Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Breckland District

We have stayed in many Airbnb's in this country and abroad but this place in Tatterford was by far and wide the best we have ever had the pleasure of booking and staying in. Everything exceeded our expectations and we loved every minute we spent there.

Rebecca was very responsive from booking to check out. Very friendly and approachable. The accommodation exceeded all expectations. Beautiful cottage, had everything we needed and more. The food was a lovely surprise! Thank you. The toiletries were amazing too (they smell divine!). Very comfortable to relax and sleep. Really hope to come again and stay longer next time! So much more to explore!

What can I say that hasn’t already been said in previous reviews. Marian was a fabulous host and also Michelle, who oversees the running of Old Chapel House. We arrived to find the table in the kitchen all set out for dinner. Great fun was had in the evening playing croquet in the fabulous garden and then games around the kitchen table. Fresh flowers in each of the rooms was a lovely touch. Knowing one of my sons was home for our family wedding at Waxham Barn, Marian had arranged an Australian pineapple cake for us to enjoy, together with locally sourced marmalade and apple juice. It was also helpful to find plenty of items such as tea, coffee, condiments etc. My one request to my family was for a slice of sourdough bread, delivered on the Saturday morning, be left for me after having my hair and makeup done. Sadly, it had all been demolished! The house clearly was a previously well loved family home. We had a fantastic stay and will most definitely be returning.

Great place will be back in the future

This was a lovely and comfortable home for the 3 of us. Best part was the incredible outdoor garden and terrace. We enjoyed the games and books provided too. It was quiet and peaceful. Hannah was very friendly and responsive. Overall a great stay. One word of caution - the road passes very close by the front door, so it’s best to be very careful when exiting (especially for those who normally look left for traffic).

We booked Oak Barn to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary with all the family. We were blessed with a long weekend of beautiful weather. In fact it was so nice that we ate nearly all our meals al fresco in the garden which was fully enclosed meaning that our two dogs could wander in and out of the house. Rosie thoughtfully messaged us when we arrived to give us pointers on how to keep the house cool. The Barn is spacious and spotlessly clean with quality bed linen, towels and toiletries provided. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. The layout in the house is perfect for extended or multigenerational families. It’s situated in a quiet country lane but within a few minutes you can be in Wroxham and the coast within half an hour. There was an excellent house manual with lots of suggestions for things to do but the weather was so warm that we tended to stay fairly local. All in all this was one of the best properties we have stayed in.

Lovely, relaxing stay here with 3 adults and 2 dogs. The house was beautifully decorated and felt very homely. Beds were very comfortable and everything we needed was provided. Netflix available on TV and a secluded garden to sit in if you wanted to. Even though the property is in the owners garden, it felt very private. Lots of walking to be found in the National Trust garden and woodland, which is right behind the house. We ate at the dog friendly Six Bells pub 5 minutes down the road and the food and service were excellent. Thank you to the hosts for a wonderful stay.

The house is comfortable, beautiful and spacious. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the sitting room has a wide variety of books to enjoy. All the rooms are furnished to a high standard . Cate is an excellent communicator and I was confident that she would have dealt with any query that we might have had.

We had a fantastic stay at lakeside view. So peaceful and beautiful surroundings being situated right by the lake. Jean was a great host, super helpful and responsive. The lodge was even better than we were expecting. Would definitely recommend

The Gig House was fantastic. Beautifully presented and exactly as described. Situated within beautifully maintained grounds, and just a few seconds stroll to the spa, it was absolutely perfect for our girly getaway! Tan and Hannah’s communication was excellent and they were very helpful. Plus the spa was great, friendly staff, great treatments and lovely outdoor jacuzzi pool with sun loungers to relax and lap up the sunshine. Who could ask for more!

We had such a lovely time. Location was peaceful and the accommodation was perfectly placed for planned activities and so close to the beach. Inside was clean and lovely and warm and Hannah was fantastic at answering any questions very quickly and also making sure we were settled in. Thank you.

I didn’t stay there myself, I booked the place for my co-workers coming over from London , but they said the place was very nice!

Having Autistic children makes holidays very difficult for us, but this was the best holiday we’ve had! The pool was by far the best bit, we spent hours in it everyday. It was warm and very clean. The cottage was cozy and had everything you needed. Great location, so much to do within a short drive and lovely beaches. We’ll definitely be back again. Thank you Andy and Fi xx

Thanks to Max for letting us use this lovely space. Myself and my partner booked in to get away for a few days and this place was exactly what we needed. Quiet, cosy and tucked away but still able to access all of the activities we planned in Norfolk. The house was spotless clean and you can tell Max has put a lot of thought into the amenities provided (even down to the ice lollies in the freezer!) The hot tub was a perfect touch to relax in the garden with some music on and some bubbles. The stay was amazing. Thank You!

A stunning place. A beautiful and peaceful garden. Lots of wildlife deer, hares, etc. Super comfortable beds.

Lovely flat with really nice fixtures and fittings. Owners very responsive. Easy acces via key box and clear instruction. Great base if you want to see North Norfolk. If you don't, it's a very good location with pubs and takeaways within short walking distance.

We stayed to attend a very local family wedding and it was perfect. Very comfortable and even better than the photos! Very clean and well equipped. Yvonne was lovely and the perfect host. Generous and thoughtful welcome gifts. Would definitely stay again

Wonderful stay at the cozy cottage. We had a last minute change of guests and Rebecca was very accommodating. Gorgeous house, lovely location and a fantastic stay.

What a lovely cottage everything we needed for our stay. Everywhere was spotless. Nice garden area that our Westie Ted liked to sit in watching the rabbits. Great dog walks from the front door, lots of birds and wildlife. Would definitely recommend.

Teresa is a very responsive and friendly host. greeted us when we arrived and had recommendations for a meal. left milk in the fridge which was very welcome. would definitely recommend her place.

We arrived late Saturday evening after a day at the beach and it was really easy to find, access and was lovely and clean, which was nice after a long day out. In the morning we met Anne and had a lovely chat and our kids played with her boy and we were really made to feel welcome. It’s a beautiful tiny village that’s very quiet but close enough to drive to some beautiful beaches and other villages and towns with more to do.
