Our stay at the Airbnb in Mathon was simply fantastic! The property is idyllically located in the mountains and offers breathtaking views – perfect for relaxing and unwinding. A special highlight was the hike to Libi, a beautiful mountain lake about 30 minutes away. The nature, the tranquility and the fresh mountain air were simply magnificent. However, the lake is still a little too cold in May. In the evening we enjoyed a cozy fondue together – a real experience! The perfect end to the day was then in the self-heated hotpot under the stars – an absolute feel-good moment that we will not soon forget. Thank you so much for this wonderful time – I'm sure we'll be back!

Super charming home with absolutely stunning views of Lake Como better seen in person. The amenities were wonderful and the hosts were so very friendly, attentive and helpful. Highly recommend staying here! Also, be sure to book any transportation ahead of time.

This family stay went extremely well; we enjoyed Luca's accommodation, which perfectly matched the description. The charm asset: the spa and the jacuzzi with a breathtaking view of the lake 😍 A big thank you to the co-hosts Andrea and Carla for their kindness and responsiveness in the exchanges before, during and after our stay. I would recommend it in a second!

What a beautiful view—this place is truly magical, especially if you’re visiting with a significant other. In my case, I was here to make appointments for a property I recently purchased, and the setting couldn’t have been more perfect. It was peaceful, calming, and a welcome escape between meetings. A serene atmosphere with stunning surroundings—I couldn’t have asked for more.

Sonia's Airbnb is breathtaking. The view of Lake Como is even more beautiful than the photos in the listing. Sonia is a wonderful host - she provides recommendations, answered all of my questions and always made sure that we had everything we needed. I wished we had explored the lake with her on her sailboat so if you get the opportunity I would book it! The only thing I would advise future renters is that the road to Sonia's Airbnb in Brunate is VERY, VERY narrow and winds around and around. It is very easy to get lost and go down the wrong street. If you're renting car, try to get the smallest car possible - it will help you to maneuver the narrows roads. There is a funicular stop close to the house so you could walk there and take it to Como or to the top of Brunate. It is much easier to get off at the top of Brunate and walk downhill to the house. Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway.

Quiet and great place, the apartment was as described in the advertisement. We were 6 adults who had a great week in the apartment with great views. We rented bikes from @Bike it! Bellagio, very good service here too. Nice to cycle to experience new places, the ferry from Bellagio went to both sides of the lake and was easily accessible 😊

Lisa and her family were incredibly gracious and responsive hosts. They met us shortly after we arrived helped us park our van and carry in our bags. They gave us recommendations for restaurants and we ended up booking a lovely boat ride on Lake Como with Lisa as our captain. The apartment was as pictured and was comfortable for our family. The home was very welcoming, clean, and beautifully rustic. The house is in a quiet location with a lovely view of the lake, and the directions we were given allowed to get there with no problem. Also, we were greeted by fresh eggs, juice, sweets, sparkling wine and other gifts at the place, which is very nice and commendable. Any recommendations for this place if you want a quiet and enjoyable vacation, we felt right at home.

Alice is a very helpful and competent host - always responsive and friendly. Franco1 was a perfect apartment with the lake facing balcony a wonderful place to spend time - especialy during early morning and late evenings. The C30 bus-stop and grocer were within walking distance. Being close to Bellagio meant easy access to Mennagio, Varenna and the other towns, though Como is a bit far and takes more than 40 min by bus. Overall we had a good time.

We absolutely loved staying here. The location in Bellano was so charming and peaceful and the apartment is close to the ferry and bus stop. Downstairs we found an awesome gelato spot and some cute restaurants! Marco went above and beyond to communicate and check up on our stay. Everything was clean and modern. The unit was also very spacious. Comfy beds. Nothing bad to say!

Roberta’s home is AMAZING! It’s spacious, in a great location, and has the best view especially for sunset. We loved being right at the edge of city center and a quieter space to relax while being no more than 10 min walk to the furthest restaurant. Don’t forget to look at Roberta’s beautiful paintings around the house and stop at her shop down the road! We’ll certainly stay here again.

It was fantastic to stay right on the lake with a private patio. We cooked dinner one night and walked to a restaurant the other night of our stay. Beautiful views. Swans visited the water below the patio. I enjoyed the layout with high ceiling and bed on the second floor. The air conditioning worked well - which was great after the journey to the lake on a hot day. We also made pasta in Lierna - with Annamaria, and went swimming in the lake. Great experience staying in Bellano.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the unbeatable location of this home. Being directly on the lake, the views are nothing short of magical. Waking up in the morning and looking out over the water from the bedroom felt like something out of a dream — peaceful, serene, and impossibly beautiful. The lake was quite literally at our doorstep. The home itself was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and full of charm. Every little detail was taken care of, and we felt instantly at ease. A special shoutout to our host, who went above and beyond when we realized last minute that we had forgotten to include our mother-in-law as a guest. It was entirely our oversight, and yet the host was kind, understanding, and incredibly accommodating. That kind of graciousness makes all the difference when you’re traveling. We can’t say enough good things about this place — the comfort, the views, the hospitality. If you’re lucky enough to find availability here, book it. Can’t wait to return

We spent 10 days in the beautiful apartment, which left nothing to be desired. The view is fantastic, the location is quiet and idyllic. You could buy the essentials in a few minutes in a small nearby shop. We highly recommend the place. If you're looking for a break, you'll find it there.

We spent 4 nights in an absolutely ideal place to rest. The setting is very quiet, with a magnificent view of the lake, perfect for disconnecting. We had an accommodation with an outdoor kitchen, which was really nice to fully enjoy the environment. The room was very nice, comfortable and clean. The place is also perfectly suited for a stay with a small child: there is a sandbox, a swing, some toys on site, a high chair, a baby bed... even board games for family evenings. The owners are lovely, with lots of little touches that make the difference: on our arrival, fresh fruits, yogurts, beers... And for those who like their peace, don't worry, we hardly saw them The only small point of improvement in my opinion would be the addition of a small pool, it would really be the icing on the cake. But otherwise, everything was great, a real little corner of paradise

My holiday week in Ruth's small, fine apartment was perfect. There is more than everything you need, even for cooking there is nothing missing. I particularly appreciated the quiet location with a beautiful view and the cool apartment (despite the summer temperatures outside). Ruth is a very helpful, courteous and very experienced hostess. She always has good tips and recommendations for guests who are not yet familiar with the area. Looking forward to the next stay!

Friendly and helpful Paola was the perfect hostess. My sister and I were looking for peace and relaxation, and we really got it while sitting on the apartment balcony, surrounded by greenery and beauty, enjoying the magical evening sun. There is a lot to see and experience in the area. We returned home relaxed, with wonderful memories.

Absolutely LOVED staying at Anna's apartment! We adored Argegno - a lovely historic town that was much quieter than surrounding towns. Anna's apartment was spacious and the terrace and views were breathtaking. Anna was a wonderful host who was very quick to communicate. We would definitely stay again.

Clear recommendation 😍 communication was great and quick response. The view from the balcony is really like a picture book. We were always alone by the pool and from there you also have great panoramic views. Umbrella, etc., everything was available. Check in well described and easy. Apartment looks like on the pictures (couch is a little small for two but matches the photos). Location also perfect, the ferry dock at the port in Gravedona and you can easily get from A to B. The city is within walking distance and very authentic compared to other places on Lake Como, which are only overrun by tourists.

We’ve had a fantastic stay at this apartment!. The view was phenomenal!!!. The apartment itself was perfect for our group, plenty of space and 3 balconies where we could admire the views of the lake. The apartment is in such a perfect position and location. It is definitely THE BEST view of the lake. We did have a car and found this useful but it’s only a 20-25 min walk (uphill) and in my opinion it wasn’t too bad. Varenna was lovely, the scenery absolutely stunning and it’s been an amazing trip!. The hosts were great and had great communication. Thanks again for a great stay! We would recommend!

4 nights didn’t feel enough and we left with such a heavy heart. Laura’s place is breathtaking and pictures don’t do it any justice. We were so sad to leave the tranquil and peaceful villa. I’ve never stayed anywhere like this and look forward to going back.

Wonderful place, with a pool and a view of the lake, a great destination.

We had wonderful days in this very special place. Beautifully overgrown (banana trees!!) and very large outdoor area, we were actually swimming in the lake every day, which was a highlight for us. The apartment is furnished as in the pictures in the listing with older furniture, especially the 2nd bedroom is sparsely furnished, but we did not use it. The kitchen, however, is brand new and superbly equipped (the coffee machine has already been mentioned several times here). Ursi and Enrico welcomed us very warmly and provided us with good tips for the area, there was also a helpful parking map for free use of the parking spaces along the river. In short, we felt very comfortable, 1000 thanks and we will be happy to come back.
