In the cottage, you live a basic life, close to nature in a beautiful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly planted food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, cat, chickens, walking duck, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There is a wood-burning stove.

In de omgeving vind je de mogelijkheid voor veel activiteiten zoals natuur, wandelen, zwemmen, kanovaren, vissen, golfen, paardrijden, museumbezoek, winkel en horeca bezoek, steden, fietsen en minigolf. Bekijk hiervoor zeker ook de reisgids. Wij, Nathanael, Pauline, Grace (5) en Sarelie (0) heten je van harte welkom!

Rural, romantic house with air conditioning (Bella Fiore)

Beautiful holiday home with large bedroom and kitchen with cooking facilities and extractor hood. Also equipped with a refrigerator with freezer and oven/microwave. The cozy living room with rustic style has a 2 x 2 person sofa and dining room table for 4 people. The living room has a wood-burning stove that can be used (wood bags available for €6.00 each). The house is of course equipped with internet and TV. There is a lockable bicycle shed with power connection (charging e-Bike)

Guesthouse The Golden Island

Het Gouden Eiland is located in the annex of a beautiful city villa on the outskirts of the historic village center of Parkstad Veendam. This neighborhood is known as Het Gouden Eiland, a villa neighborhood with houses built in the period 1910-1930. Het Gouden Eiland is in a quiet leafy neighborhood with tall oak trees and wide streets. The apartment has a private entrance, patio with seating, kitchen, shower with toilet, king-size bed (2x 90/210) and is luxuriously finished.

Bedroom with en-suite bathroom (designer radiator, underfloor heating). Private entrance, parking, terrace with seating. Quietly located and only 10 minutes by bike to the center of Veendam. Directly at the entrance of Borgerswold park and a nice starting point for bike rides, don't forget to visit Groningen.

The Tribe: special loft in elementary school

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. We converted the auditorium of the school in which we live as a family, together with an artist, into a special loft with 3 bedrooms. Downstairs are play corners for children and guests are allowed to use the gym where CrossFit lessons are also provided. Behind the school is a great place with sandpit and picnic table where you look out over the Groningen fields. Relax while your children enjoy themselves!

Beautifull chalet/tiny house near "Drentsche Aa"

Our small chalet lies in the middle of the most beautifull nature of the Netherlands: the National Park of the Drentsche Aa and the Unesco Geopark of the Hondsrug, on a very quiet camping. It is furnished light and harmonious. The house is suitable for couples and singles, not for children. Overnight stay with 2 persons maximum. No pets. Non smoking (except on the terrace). Located along the water in Kiel-Windeweer you can find the perfect spot to completely relax. Inside the farmhouse there is a luxurious apartment with everything you need. It has its own private entrance, a private terrace and a place for you to sit along the water so you can enjoy the peace this monumental village brings you. The products for the first breakfast are included!
