Paal 14 is a cozy, comfortable, cozy 4-person cottage on a beautiful avenue, within walking distance of the dunes, climbing garden, the village with shops and restaurants. It is a completely independent house with garden with lots of privacy. On the ground floor is a cozy living room with pellet stove and a new open kitchen, which is fully equipped. Behind the house is a private garden with terrace. On the first floor are a bathroom, 2 bedrooms with 4 beds and a laundry room with washing machine.

This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

Have fun with the whole family or group of friends in our quirky house with 100 m² space. It's a 10 minute walk from the city centre of Alkmaar and about 7 minutes to the train station. The train can take you directly to Amsterdam central in 35 minutes. A return train ticket costs roughly 17 € for off peak time. Alkmaar is an old Dutch city just like Amsterdam but smaller. Enjoy the canals, great food and cozy atmosphere. There is free parking close to the house which is a 200 meter walk.

House of 100 years old is under the mill and is cozy and cozy. A 5-minute walk will take you to the centre of Alkmaar. Rent a boat and see Alkmaar from the water. In the street behind the cottage is a beautiful, large playground the “OKB”. The bus stops in front of the door. Paid parking in the area and just across the house. Free parking is within walking distance. Downtown: a 5-minute walk away Beach: 30 min by bike/min 15 by car Two bicycles for use at the cottage.

Irene's Vogelhuis is located behind our home on the Breelaan in Bergen. That is close to the cozy center, but also very close to the forest, the dunes and the beach. An ideal location and perfect base for two people who want to enjoy Bergen and its surroundings. The studio is full of comforts, modernly furnished and clean. We charge a fixed price per night including cleaning fee and tourist tax. A dog is also welcome, we charge something extra for that.
