We were kindly welcomed by the owners. The accommodation is quietly located, the garden is large for playing and relaxing, the pool is refreshing in summer. The house is very functional, nicely decorated. The owners are extremely nice, communication with them was very pleasant. The little extra: their dog Runny! It's a property to have in your logbooks!

Had a great stay, very peaceful place full of nature

Communication with Estelle was excellent from start to finish. She was a perfect host, always willing to help when asked but otherwise discreet. Her family were also very helpful. The gite is just as described, perfectly clean and presented. The kitchen is a little tricky to get used to in a corner under the stairs but everything is in good condition and works perfectly. Plenty of hot water in the shower. The bed is very comfortable. On the very hot nights air conditioning would have been welcome though there are good fans. Near to to shopping and so many places to visit in the locality. The roads are very quiet for walking and cycling. The outdoor areas are private, absolutely peaceful, the only sounds are the breeze and birds.

Very pleasant stay and really charming owners which has greatly contributed to a successful holiday.

We had the most wonderful 12-night stay in The Farmhouse and enjoyed fabulous hospitality from Sam & Stuart. It is very well equipped with everything that you need for a very comfortable stay. There is a beautiful outdoor space for al fresco dining. There is an enormous barn which has been converted into a games area and is incredibly well equipped with table tennis, pool, darts, table football, a library, and every board game known to man! There is also an invaluable library of information on the local area. The massive heated outdoor pool is such a beautiful area to relax in. With the local church as a backdrop and the sounds of the birds singing in the surrounding trees in the beautiful garden was absolute bliss. The location is a great base to travel from and explore the towns and villages in the surrounding area. We even managed a couple of day trips to La Rochelle and Bordeaux. Thank you so much for such a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Both discreet and always available, Gilles , always accompanied by his faithful Kiki, really made this stay enjoyable. The cottage and amenities are as described and we highly recommend the place for those who love small villages, fishing or even walking or cycling.

Very nice house with neat decoration, quiet, with a lovely view of the marsh. The grocery store is within walking distance (open even on December 25!) and several supermarkets are about 15 minutes by car. We had a great stay.

The house is very nice, spacious and bright, and well-equipped, as described, in a natural and quiet environment. Everything was perfectly clean, the bed linen too. We were able to enjoy the outdoors and the barbecue, it was perfect! We will definitely come back the next time we visit this beautiful region of the Poitevin marsh.

What a delightful air BnB! Anne met us as we arrived to show us the property, along with a homemade cake. The property was spotless, modern and super comfortable. We were in the region to attend a wedding at a local Chateau, Anne’s place was perfect. Anne was really responsive to messages and lent us an iron, everything else comes in the property. We really couldn’t have asked for a more delightful and extremely comfortable stay! Merci beaucoup!

We were able to arrive early and Didier kindly welcomed us. The cottage is in a peaceful location a short drive from the municipality of Coulon. It is very spacious and well-equipped. Great stay. Thank you for everything.

A big thank you to Valerie for hosting and kindness. An excellent welcome cake (local recipe) and everything available, nothing is missing. Coffee, tea, sweets, mosquito repellent cream, baby cotton pads, changing table, garbage bags and everything else. We didn't miss anything, neither for my wife and me, nor for the baby. A dream week for us and our dog. Spacious house, very well equipped, offering a large, fully enclosed outdoor area. All in a charming little village, on the edge of La Sèvre. Good stay in the Marais Poitevin and also very close to the ocean. Really a good place! We'll come back and if possible to Laura's.
