Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Bregaglia

Wow. One of the best air bnbs that we have ever stayed in. The place is even better than the photos. The outside space is private with an amazing view of the lake. Laglio was a perfect place for us, quiet and authentic. We took the bus and ferries to get around as we were without a car. As long as you are organised and ready for a busy bus it’s completely doable without a car. Nico’s food recommendations were all excellent. Our favourite place was the family butchers / cafe close to the apartment. We went there nearly every day for drinks, steak, meats and cheese. We also cooked some basic meals at the apartment which we recommend as it’s a lovely space. Nico and Wendy were amazing hosts, so helpful, responsive and accommodating. Thoroughly recommend this place and we are already looking at their other properties for another holiday! Book now ☺️

This home is incredible. The view is stunning. But it is a decent hike up to the house. If you come by ferry it would take 30 mins from terminal to get to the home with many steps. Very challenging with a heavy suitcase. If you come by car it will take approximately 10-15 mins. Lots of stairs. Pack light if you’re able to. The home itself is over 3 levels by a spiral staircase. Bring light luggage if possible. The deck is so nice to spend time on. Lovely, memorable home with a friendly helpful host. Will never forget this beautiful place

Andreas place is great. Extremely clean and tidy. Had everything we needed for our stay in lake como. The view is stunning. It’s also in a good location. Great host, very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend. Only thing to note is dervio is a 15/20min walk for the nearest trains and busses which we didn’t mind as enjoy walking.

Absolutely rustic and beautiful in every way. Off the beaten path but perfect for the views, quiet, and seclusion. We will never for get this stay and all of the valleys we explored while we were there.

Thank you Ursula for this amazing stay in your chalet. An authentic and peaceful experience in the nature surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, flower fields, and the forest. The historical house is super clean, decorated with care and has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Ursula even baked a bread and a Zopf for us, both delicious 😍 we could also order food from their farm, like cheese, eggs and meat. It was difficult to leave this quiet heaven. Thank you again Ursula & Ernst for the perfect stay in Safien.

Our stay was truly unforgettable in a private and evocative context. We really appreciated the barbecue and the sauna, which made relaxation even better. In addition, the accommodation was in impeccable condition: clean and cared for in every detail.

The property is very spacious and is located in a quiet hillside place. Everything necessary was available on-site. We met Alessia and her family in person and the two are very nice, helpful and easily accessible at all times. The only drawback is the wifi and cell phone reception.

We were very warmly welcomed by Silvia. Check in was very smooth. We felt very comfortable in the apartment and enjoyed spending time there. Silvia gave us great tips for the area. The absolute highlight is the balcony and the pool. We will be happy to come back!

This place is amazing! The quiet nights on the patio, or walking down to the lake to enjoy the lights in the castle with evening setting on Lake Como were so wonderfully relaxing. I would recommend to anyone wanting to escape the insanity of Varenna. Other pluses. Town parking pass for Dervio. Amazing breakfast waiting for the ferry there, full kitchen for spectacular sunset meals with the best view of the lake!

Staying in Como wouldn’t be complete without experiencing Paola’s place! It was truly one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. Paola is a warm and wonderful host who made us feel right at home. The apartment, the terrace, and the view were all absolutely stunning. We’re already looking forward to coming back — this will definitely be our go-to spot in Como!

Very clean and neat top floor apartment, awesome for family stay. Great interior design and all the appliances one may need. Astonishing view from the balcony. It was cozy even during heavy rain. Secure parking on the premises, which is big deal in the area that has shortage of parking spaces. The host was absolutely amazing and willing to go an extra mile to make our arrival, stay, and departure comfortable. A couple of tips: Drive up the hill appears to be a bit steep and narrow for someone used to wider roads. Good pizza place close by. A nice hike further up the hill. The locals start driving early and both bedrooms face the street so it can be a bit noisy in the morning. There are a couple of construction sites in the vicinity but to our surprise they weren’t a disturbance at all. The best shopping area is Fuentes in Calico about 15 min drive around the northern tip the lake.

Antonietta's home was morevthan beautiful. She is a kind host and you can tell that she takes pride in it, from the inside out. She has a beautiful yard and garden, where she can be seen regularly tending to it. This place felt very comfortable. It is a climb up the mountain to get there for those who are fit. Otherwise you will have to takevthe bus most of the way up. Antonietta personally walks it every day.

We spent a week at Mara and Marco's accommodation. We had a great time, the view was wonderful and Mara's tips were worth their weight in gold. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and it was exceptionally clean. There wasn't even dust in the cupboards. There is a parking lot on the property and not on the street - so we didn't have to worry about our car. We agree with some of the reviews that the bed was not so comfortable and the couch was not either. Also, you should be aware that there is no internet - but we had mobile data so that was not a problem. If that's not important to you (like it is to us), you'll definitely have a great time here! We would come back.

This is a one of a kind airbnb - an extremely beautiful home. Great for a romantic trip. If you are planning to do significant travel in between towns, it is a bit more difficult location-wise as it is a ~20-25 minute walk (no sidewalk) to Torno for ferries and taxis are hard to come by, but you can plan your day around the ferry times. Monica was very responsive and made check-in easy. Would stay here again.

This is my second time staying at Walter and Mariuccia’s place. I love their home because we really feel at our home. They are very kind and responsive hosts. Again, I love their surroundings. Mountains, rivers, cute cities close by. I highly recommend their place to stay and for sure I will go back again.

Simply perfect! The accommodation was super clean, tastefully furnished and very cozy. The bed with topper was incredibly comfortable - I have rarely slept so well. Everything is at ground level, barrier-free and therefore also ideally suited for people with disabilities. Particularly practical: the private, protected parking space right in front of the door Host was extremely friendly and helpful The great guide folder with many personal tips, some of which I did not know despite five years of vacation on Lake Como, should be emphasized. The location is quiet, but easily accessible and easy to find. All around a great accommodation with attention to detail – I will definitely come back!

Super charming home with absolutely stunning views of Lake Como better seen in person. The amenities were wonderful and the hosts were so very friendly, attentive and helpful. Highly recommend staying here! Also, be sure to book any transportation ahead of time.

Best way to describe this location is STUNNING! The views are breath taking - more beautiful in person than the photos! We loved our stay - hard to beat having morning coffee & evening wine surrounded by such beauty! The night view when the lights appear is as beautiful as the day view! A car was necessary but well worth it. David was a very responsive and helpful host & we would definitely stay again if we have that opportunity!

Enrica (AKA Kikka) is a delightful woman who cares about her guests and does everything to make them feel at home. She responded very quickly to any of our questions and needs. She had great suggestions for restaurants, activities and site seeing outings, all listed in an informative book on the kitchen table. The view from the room is magical, almost beyond description, as you look out on to Lake Como both day and especially night!
