Holiday rentals with a patio in Briatico

We stayed at a few places in Italy this summer, coming from Rome to Napoli and finally Fabio's place in the South. I have to say this was my favourite stay. The place is very private, easy to access, close to other local beaches if you have a car. Fabio's dad was so welcoming, made us feel right at home. The house has all the amenities needed and is clean and easy to maintain. This is a fantastic place if you have children. Hopefully we will be back 🙂

An excellent apartment in a friendly and genuine village … We’ve just returned from a superb holiday in the village of Santa Domenica. What a great apartment. Spacious and well equipped, super clean, with a decent balcony and pool with a sun bathing area. No negatives for us at all. Everything we needed food wise was in the village ; a couple of supermarkets, a really good food/bric a brac market on Mondays, a bakery, fishmonger (that serves meals also), cafe/bars, 4/5 restaurants (Il Casale was our favourite). We used Santa Domenica as a base for a few days out to Pizzo and Scilla (both beautiful and, we thought, easily as nice as Tropea. A number of beaches are accessible from Santa Domenica but these involve walks which aren’t always easy when it’s 30+ degrees. And our host ? Teresa was ace. Picked us up from the Railway Station, gave us loads of decent recommendations and responded immediately to any questions we had. A great holiday !

Hosts were friendly and accommodating with our checking- in as we arrived quite late in the evening. Home was clean and as pictured. Wi-fi was spotty at times. Host answered our inquires and questions quickly. The location is ideal as it is centrally located to the major tourist attractions but there are limited attractions in the the town itself so a car is essential to get around. Very nice stay!

Die Unterkunft hat alles, was man braucht und ist modern und gut ausgestattet. Die kleine Anlage trohnt oben am Hang mit einem wunderbaren Blick aufs Meer. Man ist zum Einkaufen, etc zwingend auf ein Auto angewiesen. Eva war immer gut erreichbar und hat uns mit tollen Tipps versorgt. Wir waren dort 2 Wochen mit Baby und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Apartment ist sehr groß, hat eine gut ausgestatte Küche und eine schöne Terrasse. Es liegt ruhig in einer Nebenstraße von Caria. Der Trubel von Tropea ist mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen sowie unzählige schöne Strände. Parken direkt auf dem Grundstück ist natürlich angenehm. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht dem kann ich diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. .

Ho soggiornato unitamente alla mia famiglia in questo splendido alloggio. Situato all’interno di un complesso residenziale, con piscina annessa, l’alloggio offre una magnifica vista sulle Isole Eolie. Ben arredato, dotato di tutti i confort, pulito, con due climatizzatori che fanno appieno il loro dovere, punto di partenza per le numerose escursioni nelle vicine località (Costa degli Dei) che si vogliono visitare. Andrey pur non essendo presente sul luogo, è sempre stato gentile e reattivo. Alloggio per famiglie che consiglio vivamente!

L’alloggio era come da descrizione, pulito, accogliente e facile da raggiungere. La comunicazione con Brigida è stata sempre chiara, rapida ed efficiente.

Gianluca was an excellent host!! He’s incredibly friendly, communicative and cared about our wellbeing during our stay. He’s very responsive and gave us excellent recommendations. Unfortunately we couldn’t meet him during check in because we took a lot longer than planned to get to the accomodation, due to long distance driving. His apartment is within walking distance to the village but still very private and far from the noise. We felt right at home from day 1. We had breakfast outside every morning and it was so cozy and nice. Private and spacious parking was a plus. We loved every minute of it. Tropea is absolutely beautiful and I would love to come back. I highly recommend this apartment.

Vittorio was an amazing host! He was super friendly and asked if we needed food and offered to drive us to the station when we asked for a local taxi’s telephone number. We we’re there unfortunately for only one night but we couldn’t have asked for a better host.

Wer einen ruhigen urlaub haben möchte ist hier genau richtig. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und der Strand direkt vor dem Haus auch nicht sehr belebt. Die Strandbar ist auch super. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und zum kochen wurden auch alle Utensilien, sowie Basic Gewürze zur Verfügung gestellt. Giuseppina war sehr freundlich, hat immer sehr schnell geantwortet und war sehr hilfsbereit. Wir werden diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen und hoffentlich bald nochmal vorbei kommen.

We stayed in Francesca's apartment for ten days. At first, we were unlucky with the weather, and it was cold (19 degrees), damp and mouldy inside. Once it warmed up, however, we loved the apartment. It is located in a large, quiet garden, which was very relaxing. However, occasionally the dogs would bark all night long. This was annoying for my friend who slept in the big room. The interior design is beautiful, and the apartment has a lot of charm. It would have been great to have a vacuum cleaner to clean in between. The kitchen could do with a little renovation. Vibo Valentia is a beautiful Italian city perched on a hill. I think we were the only tourists there! There are great restaurants and pizzerias. We, my wife, our two girls and myself had the great pleasure to be able to spend 9 days in Mariliena“s house in beautiful Calabria. The house is fantastic and we‘ll do all we can to come back. It was absolutely clean, spacious for us as a family, wonderful outdoors spaces in the shade and on the rooftop terrace with an amazing sea view. Also, the house had everything we could have wanted for feeling at home and being able to cook and enjoy. And the best is still to come: Mariliena and Rocco were fantastic hosts who treated us like friends and showed us all the hospitality of this wonderful region with its crystal clear waters, wonderful beaches, beautiful and historic towns and the lovely people from Calabrian!

Die Unterkunft in Santa Maria ist sehr empfehlenswert: Die Wohnung ist zweckmässig eingerichtet und der Garten ist romantisch. Man hört das Meer-Rauschen und zum Strand ist es nur ein kurzer Spaziergang. Anna ist eine warme und hilfsbereite Persönlichkeit. Sie reagiert sofort und half uns auch bei einer abendlichen Lärmbelästigung noch sehr. Kurzum: Bei einem Besuch an der Costa degli Dei ist das Haus in Santa Maria eine super Adresse - wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Herzlichen Dank, Anna, für alles!

Der Empfang war sehr herzlich. Die Gastgeber haben sich viel Mühe gegeben den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen.

Doskonały apartament. Apartament jest niezwykle czysty, przestronny i świetnie wyposażony. Dwie łazienki są dużym udogodnieniem. Lokalizacja apartamentu jest idealna – blisko centrum miasta, co umożliwia łatwy dostęp do wszystkich atrakcji Tropei, a jednocześnie znajduje się w spokojnej okolicy, co gwarantuje ciszę i relaks. Dodatkowym atutem jest zapewniony parking. Apartament spełnił wszystkie nasze oczekiwania i z pewnością polecam go każdemu, kto szuka komfortowego i dobrze położonego miejsca w Tropei. Gospodarz Marco jest świetny i bardzo pomocny. Dzięki jego wsparciu i wskazówkom nasz pobyt był jeszcze bardziej udany!

La Casella is a cute tiny former chestnuts store, turned into a cozy place and it's even nicer than in the pictures. You have to like rural houses and nature to go there. Luigia and Vincenzo are super hosts, helping us in every moment, even left us presents during the stay with local products ( eggs, buiscuits and lavander).

Wir haben die idyllische Lage und die Ruhe genossen. Tonino und Caterina waren sehr zuvorkommend. Überraschend war, dass eine Kaution verlangt wurde und die Klimaanlage extra berechnet wurde.

Tania’s property was in a wonderful location, with less than a five minute walk to the beach. There is a local market to buy some food and toiletries, and a shuttle that can take you to other towns to do larger shops- Tania recommended us this and called in advance so they’d pick us up. The air conditioning and fans in the property make it so comfortable to live in. Tania was a great host, she let us check in early, picked us up from the station and was overall extremely welcoming. She was so helpful throughout our stay- from giving us recommendation to quick responses whenever we had a question.

Lovely apartment - exactly like the photos. Very clean and tastefully furnished. The outside terrace (furniture and views) were amazing! Would recommend! Car definitely required.

Semplicemente stupendo! Abbiamo prenotato fiduciosi, nonostante l'assenza di recensioni, e abbiamo fatto benissimo, non poteva andare meglio! L'appartamento che Marica e la sua splendida famiglia hanno riservato per noi è inserito all'interno di un casolare interamente di loro proprietà. Al piano terra c'è l'alloggio di famiglia che loro utilizzano saltuariamente e al piano superiore due appartamenti dedicati agli ospiti. L'alloggio messo a nostra disposizione era pulito, ordinato e assolutamente ben fornito. Inoltre, al nostro arrivo, abbiamo anche trovato dei prodotti dell'orto come regalo di benvenuto! La casa corrisponde perfettamente alla descrizione fornita, si trova in collina (da tenerne conto, se l'obiettivo è andare a piedi al mare). Per noi è stato l'ideale perchè ci ha consentito di essere in una delle zone più turistiche della Calabria, ma allo stesso tempo lontani dal caos e al fresco la sera. Ultima nota: la vista dal terrazzo sul mare spettacolare! Raccomandato!

It was a pleasure staying at Loredanas place :) everything was as described and really cozy and clean! There was great furnishing and equipment for cooking too and the neighborhood was nice. We spent some lovely evenings on the terrace from where you could see the sea as well. WiFi, the AC and everything worked fine! We were four people and it was enough space for all of us! Loredana was a very nice host too, she gave us some nice recommendations and answered very quickly! We would book again, when coming back! Thank you for hosting us :)

Situé en hauteur, le domaine de MARASUSA vous propose une superbe vue sur TROPEA, autant le matin que le soir, au coucher de soleil. Entretenu quotidiennement par Carmelo, l’intendant infatigable et très réactif, le site dispose d’une piscine très propre et bien pensée, de pelouses vertes arrosées tous les jours, d’arbres taillés…Superbe domaine …. L’appartement de MEYKE et GUY, très propre, et bien rangé, dispose d’une belle terrasse ouverte, délimitée par des murs et haies. Dans l’appartement, il y a aussi une Clim au top, une salle de bain très sympa, mais aussi beaucoup de rangement, ce qui est super appréciable. Belle location ….

Der Unterkunft war großartig. Der Garten und die Wohnung waren sehr gut gepflegt. Die Küche und das Bad waren sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig, der Strand ist wirklich in weniger als 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Der Gastgeber hat tolle Tipps gegeben und war sehr freundlich. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Nur zu Empfehlen!
