As we who rent out have a breeding of Maine Coon cats, they can sometimes be seen from the cabin windows that wet out onto the cat garden. The window at the bedside stove wets out onto the horse garden. Welcome!

Approximately 800 meters to Lugnet's outdoor area with cross country tracks, bathhouse, bike trails and Dalarna college. 3 min drive to the city center and grocery stores.

Welcome to our holiday home! Located in the heart of Dalarna, 20km north of Falun, on its own peninsula. Recharge your batteries with relaxing summer days in the sun and beautiful sunsets over the lake from the patio. I autumn, the trees show their full spectrum of colors and the darker evenings you spend in front of our cozy fireplace. In winter visit Bjursås Ski Center for nice downhill skiing & Sörskog for good cross-country skiing trails, or ice fish & skate on the lake outside the door.

Gammelgården

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop 4 min walk. The house is timbered in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from the death of the wastehouse when it was moved here. The decor is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Slappna av i detta lugna, mysiga boende i underbara Vassbo som är placerat mitt emellan Falun och Borlänge. Här kan du enkelt på sommaren hoppa ner i vattnet på badplatsen som är 100meter bort eller varför inte åka skridskor på vintern. Skidor kan du åka både längd och utför i närheten, varför inte ta en tripp till Romme alpint över dagen! Precis bakom tomten så finns det en äppellund med över 100 äppelsorter. Huset är byggd bredvid vackra Vassboherrgård och är ett perfekt boende året om.
