were comfy and plenty of space for everyone. Kitchen is well stocked with cookware, cups, glasses, and utensils.

This was our second stay at Michael's place. Just as before, we found it very accommodating, clean, and in a great location. Very quiet and peaceful with lots of beautiful trees around. It has been challenging to find quality accommodations when we visit Wadena so we have really appreciated this cozy cabin!

Everything was as described and well explained inside the cabin. The toilet didn’t smell at all. There were plenty of kitchen utensils and two electric heaters. The space was clean and comfortable. The two things I didn’t know (which is on me) were: the only way to cook is with a microwave or electric skillet - no cooktop and the beds are three compartments in the walls as shown in the photos. I was fine alone but it may be tight for some or a couple. Bed was very comfortable. Overall the stay on beautiful Shell Lake was worth it.

Very nice cabin with lots of outdoor space. Easy walk to the lakeshore and dock. Comfortable beds and nice linens and pillows. Great fire pit area. Huge lake with not a lot of activity. We had good boating and fishing.

This has been the most favorite stay of all the Arbnb’s we’ve stayed at. We felt right at home and the lake front stay was so beautiful, relaxing, serene, and peaceful. We had enjoyable canoe rides on the lake and the lake is very quiet considering the amount of cabins on it. The hut was so darn cute and very comfortable. The cottage was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and cozy. Kudos to the comfort of the beds too. We loved the front porch that looks onto the lake to play games and read a book on one of the rainy days we had. Kitchen is a great space to cook a good meal. Very close to downtown and entertainment and shopping venues. The host is very friendly and knowledgeable. We had the best time at the cottage! Highly recommend!

Place is in one of the most beautiful locations on the lake, a great neighborhood. Sarah was very responsive and went above and beyond!

If you're looking for a slice of paradise - Dan & Franci's place is it! The location was private, peaceful, and included so many amenities! A few of our favorites included the kayaks, lily pad, and fire pit. We also took advantage of the local bike path each day. We had a few gloomy days, but that didn't stop the entertainment and fun. We ventured into Perham and checked out so many cute shops and restaurants. The locals were so inviting and friendly! This place exceeded our expectations and we cannot wait to be back!

The Sunfish Cabin was a lovely little getaway for a weekend! It has a lovely view of the lake and a great spot to watch the sunsets. My friend and I really enjoyed kayaking and paddle boating. It was super nice the resort had those options available to use for free!

Jodi's property offered us one of the best vacations that we've had. Our week was filled with comfort and charm. We loved being on the lake with the dock and the chairs. Fishing was at its peak and so successful. We had fun in the game room with the record player. The living room was cozy and kitchen had all amenities you're going to need. This property truly is a treasure for anyone to have a getaway and be filled with everything you need. We will definitely be planning another trip next year!

We had a great time here! A very secluded property and it was very easy to find. My husband enjoyed canoeing around the lake and fishing and my dogs enjoyed swimming and running around sniffing through the wooded parts. It was so quiet and peaceful, and the cabin had everything we needed.

We had amazing two night stay before heading back to Minneapolis airport after family wedding in montana....easy to find spotless cabin with super comfy beds. Outside area amazing our son caught his first fish and off course put it back in lake 🥰 and we all enjoyed having smores at the firepit on second night. Bedrooms could do with black out blinds as very bright early morning. But besides that we would definitely not hesitate in recommending this cabin to anyone travelling in this area.

This was our 2nd stay at this cabin, and we loved it again! Soleil is super easy to work with and her place is exactly as described. Beautiful lake view with great fishing right from the dock! Stunning sunrises and a lovely deck to relax on when not fishing or out on the kayaks. Wonderful wildlife sightings rounded out a fantastic weekend! Thank you!

I wholeheartedly recommend staying here at Eric and Anne's cabin on Blueberry Lake. Their cabin is pristine and idyllic for a perfect north woods experience. Close to park Rapids (a very fun little town) and the headwaters of the Mississippi River, you'll have plenty to do if, somehow, you tire of the tranquility along the water. Great amenities, thoroughly clean, and very accommodating of children, this place is on our list of return visits for sure.

Very helpful in answering questions in a timely fashion. Helped with recommendations of things to do in the vicinity. Nice areas for outdoor seating.

We had a wonderful stay with our three small children (two year old twins and five year old). Vacations are not always easy with littles, but this cabin was perfect! It was clean, fully stocked, and easy to maneuver with pack and plays and “kid stuff.” We loved the beach, sandy swimming area, and having the dock space for our boat. We ate many meals in the screened in porch and enjoyed how close we were to Battle Lake and other fun amenities! This was a great vacation for us. Anne and Dave were communicative, helpful, and everything was straightforward. We would highly recommend this place for your families next vacation!
