The house is 74 sqm on two floors with a small hall, kitchen, bathroom and TV room on the lower floor. Open sleeping loft with two single beds 90x200 and small bedroom with two single beds 90x200. Steep stair to upper floor. Smoking or pets are not allowed. During the coldest season, we would prefer to have your request 48 hours before arrival so we have time to raise the temperature in the cabin.

The accommodation is maximized for 2 adults, but there is also room for 2 small children. Kitchenette equipped with stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee maker. TV and Wi-Fi. Towels and bed linen are included. You will also have access to the laundry room located in the main building. We charge a cleaning fee of SEK 200 for bed linen, etc. However, we expect you to do a fine cleaning before you check out.

It is a perfect starting point for excursions in Dalarna, and in winter, Romme Alpin is 13 minutes away. If you like cross-country skiing, Gyllbergen offers low-mountain-like nature. Locally, you can take a walk/run in Smäcken or Frostbrunnsdalen, explore the spring streams, take a ride on the river, or a dip, or visit the ostriches a bike ride away. Electric car charging is available.

Vi har renoverat vårt gårdshus med kunskap om byggnadsvård, miljö och hållbarhet. Äggoljetemperans vackra kulörer pryder väggarna och äkta linoljefärg är en självklarhet i ett hus från sent 1800-tal. Fina kakelugnar värmer skönt och köket är stort och rymligt Vintertid finns fina förutsättningar för skidåkning för längd och utförsåkning vid Romme alpin. En c:a 8 km lång skridskobana plogas på vår sjö med anslutning c:a 100 meter från gården. Huset är beläget nära städerna Falun och Borlänge.

In our cozy, bright, fully-equipped little cottage, you live undisturbed and take care of yourself. The cottage has four regular beds, a guest bed, TV, WiFi, fridge, freezer, oven, stove, microwave, shower, toilet, washing machine, kitchen utensils, barbecue and patio with furniture in summer. You have your own entrance with a code lock and come down the stairs directly into the apartment, which has its own toilet with shower, a kitchenette with fridge and the possibility to cook. We who live in the house are me, Ola and my wife Theresa and our two boys born in 2017 and 2021.
