Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Bourg-en-Lavaux

We stayed in a spacious accommodation spread across four floors, featuring one bedroom on the ground floor and another on the second floor. The property is conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from a small train station, making it relatively easy to reach—especially if you're arriving via a larger hub like Montreux. However, it's important to note that while the location is scenic and peaceful, the nearby train station is very small and there are no shops in the immediate vicinity. We arrived late and hadn't realized that basic shopping (e.g., milk, butter, kitchen roll, hand towels for the kitchen) needed to be done in advance or in a larger town. Très bon accueil dans ce havre de paix. Le lieu est calme, dans la verdure. Le fumoir est bien agencé et décoré avec goût. Une jolie terrasse permet de prendre son repas en regardant la vue incroyable sur la plaine. J'ai beaucoup apprécié ce séjour, idéal pour se ressourcer. Un grand merci à Soraya.

Ce gîte est une véritable pépite. Nous n’avons pas eu l’occasion de rencontrer notre hôte en personne, mais notre communication via Airbnb a été fluide et efficace. Tout correspondait parfaitement à nos attentes ainsi qu’à la description du site. Le chalet, idéalement situé, offre un équipement complet et une vue magnifique. La cuisine et la salle à manger sont particulièrement fonctionnelles, tandis que le salon, avec son poêle à bois, dégage une atmosphère chaleureuse. La terrasse et les extérieurs sont également très agréables. Ses points forts ? Un espace parfaitement adapté pour six adultes, avec une literie de grande qualité. Je recommande sans hésitation ce lieu exceptionnel.

Court séjour très appréciable. J'ai aimé la présence de la climatisation avec les fortes chaleurs, il faisait frais dans les chambres même en mezzanine. Les deux plages en contrebas du village très peu fréquentées et le calme paisible du village à deux pas de la suisse en vélo.

Ich hatte eine großartige Erfahrung bei Nathalie und Avo! Sie waren immer erreichbar und haben schnell auf meine Fragen geantwortet, was den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht hat. Das Haus war äußerst sauber und schön eingerichtet, mit einem wunderschönen, gemütlichen Garten, in dem man wunderbar entspannen konnte. Insgesamt war alles sehr gepflegt und sauber – ich kann dieses Zuhause nur weiterempfehlen!

Annie’s place was perfect for our stay near Montreux! Bigger than I expected based on the photos, so it was nice to spread out with our group of 6. My kids loved the dart board and those views from the balconies can’t be beat. Annie was so sweet and easy to communicate with. Her little touches made for the best few days!

Wunderschönes Haus, direkt am Genfer See. Badestelle zu Fuß erreichbar (200m). Genügend Parkplätze. Terrasse rund um das Haus mit See und Bergblick. Schön ruhig. Beste Unterkunft die ich jemals hatte.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à Gstaad. L'appartement est très bien situé et parfaitement équipé. Le balcon est spacieux et bien aménagé. Le contact avec Bill et Didi était excellent. Un grand merci pour votre confiance.

Ich kann die Wohnung von Jasmin uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Jasmin und Adam waren äußerst freundlich und stets für uns ansprechbar. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Besonders beeindruckend war der traumhafte Ausblick auf die Berge. Auch die Umgebung hat uns begeistert – sie bietet viele schöne Orte und faszinierende Aussichten. Ein Auto ist jedoch unbedingt zu empfehlen. Lediglich die Küche ist etwas klein und für eine große Familie, die selbst kochen möchte, nur bedingt geeignet.

Really interesting place to stay. Modern with first class facilities and high tec. Great kitchen and bathrooms. We ate on the balcony in the canopy of trees and with a view of the mountains. Titus was really responsive to our questions and a great host.

I stayed at Matthieu’s place for three nights while visiting my kid who’s studying in Switzerland. The view was absolutely stunning, and the interior felt like something out of the Ritz Carlton. Clearly, Christelle and Matthieu put a lot of care into every detail. The Wi-Fi was also super fast, which was a big plus. Both Christelle and Matthieu were warm and welcoming. We had some great conversations during my stay. The location is just a 5–7 minute walk from the train station. Unless you're traveling with more than two people, I’d recommend skipping the rental car and going with one or two Eurail business class pass instead. Thank you again, Christelle and Matthieu! Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour, dans un environnement tellement paisible face aux montagnes et avec en prime le chant des oiseaux. Jackie et Éric ont été disponibles pour nous accueillir à l’arrivée et pour notre départ. Ils sont également fort chaleureux. Je vous recommande vivement ce logement.

Excellent séjour chez Fabien, hôte très réactif et aux petits soins..Son appartement est bien situé, très très bien équipé, cosy et impeccable. N'hésitez surtout pas si vous souhaitez visiter cette belle région, son logement est au top pour passer quelques jours à Thonon et ses environs.

Nous étions 4 adultes. Notre hôte nous a reçus avec toute sa gentillesse et tout était prévu, même le café et le savon de douche. Beau jardin au sud. Bonne literie (3x lit double) et lits faits à l’arrivée. Seul bémol: les cloisons entre chambres sont assez minces et on entend ronfler les voisins. William est un hôte à recommander et nous y reviendrons.

Amazing place in a great location with many activities to do in the region. Charlène made sure we had everything we needed (with some complimentary goodies!). From information on what to do, how to get there (bikes were included), to a fully equipped kitchen and an amazing bathroom. Fully recommend to anyone looking for a quite getaway with fun activities and great sights.

Wir haben 9 erholsame und interessante Tage in Daniels schönem Haus verbracht. Das Haus war sehr sauber, die Ausstattung so, wie beschrieben. Nach vielen Wanderungen und Ausflügen in der wunderschönen Gegend haben wir manchmal bei einem aus Daniels Hausbar Pastis Zeit in „unserem“ Garten verbracht, wo gerade Jasmin und Lavendel blühten. Daniel hat uns herzlich empfangen und mit guten Tipps versorgt. Daniel war uns ein perfekter Gastgeber und immer erreichbar und ansprechbar. Wir können die schöne Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

This is a real dream place. The house has absolutely everything to spend an amazing break by the lake. Nicolas is an incredible host and was very attentive to any minor detail that we needed. We left today and we are already looking forward to coming back. Thanks for everything.

We loved staying in this French villa! My kids (3, 5 and 7) spent hours in the backyard while we hung out on the terrace and stared at the view! The house is gorgeous and thoughtfully designed - we felt right at home. It’s an easy drive to Annecy and surrounding area - we also did a day trip to Chamonix. The bakery down the hill also has amazing chocolate croissants. Thanks for a great stay!
