Gemünden Castle is a former castle from the 13th century, which was converted for residential purposes during the Baroque period. The manor house offers 6 spacious bedrooms with space for up to 6 families and groups up to 12 adults up to 12 adults. 16 people can be accommodated in 5 double beds and on good mattresses. In addition, the building offers spacious common areas. 1 large living and dining room with open fireplace. 1 small salon. 1 large kitchen, 1 library, 1 TV room, 1 sauna for 8 people.

Surrounded by forest, meadows and pastures, this charming hut is not only suitable for recreation and relaxation. In addition to its ideal starting point for hiking (directly on the Uplandsteig), cycling and excursions to the beautiful region, it is only a few kilometers away from the Willingen ski area. Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

We moved from the city to an old farm in 2016 and live here together with our dog Dago and three cats in the middle of Schwarzenfels, a municipality of the city of Sinntal, below the beautiful Schwarzenfels Castle. We are gradually renovating the farm. In 2020, our "vacation home" project was completed and we are looking forward to our guests.
