Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Brighton and Hove

I had the best time. Ray, Tracy and their family made me feel like one of the family. They even invited me to have a drink with them all. I felt like I had known them for years. They were all so friendly and so helpful. Ray even came in the car to show me where the train station was to pick up my daughter. Tracey took me to show me where the other local train station was. I cannot recommend this place enough. Everything is as you see on the listing. I am pretty fussy using other peoples bathrooms but it was my favourite room. So sweet and calming. I spent the warm evening sitting in the garden with the adorable Louie reading. The whole vibe of the neighbourhood was very relaxing.

Alison is the perfect host and serves you a wonderful continental breakfast. Room and bathroom are very tidy and clean. I loved the location of the accomodation in a very quite and private neighbourhood and just 5 minutes walk to the most beautiful street and area of Lewes. Thank you!

Daphne was a wonderful host that was very welcoming. Her home was lovely, nice rooms with comfortable linen on the beds and a large bathroom. Her homemade healthy breakfasts were delicious. It was really impressive to know her ingredients came from her garden. The garden itself, absolutely gorgeous! She has the sweetest two dogs, Saph & Topaz. Very well behaved & trained. My mom loved them. Thank you Daphne for allowing us to stay in your home.

I had a comfortable room in Jane’s home. Other guests arrived and we had a fine time connecting in Jane’s kitchen. Jane laid out a simple nourishing breakfast, made coffee or tea. The location was excellent. Jane was a considerate and friendly hostess. Thank you!

My partner and I had a warm and welcoming stay. The hosts were lovely and the extra greeting from two gorgeous four legged hosts was wonderful! Our room was lovely and spacious, I particularly liked waking up naturally with the sun through the large velux windows (blinds in place if you prefer a dark room and a nice lay in!) and a bath whilst looking at the sky was fab. Appreciated the supply of bottled water and yummy breakfast foods too. Would 10/10 recommend and stay again, thank you!

I cannot fault anything during my stay. Exactly as described and pictured. Ron gave a helpful suggestion for where to eat in the evening. I think I paid over the odds slightly but this was because it was the Brighton Marathon weekend and the reason for my visit. Breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend.

Jill was a delightful. if we had more energy, im sure we would have both liked to have gotten to know her better, and ask about her trinkets and seemingly very full life to date.

Abbiamo dormito 2 notti per poter assistere al Bonfire di Lewes e ci siamo trovati divinamente. Per prima cosa Jane e di una gentilezza incredibile, sia prima di arrivare che durante il soggiorno. Ci ha dato tante informazioni per il Bonfire. La casa si trova in una posizione perfetta perché in centro al paese ma in una via esterna, così da essere sia una zona tranquilla che in centro. La casa è lo stile che noi amiamo, accogliente. Al piano terra c’è la sala e la cucina. Mentre al piano superiore c’è la camera, con il bagno esterno condiviso, diviso in 2 stanza (una per io wc e l’altra per la vasca/doccia). Concludiamo dicendo che anche la colazione era perfetta: fette di pane con marmellata, te e tanto altro. Se si vuole alloggiare a Lewes, questo è il posto giusto con la persona giusta (e anche il suo carinissimo gatto).

Natalie was an amazing host and has a stunning property. The room was immaculate and is decorated beautifully. Natalie went above and beyond to accommodate us during the marathon weekend. The property is in a perfect location for visiting Brighton. Thanks again Natalie for an amazing stay and being such a welcoming host! We will definitely be back!!

Lovely house, very friendly and responsive owner that clearly puts a lot of care into the place. Very cosy even in these cold winter months!

Anita is a great host and a really nice person.She has a beautiful home and the baked goodies in breakfast are worth mentioning. Transportation to the place is easy from the city and the location is nearby the bus stop. Overall we spent a nice time.

I stayed with Daniel for 9 weeks and it was a great experience. He is a very kind man, had a chat with him every now and then and he invited all the guests to join for dinner once. When something was broken or anything, he fixed it right away (for example, the laundry machine got broken and he fixed a new one within 24 hours). He makes sure the house is clean and tidy, the room and kitchen had everyone you need for a long-term stay. The location is great, with many train and bus options close by to go to brighton or university of sussex. Would definitely recommend this place!

Daniel is an extraordinary host. He’s not just super friendly and welcoming, but also renovated this whole place with his bare hands ;) One really can tell - so much love for the little details, and such a good vibe. I absolutely enjoyed staying here for a week. If you’re doing home office, you will love the proper office chair in room 5. It is a 15min bus ride to Brighton center, or less into Hove, if you feel adventurous. Just around the corner is an incredible Indian restaurant (Dosa kingdom) that you should definitely try! A lovely one night stay in Janet's lovely home. Made very welcome by Janet who was very friendly and easy to get along with. The accommodation was perfect for us and was very clean and fresh. It was extremely quiet and we slept well. We were given a lovely continental breakfast in the morning which was great. Car parking was right outside the front door and very safe and secure. All in all a lovely visit and thank you Janet for your hospitality!

Stayed at Jan's place for 2 nights; me and my partner couldn't asked for a better place to stay. It's a few minutes walk to the beach and about 1 minute away from the town centre. Will happily return in the future. Highly recommend!

The place was just as described, perfect little spot for me and my dog, I booked last minute and late at night for a few days for work and everything was easy to find and had everything I needed. Bonus there was a big park about 5 min walk away to walk the dog

Sarah greeted us and gave us the warmest welcome, this was an absolutely perfect countryside escape! We had the most wonderful stay in this beautifully converted stable, tucked away in the stunning Kent countryside. The setting is peaceful and picturesque – a true retreat from the hustle and bustle. The space itself was spotlessly clean and styled to perfection, with a lovely blend of charm and comfort. The bed linens were luxurious and incredibly comfortable, and there were so many thoughtful touches throughout that made the stay feel extra special. Every detail had clearly been considered with care. We wouldn’t hesitate to return – a real hidden gem!

A lovely single room within walking distance to the town centre and beach. Huge bathroom with big towel provided. Lots of toiletries and nice touches such as coffee, choice of teas and biscuits in the room, along with fresh fruit and milk in the fridge located in the bedroom. Would definitely recommend staying here 😊
