Family-friendly holiday rentals in Dalarna County

It was a beautiful house on an amazing location. Because we arrived in the dark, the path was a bit difficult to find, but the explanation helped a lot. We really enjoyed the house and the area.

We used the house with 2 adults and our dogs. The cozy and at the same time upscale amenities made it easy for us to feel right at home. At moderate winter temperatures, it was not so often necessary to turn on the fireplace; but prepared firewood would have been available. The underfloor heating has tempered the house very comfortably. We had our own ski equipment with us, but Svein had also offered us his equipment and that of his wife. Very nice contact with Svein.

Great place to stay! Clean, secluded and quiet, good and efficient communication. Plus for sauna and hot tub!

A hidden gem with everything that you can dream of during your stay in Järvsö.

Maria & Manfred's house is absolutely amazing. Nothing is missing and everything was clean and delicious. It was easy to get to and from - both alpine and cross-country slopes and both old and children had a wonderful week.

Picked this place after finding a day trip with horses nearby for my daughters. Very good luck with this unique place, the cottage is very nice and cozily furnished. Lovely heater and cozy lights everywhere. Through the app got good tips with things we could do, we tried to do as much of it as possible. The hosts were incredibly friendly, compliments for what you put there. We ate outside at the specially furnished place for guests, where we also tried the hot tub and sauna. It was a very successful few days.

Great cottage beautifully located next to a little lake. Susanne was very helpful and nice and came up with lots of great tips on everything from what to do in the surroundings and how to succeed with the pizza oven. Lovely with both hot tub and sauna (and ice!). Was great to stay two families with three children in total, and much to entertain the kids with in the yard.

Couldn’t be better. A true find. We stayed in Lena’s house for a week of meditation and it was awesome. She was very supportive and we hope to be back.

Plenty of space inside and outside the house and a very nice view. Nature in your backyard!

We stayed 2 nights in the house to go the baton vase, we were very satisfied. Nicely located, well equipped and Sofia responded quickly and was helpful when we had questions. Highly recommend and hope to come back next year.

We felt very comfortable in Cina's house. The view from the living room is breathtaking. The kitchen is very large and well equipped. The mattresses with the bunk beds could be thicker and we missed a kettle. We would still book the house again anytime.

We felt very welcomed by Ulla and Eamonn. It felt very homely and cozy and everything needed was there. Was there anything we would just knock and ask, it was never a problem. It was clean and fresh, luxurious with made beds. Good with parking in the yard. Close to both the pulse of the city and the historic mine. We would be glad to come back!

What a beautiful place! A lovely cottage on the grounds of Marjolanda, where we enjoyed the silence, the forest and the sauna. Everything was very neat and carefully cared for and maintained, both the cottage and the garden around it. And communication with Marjolanda was quick and easy. Top!

Super quaint and cute cabin for a relaxing disconnect from the world. Lots of great hiking spots nearby. Great host! Really enjoyed all our conversations together :)

I stayed with my family for 2 nights and I felt like I should have stayed even longer. It was beautiful house with fully equipped kitchen. The backyard is amazing , my son enjoyed it a lot. Looking forward to stay with you again Thanks

The house is stunning, spacious, and very well-equipped—perfect for a group of 9, including 4 children( can accommodate almost 13 people). The kids absolutely loved the games and amenities designed for them, which kept them entertained throughout the stay. The outdoor BBQ grill was a great bonus—we had a lovely time cooking and enjoying meals together in the serene surroundings. The location is peaceful and picturesque, making it a truly relaxing getaway. Highly recommended for families or groups looking for a memorable stay!

Very nice accommodation with good kitchen and relaxation

We experienced our stay as very nice. The cottage is cute and cozy and all that is needed is present. The beds have good mattresses, in short, recommended as far as we are concerned! The host Richard also responds very quickly to questions.

I had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The jacuzzi and sauna worked perfectly and added a special touch to the experience. The host was extremely helpful, responsive, and kind—he made everything easy and comfortable. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and communication was always quick and clear. Cozy cottage with great amenities. Hosts were very helpful and quick to respond. Close to the lake and nature, and a great spot for two families with small kids.

The property itself is located in a serene midst of meadows. Accommodations was squeaky clean, had all the amenities as mentioned. Washrooms & kitchen were spotless. The living room and bedroom was spacious you have so much to do in the accommodation itself. Kitchen had all the cooking utensils , cutlery and equipment’s. The hosts were so helpful and humble ! It was an amazing Airbnb so far I’ve been to wish to come back here every year and stay longer days.
