Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Boone

This was the nicest and cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in. Jeff and Bunny checked in on us and were very responsive. It took our breath away from the moment we turned into the driveway. Very close to Boone and West Jefferson which was great. We were also able to bring our pups which was a huge bonus! We were not ready to leave. We will be going back soon!!

We had an amazing stay here! It was clean and the area was beautiful. Everything was exactly as described. We saw deer in the yard and fish in the stream! It was super relaxing and perfect for a vacation.

Yvonne’s farmhouse is absolutely amazing! Exactly as described and was surrounded by beauty! It took me back in time when I grew up in Boone. Beds were very comfortable, couches and chairs were amazing, as well! Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed! The farm fresh eggs, juice and milk (along with all the goodies on the bar) was such a sweet and thoughtful touch to this already amazing home! We had such a wonderful time here! This Airbnb exceeded my expectations. Wanted to have a weekend away and had minimal plans thinking we would be gone from the home all weekend. We ended up hardly leaving this lovely home! The property is so beautiful and loved exploring down the creek and hanging out on the benches of the property. The house itself was so so cozy and clean. we enjoyed using the indoor outdoor speakers spending time with friends. I loved the welcome sign when we got there and it spoke to how personable Andrew was. He was very kind and helpful through texts and in person to help set up the speakers. I loved this place so much it made it hard to leave. Will be coming back. Thanks Andrew and family!!

Loved it! Just what we needed for a quick getaway. Close to downtown Boone and was a very comfortable stay.

Ian’s place was wonderful!! We booked it for my daughter’s 16th birthday girls night and it was perfect! We loved the whimsical decor and all the details. My daughter’s friend picked up the guitar for a sing along right away. :) Thank you for being so accommodating and responsive during our stay! My daughter is already planning another trip back. We absolutely loved it!

Pie in the sky was perfect for our family of 5! The views were absolutely incredible. It had everything we needed to cook, relax and stay for the weekend. Our family has stayed at dozens of Airbnb’s and this was one of our favorites. Highly recommended!

It is very cozy for a short stay. It is about 14 minutes to Grandfather Mountain. Great communicating with Amy prior arrival, she greeted us at the entrance.

Highly enjoyed my mountain stay! The view was spectacular, the driveway was bit rockery than anticipated but my Toyota Camry made it up fine! It was very clean and cozy! The hosts did an amazing job at communicating and accommodating our stay. The guest book was adorable and full of fun recommendations of activities to do. I really loved it here, will happily visit this same property on my next stay!! worth the money and the view!! Thanks again!!

Great apartment near downtown Morganton! Perfect weekend getaway. Very clean and welcoming. Would re-book next time we are in the area.

Johhny was very accommodating and even took pictures of us for our 10 year anniversary. We are very thankful for that! It is very comforting to be around like-minded Christians like us. We felt like we were welcome and hope we can go back soon.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lakefront Serenity. The view was beautiful, house cozy, and loved the friendly cats! ❤️ We felt right at home and had everything we needed. The pedal boat was fun, too.

We had a great stay at Susan’s place! A lovely home and perfectly walkable to King Street. Would definitely recommend, we were comfortable and cared for as the home had everything we needed!

Very pretty yard that is fully enclosed (front & back) which is great for bringing a dog. Our dog was quite happy we picked this home because he had other pups to visit with. The outside is very inviting, even though it rained a bit. They have areas that are covered, which are great for this. The inside is clean and neat. The bed was really comfortable and our son thoroughly enjoyed the air mattress. At the right time of year, the fireplace would be amazing. The location is great because it’s close enough to town to be convenient, and right by the Blue Ridge Parkway for hiking.

My family and I stayed during App State graduation weekend. I stay in Airbnb's quite often and this was one of the best I've ever stayed in. I appreciated the lovely decor, working fireplace, CLEANLINESS, comfort of the beds and shower pressure and cozy furniture. The unit is shared in same structure with other apartments and all occupants were quiet and respectful. The view is beautiful. We enjoyed the amenities such as board games and good books. We also cooked a lot and found everything we needed in the well-stocked kitchen. Thank you, Trevor, for sharing this lovely retreat home with us and for the kind and clear communication.

Simon and Julia are super helpful and kind. The place was just as expected, kitchen was fully equipped, everything was clean - and beautiful views. You can hear the neighbors pretty clear upstairs - but you can’t do much about that - plus it was disclosed in the listing. So overall I give 5 stars to Julia and Simon because THEY were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING - super responsive, I will definitely be returning ❤️ p.s. my bro forgot his wallet in the bnb after we checked out and there was absolutely no issue going back to find it - they are a delightful couple.

I had a wonderful stay and a wait to come back ! The place was very cute and quaint, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking — the views alone made it worth the trip. The location was perfect, close to everything I wanted to explore. Being able to soak in the hot tub and use the sauna after all day hiking was fabulous. My host was incredibly helpful and responsive, which made the experience even better. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area

I can not say enough about this beautiful little gem in the woods! It was so well decorated and all the little thoughtful additions, like a bag of local coffee and heated bed covers were just perfect and exactly what I needed for this get away to reconnect with myself and nature. I barely left the condo, because the view was so spectacular and how cozy the home felt! I was visited by a bunch of different birds on the cute patio where I painted a few of them as I sipped coffee and just listened to the breeze ruffle the leaves or rain shower that softly fell! Definitely hope to return very soon!

Trey’s place hit all the marks for what I needed - clean, cozy, comfy, and affordable. Bonus points for an amazing loose leaf tea selection, gorgeous mountain views at sunrise and sunset, and close to everything I wanted to do in the area. (Grandfather Mtn, Linville Falls, Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster were on my list - did them all in a day.) All instructions were clear and easy, and I had everything I needed for an enjoyable weekend away in the NC mountains. Go stay here and support western NC!! I hope to come back again soon :)

This was our third stay at Ronnie's place. The area is beautiful and peaceful. The condo is perfectly decorated and leaves you feeling right at home. Thanks for another great stay!

Thoughtful touches! From little signs with helpful info to ear plugs provided to lovely linens on the bed! This is our second stay here. It feels like you are miles away from the noise of civilization but it only a few minutes up Sugar. So, you have the babbling stream rushing over the rocks out back to listen to, but can get to Food Lion or restaurants in just a few minutes.
