The Alpeltalhütte, which has existed since 1919, has been completely renovated by us and now offers six wonderful, modern apartments built with natural raw materials. Here you can walk right from the front door and start your adventure around the Berchtesgaden mountains.

We welcome you to the Holznest! Your apartment with wooden hut flair. You can expect natural materials and sustainability on two levels in our solid wood house completed in 2022. Downstairs is the living/cooking/dining area with sofa bed and terrace, upstairs is the panoramic bedroom and bathroom with rain shower. Enjoy the coziness and warmth of the spruce wood. Here you will find a quiet retreat on the edge of the forest, which provides rest and relaxation away from street noise. The location of our apartment gives you the opportunity to easily explore many sights, such as the historic center of Berchtesgaden, the Kirchleitenkapelle or the brine pipeline bridge on foot.

Our guest apartment is on the second floor of an old town house in the heart of Hallein and offers a nice view of the pedestrian zone. Shops, bakeries, cafes, ice cream parlors and restaurants with beautiful gardens are practically at your doorstep. The medieval salt and Celtic city of Hallein is considered the “little sister” of the cultural city of Salzburg, which can be reached by S-Bahn in approx. 20 minutes.
