Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Bristol County

Lovely and light-filled home right on the river in a stunning neighborhood. Very comfortable and had everything we needed. We stayed here for a few days to attend my niece's high school graduation after an overseas trip, and the home was the perfect place to rest and have a base from which to go and visit family. We would 100% stay here again.

My husband and I had a wonderful long-weekend stay at Nicole's cottage in Bristol! It was located in a serene neighborhood near the water which was nice to walk down to throughout the day. We were close to downtown Bristol and an easy drive to Newport, too. This cottage was clean and adorably decorated with New England coastal charm. The bed was also very comfortable! We even enjoyed a night inside doing a puzzle, which the host provided, on one of the rainy evenings. Overall, we had a great, relaxing stay here and definitely recommend it!

A lovely, completely updated, immaculately clean home! Mark and Mattie are wonderful to work with and even arranged for good weather for our son's wedding!

Very nice stay for our family! We were very comfortable here. The backyard is its own little oasis and the hot tub was so nice! Great hosts with little touches throughout the house - snacks and drinks on arrival, tissue boxes on each end table, plenty of towels, local recommendations, and more. The house was exactly how I imagined it. A very relaxed beautiful setting with birds chirping and right near the water. The home was gorgeous and Leigh Anne was great with communicating and all the lovely touches that she did that went above and beyond. I was unwell and she dropped off tissues and specials teas etc to help and advised me on the best way to get to a Doctor. The place was amazing and a real oasis to relax and unwind on a very busy 5 week trip. We had 3 night here and we wish we could of had more. Thanks for your wonderful hospitality.

My husband and I had a lovely stay in this listing over Memorial Day weekend. The home itself and particularly the view were even more beautiful than pictured. Elena is a fantastic host - flexible, accommodating, and always quick to respond to any request. The adorable town of Warren, which is a few minutes drive away, boasts countless restaurants, bars, art galleries, boutiques, and more. I could not more highly recommend this home for couples, families, or groups of friends looking for a fantastic waterfront getaway.

Great rental with awesome coastal decor in the quaint setting of historic downtown Bristol. House was exactly as presented, immaculate, and comfortable. Parking is an issue unless you have a compact car. Truly enjoyed our stay and definitely would recommend to others.

Absolutely wonderful location with access to the adorable downtown and right on the water with walking/bike path. The view was lovely! The place was spotless and kitchen was perfect. The house is not the same colors as described so it was a little tricky initially to find it and I thought it was a whole house (it is a single family house but you stay in only one part of the house). Thankfully there was no one staying in the rest of the house since I was there with 4 children! Also it’s noted that there is no TV so I was prepared for that but there also really isn’t a living room or living space so just something to keep in mind. A great stay!

Mary’s place was the perfect spot for unwinding and to enjoy all Bristol has to offer. Clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Mary was exceptionally helpful and amazingly responsive. Would highly recommend to anyone.

My college friend and I always do a yearly reading retreat Memorial Day weekend and Lori’s place was the perfect getaway. The views were breathtaking and the house on the lake was so peaceful definitely recommend this quiet lake getaway. Still dreaming of the sunset on the lake

Spacious, clean, and lovely apartment in great location in a beautiful town. Hosts were responsive, shower was great, and beds were comfortable, although light sleepers should know that the bedrooms are right up against the street. Loved the bike path and a lot of walk-to restaurants including SS Dion, Quito's, and Beehive Cafe.

We had a wonderful stay here! Bethany was incredibly attentive and we actually got to meet her & chat while on the property. The location is great, just steps from the waterfront and walking distance to a local park. Very private & quiet area, and the unit came supplied with everything we could’ve needed. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We had a great stay at Steve's place and will book it again. Apartment had everything we needed, and we felt right at home. Enjoyed coffee and playing cards on the front porch. Location was perfect, walkable to the downtown, Independence Park, and other local neighborhood restaurants. This place was great for our family! Marie was super communicative and friendly. The check in and out process was really easy and straightforward. Location was great and doable walk to town and great proximity to colt state park. They went the extra mile and had some toys and books which came in handy for our toddler. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful place right off the east bay bike path! I stayed for a night with a couple of friends during a bike trip. The location is really convenient, two blocks from an amazing coffee shop and insanely good breakfast spot, and five minutes walk to one of the best dinners me and my friends had ever had. The space was really beautiful and obviously very thoughtfully put together. Towels were huge and fluffy and there were plenty of them! The washer dryer was especially great; I was able to wash my bike clothes before the return trip which I don't always get to do on overnights. Would definitely recommend if you're trying to putz around the east bay!

What a great place. It is very well located with lots of fun restaurants, a great tea shop and a Seven Stars bakery right around the corner. The place is very well maintained and very comfortable. I appreciated the desk with a pad of paper and a supply of pens and the binder with history on the neighborhood. One note for future guests....It was 85 degrees in the apartment when I arrived and my first instinct was to adjust what looked like a thermostat for central air. I discovered there isn't central but there are window AC units in each of the two bedrooms. I turned them both on and the whole place quickly cooled down. From then on, the temperature was perfect. This will definitely be my go-to place when I'm in Providence. Thank you Ernest.

This place was great! It was wonderful to stay in such a historic building. The apartment was very clean and tidy, the check-in/check-out instructions were very easy, and the host also provided suggestions for nearby restaurants. I definitely recommend this place!

Host was responsive and helpful, instructions were clear. The apartment was clean and very nice, we enjoyed eating dinner on the porch. It was easy to drive to downtown Providence and Gillette Stadium. It was easy to get to and a lot of space for parking (we all arrived mostly separately and there was space to park all 3 cars). Also, we were all very impressed by the shower and the water pressure lol. A great location and great Airbnb!! I would def recommend this spot and would come back! 😊

We had a wonderful stay at Ashley and Dan’s bnb. The space is beautiful, ornate and full of charm, with a sunny kitchen that looks out onto a beautiful garden. The location is ideal, right across from the Atheneum library, and the whole home feels peaceful and thoughtfully curated. One highlight: they have Lord of the Rings Trivial Pursuit, which brought us so much joy! Ashley was incredibly kind and always ready to help, and both she and Dan were excellent with communication. The bed was also a dream: soft, cozy, and perfect for restful sleep after a long day. Highly recommend!

We had SUCH a wonderful stay. The host was incredibly communicative and friendly before, during, and after our stay. The condo was spacious and very clean and was equipped with more than everything we needed. Location is walkable to so many shops and restaurants and was perfect for our needs. Charles & Sharolyn were great hosts and have set the apartment up nicely for a comfortable stay. Everything was just as described and the location was perfect for us to attend a wedding in Bristol. Hot tub on a cool spring evening was the cherry on top.

This is a ground level apartment in an historic home just off Benefit Street, a prime location on Providence’s College Hill. Because of the sloped terrain, it might seem like a basement apartment from one side, but it has a garden entrance at the front door. If you can handle the steep streets in this hilly area, it’s a perfect location if you want to be within walking distance of Brown University, the Rhode Island School of Design, and Downtown Providence. I did not rent a car while staying here and never felt I needed one. Tall travelers should be aware that this dwelling has low ceilings by modern standards. That didn’t bother me in the slightest; in fact, it made the apartment feel more cozy. Nevertheless, visitors over six feet tall should be aware of this aspect and make an informed decision. The apartment has a warm, comforting esthetic with all sorts of art on the walls and books on the shelf, and both made a great background for video conferences using the robust wifi signal.
