The place if you want a quiet, peaceful getaway surrounded by the best of the Suffolk countryside. We had amazing weather for our one night stay. The bath was brilliant (takes a while to fill, bear in mind). The cabin was cosy and homely. I can imagine a winter stay would be equally wonderful. Being a Sunday evening and wanting a more substantial meal than was available at the closer (and offering food), we walked the The Poachers Pocket. About 1hr 10 mins at a leisurely pace along quiet lanes and bridleway. Looked like there was all you'd need to cook at the cabin and a large fridge. Would recommend to family and friends.

We had a fantastic stay at Gary’s lodge! The place was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family. The kids absolutely loved the pool. Gary was a great host, very welcoming and responsive. We’d happily stay again. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay here with our family, it had everything we needed, pleasantly warm and the hosts were very helpful going out of their way to help us before they left for the evening.

The quality of the accommodation is second to none with the smallest things thought about and catered for. It's bright, modern, comfortable and set in a beautiful field overlooking lovely, expansive views. Whilst the cabins sit side by side, they have been cleverly spaced and shielded with trees so that you are completely unaware that you have neighbours. The pizza and hot tub were fantastic additions and we came as a family with oldies, a four yr old and three dogs, finding everyone extremely well catered for. There was plenty of space to walk and run the dogs uninhibited and an excellent play area that kept the little one busy. Add to this her daily trip to the hens to look for eggs and she was delighted. We would highly recommend to any age group, families and just dog parents as there was plenty of parking and no corners have been cut, meaning everything has been done to make one’s stay really comfortable and well served. We definitely give it ten out of ten!

Amazing lodge, very clean and had all the amenities needed. We stayed for 1 night for my husband’s birthday and the little touches were lovely. A bottle of prosecco and orange juice plus milk in the fridge, toiletries in the bathroom and robes for the hot tub! The hot tub was so nice, especially sitting inside and taking in the views! A wonderfully cosy place where we were able to truly unwind. The fully enclosed garden was perfect for sunbathing and enjoying the peaceful sounds of birds and nature. The house itself is comfortable, well-appointed, and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The jacuzzi was an absolute treat – a perfect way to relax at the end of the day. We really appreciated the attention to detail, and felt right at home.

Stay was lovely was very relaxing the hot tub was amazing and I enjoyed it very much the cabin was very clean and wonderful to stay in 10/10 :)

We had a lovely time at Natalies lodge. The surroundings were beautiful and really peaceful and it felt very safe for our little girl to play out the front. Close to the local village of Weybourne and the holiday park. All very lovely - many thanks for having us.

Loved our couple of nights in this wonderful cabin. Cozy but spacious and very comfortable and well equipped. Quiet, peaceful location. Highly recommend the wine tour. Would definitely stay again.

Me and my boyfriend had an amazing and relaxing holiday in this cottage! We found it to be a cosy and peaceful place to stay! Our major highlights was the outdoor bath, the fire pit where we made s’mores and a hamper the hosts left us with. Overall we highly recommend the opportunity to stay at the Millers Shed because of the location, the cottage itself and the great hospitality provided!

We visited for the weekend. Fabulous place so quiet, lovely walks on the property. Place had everything we needed. Host was really nice.

Wonderful weekend in the countryside we never wanted to leave!

We had a nice stay in the Bothy, tastefully decorated. Friendly hosts. Nice nature, beach, towns and meals in the area - in particular at The Hero pub! Also Bang in Well for breakfast. Note that some may not enjoy using the ladder to the loft bed.

Partner, Labrador and I stayed in Laura's cabin for a few days, as a mini escape from work. Secluded in the back corner of the Host garden we had our cosy abode. Idyllic area, with plenty of footpaths and walks to explore, and not a single neighbour or road bustle to interrupt the sound of the woodland! A lovely place for a short break, and well placed for enjoying the area.

Myself and my two children had a lovely time at the pod. Perfect for what we needed, lovely site too with clean facilities and a great park for the kids to play in, would recommend and visit again, thank you. 😊

Barney’s Barn is absolutely delightful. Finished to a high standard and very tastefully decorated. Set in a very peaceful location with lovely walks on the doorstep and Woodbridge close by. It was nice to meet Hannah as we departed, such thoughtful hosts. Curious Retreats responded promptly to any questions and were very helpful. We would certainly book with them again and return to Barney’s Barn for a longer stay next time. Our stay was too short. Casper, our little dog felt at home immediately! Thank you again to Hannah and Kev and to Curious Retreats.

A beautiful setting, the dome in the garden was a real added bonus and the garden lights and decor were a lovely touch. So much outside space, you could easily add another cabin and still have I plenty of privacy and space. Well equipped kitchen and very clean bathroom. We couldn’t get to WiFi to connect and the tv signal was patchy but didn’t bother us as we didn’t really need either. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We stayed at the hut as we were at a wedding close-by. It was absolutely perfect. A truly special place. Beautifully appointed with a rustic charm, a very comfy bed, amazing shower, and all the basics you would need (kettle, hob, coffee, fresh milk etc) Jo was a perfect host too. We wished we could have stayed longer!

We had a lovely stay with the dog! Particularly enjoyed the paddock behind and saying morning to the neighbouring horses. Views amazing from the cabin and plenty of nearby walks. We strolled into the village and visited a local tea room for lunch and spotted 3 deers on route on the old railway walk. Bed was comfortable and all amenities to hand! Hope to stay again!

A great stay for our family. The perfect getaway from the madness of every day parent life! We enjoyed a 2 hour exploration across the acres of land nearby and some relaxation in the well maintained hot tub. The place was a home from home and extremely well kept. In the evening there were a few creepy crawlies, but expected in the countryside! The king sized bed was ever so comfy and the children slept well in the single bedroom next door. We would 100% recommend this place and would love to come back in the near future.
