This Apt. was better then heaven. The view to Hudson River, the quietness, the charming interior and the bike path along the river are unique. We want to come again.

Great spot and would definitely stay again! It’s really big and comfortably fit our group of 6. There were lots of towels, blankets, and other things like shampoo, a flat iron, and more that we used and were a big plus. Kitchen had plenty of spices, dishes, and pans to cook — the knives do need to be sharpened though! The instructions to get into the building weren’t correct and we didn’t arrive until 10 PM so I had to figure it out myself and he didn’t get back to me until the next day but it was okay. The place was really clean and not very noisy in my opinion, compared to anything closer to NYC! Navigating the buses to Manhattan was very easy (there are 3 bus lines within 2 blocks that take you straight to Manhattan) and taking Ubers/Lyfts from the place were hardly faster than the bus. Taking the bus instead of a rideshare saves you at least $70 one way too. The area was safe and there were plenty of places to pick up groceries nearby that weren’t too expensive. Highly recommend!

This place was comfortable, clean, and convenient. We felt safe and welcome the entire time. Michael communicated very well. I did let him know that it is a bit inaccurate to state that it’s 15 minutes from Times Square. Although it is only 2.9 miles away, due to normal traffic patterns and natural barriers, there really is no way to get there that quickly. However, once we got used to public’s transit, it was very easy and cheap to get into downtown NYC and didn’t take an insane amount of time (even in high congestion times). This place is way more budget friendly than staying in downtown Manhattan! So if you’re looking for a downtown adjacent adventure and aren’t concerned about being in the action at all times, this place is a perfect fit for your travels.

We had an amazing day. I was able to do work peacefully and remotely with ease. Amazing local restaurants, and our host were so pleasant and amazing to speak with! They let us know what was in the surrounding areas as far as entertainment and food. Everything is new!I definitely will be doing all my future in New Jersey and New York stays here!

The hosts go out of there way with info about the neighborhood, amenities, and perfect communication. My family enjoyed their stay and are determined to book this spot when they visit NJ/NYC. Also, incredibly accessible to midtown in 15min to time square, and from there you can get anwhere. Would easily book here again.

This is the second time we have stayed in one of Kristof’s studios at The Appalachian. As last time, he was great to rent from and very responsive. The studio was perfect for our needs as we were there for a downhill mountain bike race. It was great to be onsite the whole weekend. The studio has everything you need and being on the second floor was nice.

My wife and I had a great stay at Paul’s place. Very clean and just as described. Look forward to staying again in the future.

It is a great location, with plenty of things to do in the immediate vicinity. The unit was quiet, clean, comfortable, and provided everything I needed for a week long stay. The owner was very responsive to any query, and I did not have any issues with the unit during my stay. I'd work with Henry again for a future stay in Vernon, NJ.

Loved the stay in the apartment! It was beautiful, peaceful and exactly what we needed to have a little time when life takes over. Will for sure be booking the spot again!! The view of NYC was beautiful. Well worth every penny-one of the nicest, cleanest places we’ve stayed so far! Came up from NYC for a chill weekend and the place was perfect. Peaceful with amazing views — exactly what we needed to relax. The room was clean and just like the photos, and all the amenities were great. Would definitely come back!

We had an amazing stay in Brooklyn, the apartment was perfect for our stay! It was very clean and well equipped. We didn't miss anything! The neighbourhood was safe and quiet. We were also able to check in early! It is a bit far to get to the subway that brings you to the the city center but uber is affordable.

I loved staying here! So much to do in the area and the view to manhattan was so beautiful! Easy to get to and from manhattan.

The space was so clean & well maintained, and the house is in a beautiful quiet neighbourhood. The shared spaces are cleaned daily - I noticed the bathroom's garbage was cleared every morning, and the available toiletries (ie. soap, lotion, shampoos, etc.) were filled up every morning. It's a quiet & comfortable house, and each room has its own keypad lock, which felt very safe & private. Host, other guests, and even neighbours are quiet & respectful of noise. Listing was exactly as shown, check-in was super easy & straightforward, and location is convenient for getting into town, or to the mall. Jaime respects your privacy & isn't pushy, and is responsive to messages when you need anything.

This home was perfect for my siblings and their kiddos to meet up for a nice long weekend. Kerry made us feel very welcomed and was super responsive when we had questions. The sunroom was one of my favorite places in the house. The kids enjoyed playing both outdoors and indoors. The neighborhood was quiet and the kitchen was stocked. Just a short drive to the mall and plenty of places to eat. We would gladly stay again.

This place was awesome for me and my family, it was 7 of us and the place was wonderful, comfortable and had everything the description said. Very reasonable price. The host was friendly, helpful and very kind with us and even told us were to go to enjoy the city. I really recommend this place if you are planning to visit NYC with a big group.

Casa de la Paz was a very good place to stay, the house is very clean and large, the patio and the rooms are very well furnished. Would stay there again
