Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Bova Marina

Stayed in this lovely apartment with my boyfriend whilst visiting Taormina. Location couldn’t have been better right in the old town with all the best restaurants right on our door step. The cable cars to the beach were only a 5 minute walk away too! Lovely big terrace and amazing views with Etna in the distance. Only catch is it is the top floor which is great for the views but not for the faint hearted on the stairs! Would definitely stay again :)

Nous sommes venus passés deux nuits avec mon conjoint chez Katerina et Andrea et l’accueil était top, hôtes très gentils et de bons conseils. Nous nous sommes croisés plusieurs fois et ils ont toujours eu un petit mot gentil et des recommandations. Appartement très bien placé et vue de la terrasse superbe. Nous recommandons !

We had a fantastic week at Gabriella’s place. Super easy location to access Taormina. Great set up with 2 bedrooms, new bathroom and an outdoor space with a view. It took a little bit to get the house cool, but once we got a system to manage the heat we were good. No lift means you need to take the stairs! Not a bad thing, just an FYI. I would recommend Gabriella’s place

The apartment looks great, newly remodeled, like new. Beautiful view. Not walkable to restaurant or bars it’s about 15 minute drive. However, the host provided valet Parking service, which was excellent. The host is very friendly and great to work with. We would definitely stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Taormina! The location is fantastic—just off the main bustling pedestrian street, making it easy to explore the city and all the attractions. The property itself was lovely, very clean, and spacious with plenty of room to relax and good air conditioning (very much needed during our stay). It felt very private and safe. The host was extremely helpful and responsive, always quick to answer any questions. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Taormina!

Spent a very nice 3 nights here, and very happy with our stay. Had excellent pizzas at local restaurants recommended by Gabriella, and nearby bakery was top notch. Absolutely requires a car. If you can handle Sicilian driving then the driveway is not a big deal. Plan on 1 hour drives to Etna, Taormina, Catania.

This was an incredible place with a beautiful view. Really perfect and exactly what we were looking for. There was also the added bonus of a concierge, Alessandra, who helped us organize transit to and from the airport, car rental, took a grocery order for us so we’d arrive to a stocked kitchen, and organized tour with a guide for us. Alessandra was excellent and incredibly attentive. She definitely made this a unique and exceptional Airbnb experience that really exemplified hospitality.

Wir hatten das kleine Apartment für zwei Nächte. Ausstattung und auch Lage sind hervorragend, nur ein paar Meter von der Fußgängerzone entfernt. Eine große Dachterrasse steht zur gemeinsamem Nutzung zur Verfügung. Vincenzo und sein Sohn haben uns gute Tipps für die Umgebung und Restaurants gegeben. Kommunikation und Sercive waren hervorragend. Vielen Dank an beide an dieser Stelle:-)

We spend wonderful week at Alfio's place. All good reviews are hundred percent correct. View is amazing! Flat is very clean and cosy. There is air conditioning for every room separately. It's everything what you need and even more. Flat is simple but everything is solid and good quality. The area is great. All aperitivo we had on the terrace was with amazing view, quiet area and we were really satisfied. Hosts are very helpful and were responding to us very fast :) We will go back for sure :) Grazie di cuore :)

Melania è stata gentile e disponibile da subito. La casa è super carina e comoda. Immersa nel parco naturale, vicina alle gole dell'Alcantara. Tranquilla e rilassante ma comunque non distante al centro abitato. La famiglia di Melania, che abita al piano di sotto, si è resa disponibile per qualsiasi cosa. Torneremo molto volentieri e lo consiglierò ad amici.

Fie Begegnung mit Maria Giovanna und Emmanuele war von Anfang sehr herzlich. Sie brachten uns gute Dinge aus ihrem Garten, und wir kamen gleich in ein längeres Gespräch. Wir haben dabei auch alles Wichtige erfahren. Auch die Einrichtung der Wohnung hat uns gut gefallen. Wir haben uns gleich zu Hause gefühlt.

Feels like a small slice of typical, peaceful, Sicilian life, just by the busy tourist town of Taormina. The steps are really something (as they’re clear about in the description) but completely worth it to have the most incredible view. Also on the way down, it really takes no time at all to get straight into the middle of everything. The house itself is spacious, clean and comfortable. Alessandro and Graziella are such amazing hosts and people, they are around to help with whatever you may need. Thank you both so much for having us, it was lovely to meet you!

Alors déjà l appartement est magnifique, on s y s en bien, très chaleureux, tout y est on manque de rien. De plus Isidoro est un hôte charmant, très amical et de très bon conseil … dommage qu on est pas pu rester plus longtemps pour faire plus connaissance ☺️ ! Il apporte un «  plus «  au lieu. Encore merci et belle continuation !🤩

Die Unterkunft liegt etwas höher gelegen, ist mit einem Auto aber gut zu erreichen. Am ersten Tag wurden wir von Mario im Ort abgeholt, um den Weg kennenzulernen. Auf dem Gelände befindet sich ein kleiner Obstgarten. Je nach Jahreszeit könnt ihr frische Orangen, Mandarinen Zitronen etc. frisch vom Baum ernten. Ebenfalls angepflanzt sind einige Kräuter wie Minze oder Basilikum. Die Unterkunft selbst ist klein, schnuckelig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben das Haus so wie das Gelände sauber vorgefunden. An der einen oder anderen Stelle fehlt es ein wenig an Küchenausstattung. Für eine Woche war es aber auszuhalten. Das Badezimmer ist sehr modern und hat alles was man braucht. Der WLAN Empfang war ausreichend, es kam allerdings immer wieder zu Störungen. Das absolute Highlight der Anlage ist das Obergeschoss mit Pool mit Blick auf das Meer und den Ätna. Floriana & Mario waren jederzeit für uns erreichbar und gaben uns noch den ein oder anderen Ausflugstipp.

Thank you so much, Nino. It was our daughter’s first holiday away, and it was very special in part because of the beautiful house and surroundings, and Nino and his family’s hosting. Nothing was too much trouble, we are very grateful (especially the cute rocking chair) ☺️ restaurant recommendations and also booked us a table, where we were greeted with open arms. Grazie mille!

Already miss this lovely place which became our dream Sicilian country home for three nights! Located in a peaceful gardens area, accompanied by lovely doggies, Mathilde's place gave us a feeling of coziness and freedom. I can only regret that our busy programme didn't allow us to meet with her in person but she was ver approachable and easy going. If you are looking for a quite place near to Naxos and Taormina, and a good starting point for Etna - don't hesitate to book this place :)

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, die Terasse ist ein Traum und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Man hat alles was man braucht.

Primeiramente, senti-me um filho do Giovanni (anfitrião). Solicito, educado, resolve todos os problemas com urgência. Além de fazer um grande amigo na Sicília. O lugar não tem o que se falar: fica amassado por um litoral paradisíaco e o imponente Vulcão Etna, além de ficar próximo de cidades turísticas. Somos uma família que demanda de uma ótima infraestrutura, espaço e funcionamento perfeito, pois temos gêmeos e 1 ano. Então o apartamento supriu nossas necessidades em 100%. Além disso, Giovanni é um ótimo guia turístico e conheço a Sicília como poucos. Antes de procurar qualquer empresa para passeios turísticos, deem um conversada com ele. Ele é sensacional. Fizemos um grande amigo e já estamos com saudade. Abração amigo.

We had an amazing time at Giovanni‘s apartment was big and beautiful and the pool was amazing. And for an extra fee he picked us up from the airport and dropped us back afterwards. Beautiful clean apartment and large balcony. Great functional kitchen and large bedrooms. Easy walk into town there’s lots of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. Will definitely be back!

Lejligheden er ikke den største, men ligger centralt og man når nemt ned på hovedgaden, med forretninger og restauranter. indretningen er smagfuld og den er i 2 etager. På den øverste etage er der udgang til en lille terresse med udsigt over havet. trappen til førstesalen er en meget smal vindeltrappe. På førstesalen ligger der et lille køkken, som kunne være bedre udstyret. Der var f.eks ingen proptrækker til vinen. Ellers en dejlig lille lejlighed. Man skal dog være godt gående, da den ligger på tredie sal og trapperne er ret stejle, med lidt plads.

Vriendelijk ontvangst en super gunstig gelegen ten opzichte van het drukke centrum . Zou het iedereen aanbevelen. Alleen een trappetje af en door de stadspoort het centrum in. Voor mensen die goed ter been zijn!

This gorgeous apartment really made you feel like you were immersed in the area with its beautiful artwork on every wall and every piece of furniture you look at. Very close to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants. The host was very responsive and when I asked for local recommendations they provided me with a ve RT comprehensive list of restaurants, pasticcerias, beach clubs and everything you could want, not just for Letojanni but for the surrounding areas. Very kind and truly cared about the experience they were providing. Make sure you visit Ristorante Victor (I recommend the mussels, I had them twice), a great recommendation from the host. This is a beautiful, modern 10th floor apartment. It is clean and very comfortable. There are two balconies, one with a view of the ocean, the other a view of Mt. Etna. Dedicated parking inside a locked compound. It’s a short walk to the waterfront. The nearest beaches are mostly volcanic boulders. For a truly sandy beach you will need to drive about 7 km. Most of the communication was with Francesca’s father, Mike. He was very responsive and helpful. There is a small park near the water at the end of the street. It’s a nice place to take a stroll and grab a gelato or panino. Would definitely recommend this place.

Posto adatto a famiglia con bambini con spazi ampi sia all'interno che all'esterno (con un bel terrazzo dove si può mangiare,i bimbi possono giocare). Rosa e suo marito sono stati gentilissimi e cortesi. Posizione ottima per potersi spostare e visitare. Sicuramente se torneremo in zona torneremo lì. C'è tutto il necessario in bagno ed in cucina. Super consigliato!
