Josiah & Jael are so easy to talk to and to work with! They were very understanding and everything in the home was clean and easy to find. I'd definitely recommend their home!!

My mother and I stayed here during a cross country road trip and now it’s the only thing she can talk about. We’ve spent the last ten hours into Georgia talking about how we need to go back and how we need to build her the exact same place. How the fixtures and hardware were perfect. How beautiful and well situated it was. How amazing the wall of windows is and how cool it stayed even in the rage of the morning sun. The wet room. The perfect couch. The great TV. The high-end kitchen. This place has taken over my life. It’s all I know. I am its unwitting eternal advocate; my mother, forever part of the Virginia landscape. Somebody please help us. Nothing remains of us any longer but for this place. Also, the host was great, check-in was easy, DoorDash delivers here and check-out was a breeze. Note: do not accidentally turn off the switch that powers the WiFi router. Anyway, WHAT HATH WROUGHT THE FOREVER STAY; MAY IT KNOW YOUR TIME AS WELL.

Great little basement apartment for our short stay with a young child. Our daughter loved having the toys available to be played with upon arrival. Clean large space and very comfortable! Thank you for the hospitality!

We stayed at The Witt’s Inn while our sons attended a hockey camp at Liberty University, and it was perfect for what we needed. We were four hockey dads looking for a comfortable, convenient place, and this delivered. The Inn is in a private, quiet area but still just 10 minutes or less from stores, restaurants, and the university — super convenient. The space was clean, spacious, and provided a relaxing, restful environment after long days at the rink. Highly recommend! It was a fantastic value for the price we paid, and we’d definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful 4 day stay at Dannie & Nancy's home. We are a family of 6: dad, mom, and 4 boys ages 3- 17. What we enjoyed most was how peaceful and remote the setting was. We saw a couple boats go by each day, but other than that and some wildlife (deer, various birds, and a baby bear were spotted!) we were totally alone. What sold us on this home vs. the others is the use of the canoe, kayas, paddle board and peddle boat plus all the various sizes of lifejackets. This made it so much fun for each person in our family to get out and enjoy the lake. I enjoyed paddling the kayak for exercise and enjoyment, and my husband and sons took various boats out to fish. They caught white bass, blue catfish (one pretty large), lots of bluegill, a shad, white perch, and several channel catfish. We really enjoyed being right near the water. We also made use of the firepit each night. Dannie & Nancy were always available when we had questions.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful, clean, smelled nice, and was very, very well-stocked. The bedrooms and living room were extremely comfortable, bathroom was spotless, and Amy could not have been more attentive and responsive, even allowing us to check-in early. Highly recommend!

Anthony's place was very clean and welcoming. felt secluded even though was close to everything. was well pleased with our stay. only drawback was we weren't able to control the temperature and the house was 76 degrees too hot for June. Anthony did turn it down some but was still too hot for us . plenty of wildlife if that's your thing, the deer come close enough to almost pet them . I will definitely stay here again it's perfect for just 2 people

Barry’s place was very comfy and cozy. It was stocked with snacks and water that made us feel at home. They also provided Keurig coffee pods and creamer so you don’t have to run to the store and buy it which is nice. There was also a basket of toiletries with everything you could think of so if you forgot something, it was likely in there. It’s only about 17 minutes to Liberty University. I would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful place! Huge bathroom, great water pressure in the shower. Beds & pillows were very comfortable. Everything was clean!

It was the perfect place for us while visiting our daughter and new grandson, we were . 7 miles from their place and in such a quiet neighborhood! The place is no frills but everything we needed was there and very reasonable, it was nice and cool inside which we appreciated since it's hot and humid in Lynchburg, 😆. Close to almost everywhere we needed to be. Communication was quick and always pleasant and we would stay again if needed. Thanks!!

Staying with Mr Jane was a pleasure. The location was perfect, the apartment was cozy and spotless. The place was well-equipped and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. This is a peaceful downstairs apartment with private entry and beautiful backyard with swimming pool. Mrs Jane was always available to answer our questions. unforgettable experience! Highly recommended!"

Perfect for dog lovers and lake lovers! I’ve rented various condos at Smith Mountain Lake and several different ones at Stripers Landing, but Shannon’s place is now my new favorite. With a great view, plenty of space and the option to bring the pup - it’s such a treat. Highly recommend.

We had a great time! Kathleen thought about all the little things and we didn’t want for anything. The views were fantastic on the deck, we sat out there often. The living quarters were beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful time.

One of my daughters and I stayed at Matt's listing to just get away and be together. It was a wonderful stay! A very easy walk to a private and lovely beach area. Easy access to 2 great pools, a hot tub, sauna and even racquetball court. Our time inside Matt's space was equally as relaxing. Simple and comfortable decorations, all things desired were easy to find. Even had a dishwasher - that was a treat! It was great to have the top floor as the view was fabulous. Top floor did mean taking a few stairs, but that was not at all a big deal. We hope that Matt was satisfied with our stay, because we would LOVE to return (and other daughters are hoping they get to go :)!

This was a wonderful place to stay! Mary Anne was incredibly responsive and helpful at all times. The place and surrounding area was peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend!

We had a wonderful long weekend here, enjoying all the beauty of Smith Mountain Lake. We rented a boat, played mini-golf, walked along the lake, and ate great food. This condo is the perfect location to relax and play.

We have stayed at Katie’s place multiple times! It is in the perfect location where it is an easy walk to the beach, either pool, and the restaurant. Katie is so easy to get in touch with and helpful. This will be our go to spot!

Rachelle’s home was immaculate! Very well kept and super clean. We had everything we needed and more. Rachelle was very responsive with any questions and we felt right at home. Definitely would come back!
