The Garden House

Visit one of Denmark's most popular islands and stay in a luxurious half-timbering house with an impressive fireplace. The house is hidden in one of the old gardens in the center of Ærøskøbing, 2 minutes walk from the ferry. Surrounded by your own quiet garden with two private terrasses. The spacious 40 sqm house is renovated with modern comfort. NOTE: From June 1st to September 1st, Ærøskøbing is closed to cars. You can park two minutes from the house – free of charge and without time limit.

Enjoy the sea as well as the city in this town-house from 1856, located in the centre of idyllic Faaborg with its cafes, restaurants and grocery stores. Less than 200 meters from the harbour bath (with sauna), the picturesque old harbour, the ferries to the islands, and the promenade along the sea. A respite from the busy everyday life in the middle of the South Funen countryside - surrounded by lakes, fruit plantations and forests. In June and July, you can pick your own seasonal berries. A wilderness bath can be purchased for DKK 250 per time, which covers water, firewood and cleaning. Bed linen and towels can be purchased for DKK 50 per person.
