The "Donauland Carnuntum" area offers delightful hiking and biking trails, culture and culinary delicacies. Excursions to Bratislava, the Roman city of Carnuntum or the nearby Marchfeld castles by bike or boat are particularly recommended in the summer months. Or you just enjoy the tranquility of nature with romantic sunsets and let your mind wander.

Our vacation home isn't a direct waterfront, but across the road is the controlled Danube. Local tourism tax is payable separately at the rate of 300 HUF/person/night.
