This stylish place to stay is perfect for those who love design, nature and hiking. Immersed in the green hills of Friuli, near the Alpe Adria Cycle Route and other destinations of interest (see the guide). Every detail of the interiors has been designed with the utmost care, and with the love for architecture of the hosts. The barn has two floors of 60 sqm (120 sqm total): on the first floor the large and bright living area and on the ground floor the bedroom with bathroom. There is a private furnished garden.

I felt very comfortable at the place. The room was lovingly furnished – rustic, but charming – and perfectly fine for the price. The shared bathroom was very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and I even had the opportunity to spontaneously order dinner on site. The food was really excellent and the price was absolutely fair. The hosts were extremely friendly, attentive and helpful, which made the stay even more pleasant. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely stay here again.

Paolo picked us up and drove with us to show us the house, meaning that we received a very kind and personal history of the place over the last 75 years, which was an amazing experience to start us off. The location of the house is remote (30 min windy but good road), yet, absolutely stunning with beautiful views to the valley. This place is the best for all nature and history lovers. A perfectly renovated, spotless and comfy home up on the mountain with a forest reserve all around. The best were the vultures (Gänsegeier, griffoni). We expected to maybe see 2-3 but observed around 60 of them, how they circles for 2 hours down in the valley all the way above us and for up-close pictures only a few meters away. It is a complete private nature experience, with no-one else around, just wonderful. Then, using the BBQ or just hanging out with the views.

There was an absolutely relaxed atmosphere at the campsite. Everything was super clean. The huts are neither too warm nor too cold, just cozy. The small refrigerator in the hut is completely sufficient. It was a wonderful 5 days!
