Our idyllic cottage from 1730 is located in the middle of the old village center of Wilkenburg (Hemmingen), surrounded by a nature reserve. Our half-timbered house, built around 1550, is located on the longest adjoining half-timbered house street in Lower Saxony and due to its central location in the city center, all sights are easily accessible on foot in a few minutes. The coziness of the half-timbered house is immediately noticeable. It is very family-friendly and our capable property management is always available. It has three levels, with the bedrooms on the upper floors only accessible via narrow stairs.

Central and barrier-free apartment with terrace

The rooms are located in the basement of the house and are accessible without stairs. Two spacious bedrooms, a bathroom with toilet + shower and a kitchenette with fridge, coffee maker and kettle are available. The level is exclusive for our guests. There is a separate entrance from the outside with beautiful views of the garden, which can also be used. The house (first floor) is occupied, but very quiet. We have a small dog that is very family friendly.

Welcome to Werder, a small village 5 km from Bockenem and the A7 with connection to the A39. Hanover, Braunschweig and Goslar can be reached in about 30 minutes. Shopping and restaurants are in and around Bockenem. The Harz and the Weserbergland invite you to hike and cycle. Motorcyclists will also get their money's worth here. We ourselves ride motorcycles and are happy to assist you with tour questions.
