Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Bel Air, Los Angeles

Skyhill Oasis is a beautiful home near everything we wanted to do. We were extremely comfortable and pleased with our stay. We had a fantastic time. Darryl was very responsive to our questions. We could've have happier. We would definitely stay again if we had the chance. Thank you Darryl!

Tom was an excellent host, responsive and helpful. His place was a perfect spot for me and my daughter to spend a couple of weeks when we needed to be in Van Nuys. Well stocked with everything we needed. Remodeled bathroom and updated kitchen. Beds were comfy and the bedrooms were private and quiet. Parking was easy. The photos give you a very good idea of the place. It is one of our favorite Airbnb's and we hope to return in the future.

My husband likes to say..."wow, that's why Michael is a 'super host'"! This home is what every air bnb consumer hopes for. It actually exceeds your expectation. He has thought of everything and more. Every detail is covered, everything you need is there. The home is immaculate and so are all the appointments, home appliances and gardens. There is a wonderful patio and barbeque too. I remember saying 'pride in ownership'. We had a different circumstance coming here in that we were displaced by the California Wild Fires. We found the comfort of our home here and the comfort of our hosts, who care. We had hardly anything when we got there and Michael and his wonder partner provided for, and had already thought of everything. We were fortunate this home was available when we needed it. As far as travel, if you are a tourist, I personally needed to get around, to our former home, and to work. The freeway is close by as are many wonderful restaurants. Enjoy!

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Raymond made us feel right at home - welcoming, responsive, and an all-around great host. The house was beautiful, super clean, had very cool decor, and the most comfortable beds ever! We loved the roof deck and enjoyed sitting up there for morning coffee and a glass of wine in the evening. The location was ideal – quick walk to the beach, close to hip shops, restaurants, etc. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Venice, and we look forward to staying here again the next time we are in the area.

I was quite impressed with the home. The home was as depicted, clean, comfortable and quite relaxing. Bedding is comfortable as well. The immediate area is quiet with an array of restaurants and shopping near by. Minutes from the expressway. Lisa is a wonderful host, professional yet personable. She left simple instructions and was available to respond to any concerns. My family and I enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

We stayed at Michael’s place because we were taking a family vacation to Universal Studios Hollywood. We found the location to be exactly what we needed. It was just a few minutes away from Universal Studios and on a very private location with breathtaking views! I had a lot of questions prior to booking Michael’s place and he was very responsive and eager to provide help. The communication factor alone made our stay very comfortable, not to mention how beautiful the house is, inside and out! The house is well-equipped with everything you’ll need and it’s centrally located. We also visited Santa Monica Beach while we stayed at Michael’s place and it was a comfortable drive there and back. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would recommend Michael’s place to anyone looking to visit Universal Studios, the local area or simply wants to get away! Will definitely be back! We appreciated the location. We could walk to some nearby restaurants and easily took Lyfts to the activities and sights we had planned. The unit was spacious and clean. We loved sitting on the balcony and experiencing the perfect LA weather. Brent was responsive to any questions we had, responding quickly.

I loved staying here and was honestly sad to leave when my trip was over, Bryn was responsive and helped me with anything I needed. I would 100% stay here again!

I loved staying at Fawaz’s place. It is one of the bungalows attached to the courtyard of Jackson Ave market, so it was great having the market and beautiful garden next door. The place was clean and exactly as described. Plenty of linens, towels and kitchen stuff. They even had some snacks as a welcome surprise. I felt right at home and will definitely be staying there again. Be aware that there is a lot of foot traffic right outside the door and windows because of the location. So if you want something ultra private and quiet this might not be a good fit. But if you’re ok with people around the area this was a great stay.

Absolutely surpassed any expectations. What a little Hollywood treasure. Great modern space with top level appliances . Equipped and ready for a spontaneous traveler. I’ve never seen an Airbnb so prepared. Only bring your toothbrush . Excellent brief stay, felt like a home.

Maggie was an exceptional host. Any thing that we needed or if anything happened she was one phone call away. The location was awesome and perfectly described. We loved our entire experience and we would most definitely stay at this location again.

This was a great place to stay. We were there for just one night but it’s a nice building, apartment and location. They were very helpful and responsive when we communicated. No issues at all and well worth the money.

My sister and I come to LA every summer. This was a great place to stay. Echo park- stone’s throw from silver lake. Amazing walks. Pete’s cabin was cool and quiet. Just what we needed.

Finding a rental in this area of Los Angeles is very rare. It’s near where my daughter and her family live so we could walk there every day without having to hire an Uber or Lyft. Plus the area is quiet and felt very safe. We would definitely stay there again.

What a cool place! Kagel Canyon is so close, yet feels world's away from the frantic pace of LA. The house is great - and you quickly get used to the canyon's winding roads to a parking spot right at the gate to the property. Host Vic is very responsive - when we had one issue the first evening, he was there in less than 10 minutes to correct it. He and his co-host are dedicated to making improvements to create a perfect guest experience - even brought over a new table & chairs for the patio while we were there. Kagel Canyon may be further away from downtown LA & Hollywood, but has a similar vibe to Laurel and Topanga canyons, legendary hangouts of the late 60's. Quirky and interesting homes amongst the giant trees - fun to stroll the streets even if there's alot of up and down hiking. Especially enjoyed hiking up the trail from nearby Veranda Dr. - 360° views down into the canyon and into the mountains. Very quickly felt at home - a perfect respite from a very busy city. 5 stars!

Such a unique and wonderful experience! I was amazed at how comfortable the bed was. The Cedar hot tub was the highlight of my stay. Sitting on the deck at night looking up at the stars was just so peaceful. I loved everything about Ardie’s place.
